- In todays episode we will review Thinka for KNX!
Thinka for KNX allows you control your home using Apple Homekit, Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

Inside Thinka box you will find :
-Quick Start Guide
-Thinka
-12V 1A DC Power Supply
-Ethernet Cable
-Universal AC Adaptors
The steps for connecting Thinka are :
1) Connect Thinka to your Local Lan
2) Connect Thinka with the DC Power Supply
3) Open a browser and visit : setup.thinka.eu
4) Choose connection with your KNX Installation (Twisted Pair or IP)
5) Upload your KNX project
6) Review Accessories
7) For Apple Homekit download Thinka Setup App
8) For Amazon Alexa you will need a pairing token from Thinka's web interface
9) For Google Home you will need a pairing token from Thinka's web interface
Please have in mind that in order to work on a KNX project you need to be certified.

سعره ارخص من ثينكا و لكن يجي عمل حساب علي الموقع لاستخدامه. واجهة ثينكا اسهل في الاستخدام. السرعة لا يوجد فرق. يمكن توصيله من خلال knx لمصدر الطاقة

Love all the videos you make. Thanks for taking the time to make them. I am trying to get into knx I am from argentina but the course for knx is to expensive. I want to control z wave device with Homekit. The only possible thing that I think this is possible is using the Thinknx bridge and add this Thinka bridge to control it with Homekit. Do you know any bridge that is Zwave compatible and allows you to make a ets file to use it with Thinka? Thanks

Poseidwn Tech I saw the video it was good and I did a little research and found out that Homekit now is stop because they are trying certified it.
As far as i know they will be certified soon. But either way i will make a research and i will let you know.
@@PoseidwnTech thanks i am emailing them also. Is a very good system but i dont know if the z wave is for all zwave products or only fibaro. I also want to control blinds like somfy rts. How you can control using the iridium lite system? i know i can do it with knx using rs485 to rts but is a extra cost for my client. thanks for the help.
@@musictoms It is not only for Fibaro. Fibaro is used for the needs of the video. Send a mail with the zwave devices that you need in support@iridiummobile.ru and they will answer you if they support these devices or not.
Hi,
I was wondering if you could help me out with the setup process. My thinka gets stuck on solid red when I plug it in. Any advice on how to get it to moove forward?

According to Thinka :
"When the Thinka is starting up the LED is constant red. After starting up your Thinka will look for updates while the LED flashes red. When ready your Thinka's LED should be constant green. Sometimes a Thinka will restart after receiving an update, and power off the LED for a short while. In some cases even twice. If your Thinka is blinking green, it means it needs attention, most probably it has lost some connection."
So i believe it is better to contact Thinka Support at : support@thinka.eu
You didn't add to google home the thermostat. Is there a reason for it?

is thinka compatible for all knx module and actuator? i have a set of knx component made of schneider brand
It doesn't matter who is the manufacturer as long as is a KNX Product.

Thank you for your video. In order to add curtains to Thinka i need an adress that returns the exact position of the curtains. My curtains doesn't give me this information, do you know if I can still add them? Or another possible way to add them? Thank you
Hi! I sent your question to Thinka Support and the answer is : "We currently have support for blinds without current position in development. Only fully opening or closing the blinds will be supported."

That’s exactly what I wanted to ask. It seems that they do exactly the same? But 1Home seems to require you to connect your accounts to their website while with Thinka it’s don’t on local IP Gateway?
