Maybe a stupid question… why do you need a second power supply for the LED stripe? You already have a power supply for your installation?

Great video, very clear. Thanks. Can I suggest something: add a short demo of the end result at the beginning and end. Like: We are going to build this functionality... Your showing of the end-result was only a few seconds. A bit more time there would make it easier to understand what the goal (end-result) is.

What I don't understand though why do you need a led controller, 24v power supply and a dimming actuator?
I thought if I'd get the MDT AKD-0424R.02 that this unit would provide the power and dimming capabilities for the led lights to dim, power on and switch on & off?
Am I wrong in my assumption?

In this video i used a 1-10V Dimming Actuator and that is why i had to use a LED Controller. 1-10V Dimming Actuators are very common and you can use them to drive Led Strips without worrying about the load. MDT AKD-0424R.02 can drive directly 1 to 4 Led Strips (4A per Channel) without the need of external LED Controller.
Hello, Many thanks, those videos helped answer a lot of questions I had about KNX.
As you have a broad knowledge of Weinzierl devices, I would have a question about the Multi I/O 570 :
I would like to use it to read the state of regular switches in a house (As I would prefer them over push-buttons) and wonder if this unit can trigger a telegram whenever a regular switch has its state changed (regardless if it changes from off->on OR on->off). I would then simply toggle an output on each rising or falling-edge for example. From their documentation I feel like it is possible but I'm not 100% sure.Also would see any reason not to go for this setup ? Many thanks for your insights, have a lovely day !
what is a circuit breaker and why do I need it? why wouldn't I just plug the power supply into the power outlet directly?
A circuit breaker is an electrical switch designed to protect an electrical circuit (in our case the KNX Devices) from damage caused by excess current from an overload or short circuit. In this video i made an electrical demo cabinet so i tried to make it as close as possible to a real installation. Of course this was only for Demo, since in a real installation further protection is required.

I used images from the real products(Insert --> Picture) and then i connected them using the line tool of smartdraw. I will make a short video about this, so stay tuned!

Thanks for doing this! I'm currently setting up a KNX system myself, and my KNX bus cable has 4 wires like yours but with an additional bare copper wire in there too, what would that be used for??

When downloading the program to the device, the download fails and it prompts that there is an error writing to the memory block. What is the reason?
Try to restart the KNX device and try again. Are you sure that you are using the correct library for the device? Have you tried to make a full download instead of partial download?

I believe that it comes from the latin word "CONEXIO" which means Connection.
So "CONEXIO" --> "KONEX" --> "KNX"
