These all look great books to read and I want to recommend one to you. There is Tiffany Aching series by Terry Prachett including of 4 books which plots an intern witch going through various journeys, dealing with daily problems and trying to get educated as a witch at the same time. Very cosy, very heart-warming, very relatable, very witchy and the writing style is so to the point... My favorite was the 4th book I Shall Wear Midnight. If you read them, I hope you enjoy them 🕯🍁🧙
I am currently reading Weyward and it is absolutely amazing. I don’t want it to end. Each character is so beautiful and the way their lives all intertwine it just keeps me wanting more from page one. I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you so much for all of these recommendations I love watching your video. You are funny and I love your details about the books. Many Blessings 2 You.
Garden Spells is so good - I listened to it on audiobook while traveling. I loved that the tree throws apples at people that it doesn't like (that made me laugh :) The family aspect was also really lovely.
I happened onto Garden Spells years ago and picked it up even though I had never been interested in "magical realism"......I had never heard that term before. Oh, Man, while reading that book my eyes were really opened to a new genre. Just loved this book. Sarah Addison Allen was my new favorite author and I had a big list of authors that I liked. She is the youngest author of the bunch. Since she was so young I thought for sure here was an author that will be around to keep producing wonderful books. But then she had a serious health scare and it looked like her writing days were over. But thank goodness she was able to recover and has started writing again. Yes, I can understand how whenever you mention this author you get lots of comments. Sarah Addison Allen is that special of an author. By the way, love your videos. Really enjoying them. Keep up the good work. Very interesting videos. Love the Halloween vib.
Omg so many good recommendations!!! I absolutely loooove Sarah Addison Allen!!! I'm in the process of collecting her books. Garden Spells, The Sugar Queen and The Girl Who Chased the Moon are my faves, but all of her books are so wonderful. I just need one more book and I'll have all of her books to date.
Have you read 'magic, lies and deadly pies'? It's about a witch that can put intentions into her pastries. She has her own bakery, but as a side business she makes murder pies to kill men who have wronged women. It's a cosy witchy crime novel and if you love it there's a sequel
🧙🏼♀️🧚 some magic emojies for ya. I love this list. I'm in a mood for The Raven Cycle reread. But I need a witchy book too. Adrienne Young's one sounds perfect!
I've just read Weyward and I love the deep connection with nature that these women had🦅🐛🦟🐝. I have to say that it starts slowly because every chapter is one of the women, so you have to take time to connect with the characters and know their backgrounds. I can't wait to see what you think =) Also I add some of your recommendations to my wish list ✨✨✨
So many great recommendations and many that I have on my TBR that I had completely forgotten about lol thank you for the reminder and recommendations! 😅
I just finished The Witchery yesterday. I’ve also read Conjure Women. They both fell flat for me, unfortunately. Weyward has been on my tbr, and after seeing all the comments raving about it, I’m bumping it up! Thanks for sharing all of these. 🖤
Garden Spells!! I love Sarah Addison Allen! You should read Sugar Queen by her for December! It is my comfort read. All her books have a little magic in them. Great video! 🧙🏼♀️🖤
This video reminded me of the Enchanted Forest Chronicles (a middle grade series) which tragically has only one witch, but! she's a good friend of our heroine so we see her quite a bit. This book series was published across the mid 80s to mid 90s. It is similar to Discworld in that the world is kind of self aware? So it breaks down some stereotypes and reinforces others. The witch is extremely clean and tidy while the wizards are dissolved in lemon-scented soapy water. It's great! Highly recommend
Adding all to my TBR list😍 I’m currently reading Spells for forgetting the setting is everything! I’ve been loving it so far. Only thing I wish there was more witchy vibes. 🧡🕯️
You should check out Love Sugar Magic series by Anna Meriano. This is a middle grade witchy book, that follows a family of Brujas who add sweet magic to the food at the family bakery.
I LOVED Weyward but its a hard read, lots of trigger warnings and it was so heavy but amazing I took a reading break after lol. Probably a favourite now. Not sure if you have read Cider Mill Coven yet, but I also highly recommend that one 🧙♀
🧙♀️ this time of year is perfect for witchy books! I want to read some non fiction about the history of Witches. The Ruin of Witches being high up on my list
Thank you for all the recommendations!! I’ve been looking for witchy books and I haven’t heard of some of these 🔮😊 I just read one called Unfamiliar and it was a really cute witchy graphic novel
🔮🙌🏻thank you for sharing these books! Bakery+magic+witchy vibes also live in the book "The bakeshop on pumpkin and spice". Also, can help by recommend "Wolf gone wild". One of the most witchy, cozy, romantic, feel-good read of this month🕯✨️
Our brows have gone too long without their reefs. Why are there crowns for queens but not for you? The horns of sculpted Moses part the sea; a passageway believed and crossed by few. Do humpback whales still pirouette out there? The sea denies it parted in the past- -thy forehead’s only felt rogue strands of hair that dampen in the shallows where we splash. Thou, on the beach, the missing royal link; no resident to any beach-front house. Why walk the beach and wonder when to swim? our hallway in the sea conceals itself. But in the shallows, foreheads bead with drops. Ah, what those shining drops remind me of.
Weyward is MY FAVORITE BOOK. As a witch myself, this is a must read for anyone interested in and fascinated with it.
That candle is freaking me out!! SAVE THE BOOKS!!!! and you of course! 😂 But THEEEE BOOOOOKKKSSSSS

Weyward is STUNNING!!!!! 🔮✨🩵
I am currently reading Weyward and it is absolutely amazing. I don’t want it to end. Each character is so beautiful and the way their lives all intertwine it just keeps me wanting more from page one. I hope you enjoy it.
