Thank you for opening up about your mental health my love! I am so glad you're feeling better and are proud of all the progress you've made, that's a huge achievement. I get upset with myself when I get burnt out and my anxiety worsens too, it's so hard not to with the pressures of everyday life weighing down on you. It's a constant up and down battle, that's for sure! We just have to enjoy the moments of joy in between, big and small! ♥

I also have the general anxiety disorder and it tends to cause more symptoms when I'm stressed out and tired. I'm graduating in two weeks and I don't have school anymore so I've been consciously and purposely taking some relax time for myself because I know it makes so good for me. And it's been lovely because my reading has been more active again! Right now my situation is quite good and I've been going therapy for almost a year now and it has helped. It's nice to hear about you and your life and recent reads :)

There is a beautiful victorian English book which almost no one read " The Gadfly" by Ethel Lilian Voinich( her maiden name was Bull). I recommend to everyone to read it.

I also think it's really nice to hear you being excited about all the things you've been up to and it doesn't feel at all like bragging to me. I recognize the feeling of excitement when you're doing new things that you're passionate about. I started my own (low-key) business a year ago in making and selling my own knitting patterns. Every time I'm doing well or I'm trying something new, I get so excited and I want to tell everyone about it. Right now I'm venturing into giving knitting courses as well and I'm really excited.
I visited you at the market in Tilburg! I think it is really cool you're doing these markets and I would love to visit again if you're close by.

Thank you for sharing what you have been up to (and books - always love the books :) My current read is "In the Company of Witches" by Auralee Wallace; about a family of witches running a B&B in a small town when something goes horribly wrong with a guest (this one has strong Gilmore Girl vibes too). I am enjoying it, although I would love more coziness and less sleuthing 🌘🧣🤣!

I was never officially diagnosed with Vaginismus...but I'm pretty sure I had it. I did the physical therapy for it and it helped me immensely, but I always had a fear of intimacy because of it.

I've always done drawing ever since I was small! But I've become better through lots and lots and lots of practice and by graduating art school and following many courses :)

The only thing I've done recently is host a small readathon that went pretty well. It did get me to read a new book I've been meaning to get to, The Inevitability Of. A book a Type-A 26 year-old women who discovers her magical heritage and has to deal with gods(loa specifically) and the 4 Horsemen.
So far, I've written another book (collection of horror stories).. on its way to be proofread, and I'm trying to make some card and board game. I'd love to learn how to illustrate.

Two books I read and loved over the fall months and HIGHLY recommend are "The Unfortunate Effects of Heartbreak and Magic" by Breanne Randall (content warnings for death of a family member and attempted suicide), which managed to be cozy even while dealing with some deeper topics, and "If I Have to Be Haunted" by Miranda Sun, which was a YA novel that was way better than it had any right to be with a romance that literally had me squealing. A recent thing I've done is to start journaling in an attempt to help quiet my own anxiety when it gets to be too much. And a favorite thing is the ghost mug I bought from Flying Tiger for Halloween.
The Unfortunate Effects of Heartbreak and Magic was on my radar but unfortunately didn't get great reviews which had me hesitating! glad you loved it though!!!
