      I agree metas are annoying however one thing i found is amogst the tops cars (which feels like a good few of the cars) that the cars are so close like 10ths of a second close so meta doesn't matter much more so the skill of your control of the car

    massively helpful brother, thank you. i just got really into racing games this year, i’ve always been more of a fan of arcadey drifty type racing games, but the more i play sim games the more i enjoy them; they’re just so satisfying and precise. this was very helpful.

    Hi Arnout. I purchased two of your setups. The Mcclaren and the Ferrari. I'm a beginner with 160+hrs in ACC. Your setups helped me so much to understand how to setup a car. I did a 8:51 time on the 24H Nurb in the Mcclaren . Don't think it is that quick, but it was huge for me!. Not the easiest track i must say, but it is my favourite track. Thank you. Jeff

      Honestly if you have questions i may be able to answer them plus its sorta easy least for me as i use a fuel calculator website where i enter fuel consumption time or laps and laptime your attempting to hit and it gives a fuel percentage usually a bit more than you need but rather safe than rolling across the line out of gas

    From A+ GT driver, 4k LFM ACC, I would suggest going with iRacing if money is not an issue. The only thing I regret is not starting with it 5 years ago when I joined sim-racing...

    • @ShanDiegoMG
      @ShanDiegoMG 3 місяці тому

      I heavily disagree with this comment lol . I suggest ACC if you’re new . No point in starting with iracing if you are brand new .The main point of iracing is for the main feature .. online play . If you’re playing for single player ( which noobs will play ) then def save literally HUNDREDS of dollars and grab ACC which is like $10 and start with that game which also has crossplay online

    • @SimracingArnout

      I racing is great but costly and i just feel it is the outdated cause of the graphics it needs an update, acc is when purchased free to use, not perfect but it is free to use

    • @maxshramko5214
      @maxshramko5214 3 місяці тому

      @@SimracingArnout It feels outdated only when you look at it on UA-cam. Once you jumped into a car you don't notice outdated UI or smth, and the graphics is not that bad though. However the physics is just on another level, I saw some "pros" in ACC who don't even trailbrake and do 2:15 on Spa... In iRacing you finally feel the impact of trailbraking, how tires are loaded, how balance of the car works, how suspension reacts, ... And I forgot to mention the one biggest flaw in ACC, it has no defense against cheating and believe me, there're a lot of them in LFM... Do you want to do the whole race with 1L of fuel? Ok! Do you want to race with 3.0 tire thread all the time? Sure!. Do you want to add few extra clicks of downforce even though it's already maximum selected? No problem. Just 5 min of research and a few clicks and it's done. Driver's data is not being sent to server so it's ok if you do whatever you like to do, and maximum what everyone will think is that you have some mega-setup on your car unless you do some really bad stuff like 300+ kph on GT3 :-)

      i’m not necessarily new to this game as i’ve had it for about a year now on ps5, but i remember having the same thoughts. i don’t remember exactly what all i changed from the default video settings but my settings currently are as listed;
      Motion Blur: Enabled
      Saturation: 100%
      White Balance: Neutral
      Sharpness: 80%
      Camera Dirt Effect: 3.0
      Image Contrast: 0.50
      Exposure Gain: 0.50
      Tone Mapping: Aces
      again i don’t know what all of that is actually changed since it’s been so long but that is what looked good to me, but obviously mess with the settings yourself a bit and form it to your liking

    I disagree with racing line setting being hidden (i'm beginner with 100 + hours) for the first 70 hours I played with visable racing line and started to memorize the optimal line and braking points on the track, the line just helped me being consistant at the start since i was very new to the sim racing. After these 70 hours i put the racing line to hidden and I had absolutely no issues driving fast (some tracks even faster than before) i think racing line is a good setting for learning the new tracks faster.
