this will be such a joy for you to see Andrea, when the time comes that you are finished grieving. Your laughter over anemone.... The light of love in your eyes and faces. How wonderful, that you were able to share this podcast and knitting with Andrew. Such a rare gentleman.

I love it that this lovely “manly man” looked so adoringly at his wife, got into his wife’s knitting passion so authentically and participated so seriously - gave positive convo inputs and helped with math challenges during the podcast. Bravo.

I too decided to start at the beginning and watch all the missed podcasts. My heart breaks for your family over the loss of Andrew. Some day as you emerge from the deep pain of loss these videos will be comforting.

This came up in my suggestions. So right away I clicked. I was ok until Andrew’s introduction. I was hit with such a bittersweet wave of emotion.

Thank you for making me laugh. When you said the color of the yarn Andrew used was Sea Enema, he graciously corrected you that he thought it might be Sea Anenome. Andrews always so polite. Andrea, you are fortunate to have all these episodes to remember him by. Love.

Decided to watch from the beginning as have never seen the earlier episodes, such a lovely family and so sad that you have lost Andrew at such a young age to a terrible disease.

I like Caroline, wanted to go back to the begining and work through as Andrew is such a lovely man. My heart goes out to Andrea and Madeleine at your loss.

I’ve been recovering from surgery so decided to start watching from the beginning of your channel. I recently resumed knitting a project that I started 2017. Had to put it on hiatus due to needing surgeries on my spine, my dominant hand, rotator cuff repair, and now my knee. Though I’m getting physical therapy, my stamina is not back yet.

Like others, I’ve seen more recent episodes and wanted to start at the beginning. Fun to see how you started. What a lovely family.

Hi there, This is my first ever time leaving a comment to anyone. I am a very new knitter, Just making my first ever socks. Today husband and I went to the little yarn shop an hour from our home and while getting more needles and 2 skeins of beautiful extra fine Merino,Polyamide,Cashmere wool blend I had a really nice conversation with the owner of the shop and we were telling each other the podcasts we watch. She told me of yours and I went home and watched. Your podcast was very interesting and your whole family is really lovely. I will continue to enjoy watching you all and I'm sure I will learn a lot as well. Thank you, Great Job.

Yes, I'm going through the older episodes now and it is such a treat! There is a sparkling sort of electricity or energy between you two and the camera but it's more than that. Some things were just meant to be.

I just started watching the episodes over again, because they just put me in a good frame of mind. And I've learnt so much. Thank you, Andrea and Andrew!

Love the inclusion of classical music. It's also great to hear aussies talking about knitting (as a fellow aussie).

  • @rosellajohnson40

I have been watching your more recent episodes, but it was so fun to go back and watch your first and how you got started. Thank you so much for sharing.😊

Though I found Fruity Knitting months ago, I hadn’t had time to start at the beginning and listen to every episode. I’ve gone back to Episode #1 and am so enjoying getting to know you both. Your style is friendly and soothing, very conducive to slowing our spinning world down so that we can really savor our knitting.

I find myself drawn to your beautiful story. I first saw your “Remembering Andrew” video on Sunday. I then saw the one where you announce his diagnosis. I have now started watching from the beginning. I’m about to start episode 4. Continued prayers for you all!!! 🙏🏼🕊🙏🏼

Just watched your beautiful memorial episode dedicated to your late husband, & was intrigued by your earlier life in Australia. So decided to go back to your 1st episode which I’ve never seen. I also grew up in Riverina area & was born in Corowa in the 50’s.
