ahhh can’t wait for the witchy recs! I always crave witchy books at the end up summer, usually towards the middle of august into september 🧙🏼♀️ Tomorrow x3 is def one of my faves of this year too, what a wonderful reading experience 🥹
My favorite of the year is The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea, and my worst is Piranesi. I also just found a really nice manga called The Savior’s Book Cafe Story in Another World!
I appreciate your recommendations and I've read all your faves! I love witchy and fantasy books so much. The Auralee Wallace was new to me and I loved it and I'm looking forward to the next installment. I can't wait for autumn too! Thanks for the recs.
My favourite of the year so far is surprisingly A Cuban Girls Guide to Tea and Tomorrow (SO cozy and heartwarming!!!) and my least favourite would be the summer I turned pretty (very dull for me)
🌷 It was my first time seeing these questions and I had a lot of fun reflecting on the books I read in the early half of the year. I've read so many I had to look back at my storygraph history, but even so I ended up re-using books as answers to multiple questions. That Dark Infinity is the best book I've read this year. I read it at the start of the year, and it's been stiff competition for all the books that have come after.
Can I just say that I placed an order and every item I received from Leora I fell in love with. I especially use her book marks on my magical books. Her note pad siting in my altar I case I need to write down a checklist for a spell. They’re wonderful!
Ohhh I also read Irregular Witches and In the Company of Witches this year and really enjoyed them both! 💖 I definitely need more witchy recs, I can't never get enough of these!
I want and NEED to read The Name of the Wind!! I have both books but I know The Doors of Stone has been delayed for years so it's hard for me to even start
I loved In The Company of Witches also! Book 2 is also very good. The author posted that her publishing company has decided they are no longer mass market paperbacks, so she’s not sure if she can get out book 3 yet. Fingers crossed 🤞
Love your videos! And loooveeeee those earrings! 🗡️. Also can’t wait for your witchy book recommendations, those are my absolute favorite! Spooky season here we come! 🎃👻🪄🔮
just wanted to tell everyone real quick that juultjes world, who is making these adorable little gnome books IS shipping to other countries as well and not only to the netherlands & belgium. I'm from germany and I ordered one as well and it was all fine :) so you can get the gnome books in other countries as well
Best book I've read this year is "As Long As The Lemon Trees Grow" by Zoulfa Katouh. Deals with a lot of heavy topics and had me sobbing for most of it, but it's absolutely amazing. I don't necessarily have a worst book from this year... However, the main character in "Kiss Her Once For Me" by Alison Cochrun really irritated me
My favourite so far was "The Left Hand of Darkness" by Ursula K. LeGuin - it was just so amazing, I've been a fan of LG's fantasy for a while now but seems like her scifi is just as marvellous. The worst one... I think V. E. Schwab's "The Invisible Life of Addie La Rue", it was just a complete miss for me. I mean the vibe wasn't bad so it was kinda pleasant to read but otherwise... just meh. Thank you for the vid and all the recommendations, have a wonderful day! 🌷
Oh man I feel like Gabrielle Zevin enjoys drawing her readers into her weird s3xual baggage. Her books always have characters doing or saying things that are really inappropriate. Like what possessed her to write that an adopted girl had a crush on her biological father? The book didn’t need that line.
Wow, favorite book of so much? I've read "Tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow", too, I liked it (4 stars), but don't loved it. My favorite book of the first 6 month is "The dead romantics", sooooo lovely ♥ Oh, and my least favorite (actually the 2nd least, because the worst isn't published in englisch) is "Days at the Morisaki Bookshop". It could be so nice, but I never get the sense of the 2nd half of the book, so weird 😁
I've been wanting to read Irregular Witches for a while but zi just have so many others books I want to read too 🥲 Maybe in autumn I'll have some time. Everyone that has read it seams to really love it
I really need to read more witchy books. If I could be any fantastical creature, I definitely would want to be a witch. 😂

My favorite of the year is The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea, and my worst is Piranesi. I also just found a really nice manga called The Savior’s Book Cafe Story in Another World!

Love Theoretically, Yellowface and Babel were my favourite books this year. 🌷
rf kuang readers rise up!!!
@@leoraaileen Yellowface and Babel are the first books of RF Kuang I have ever read.
Love your video. My favorite serie is horrorland.
I need to know where your earrings are from! ❤ I’m obsessed
bought them from a little store in dord, they have no brand on them 🥺💖
Best book so far this year was Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree ☕️ 🥐 🍪
Worst book was De Bedrogene by Kiera Cass 👑
hahahaha i read so much kiera cass as a teen and lowkey hated all of them but kept reading???
@@leoraaileen I loved the selection series but after that it went downhill pretty quickly

If you do a witch book rec vid you should title it “Witch Books to Read in Fall” hehe
🌷
The name of the wind was actually my biggest disappointment this year😪😪
omg wow!
Oh man I feel like Gabrielle Zevin enjoys drawing her readers into her weird s3xual baggage. Her books always have characters doing or saying things that are really inappropriate. Like what possessed her to write that an adopted girl had a crush on her biological father? The book didn’t need that line.
ooooooh that sounds awful, I didn't interpret it that way AT ALL and never even thought of it but I can see where you're coming from!
Wow, favorite book of so much? I've read "Tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow", too, I liked it (4 stars), but don't loved it. My favorite this year was Migrations by Charlotte McConaghy. It took me completely by surprise and punched me right in the gut in the best way. 🩵
