In the 90s, a Bengali newspaper published about a baby girl who had been left by the roadside, near a dustbin, by her parents. In the report, they had also mentioned about the frail condition of the infant. Soon, a local NGO and government officials came into action and rescued the baby.It was by a sheer chance that Mithun read the story about her rescue after which he decided to adopt her. After he expressed his desire of adopting her, his wife, Yogita Bali, backed him. After all the legal proceedings and paperwork, they finally adopted her and set an example for generations to come.

I think because she has become such an inseparable part of the family and they themselves never use the term "adopted", out of respect Tabassum Aunty cautiously avoided mentioning it.
@@shuklabhattacharya3139 There is nothing mention like "Adopted " here but this amazing incidence still today you can found in Google and "Anandabazar Archives" you know why because 3 stray dogs take care of this angel for entire night and no one can separate them from her 😇 that's why it is special. I am known about this from my Aunt but when I am searching Google I found it too. My cousin sister also adopted and there is nothing any difference between biological child and adopted child. That's why this is special 🥰
@@promitapal9609 I remember the incident from when it happened. And indeed it is amazing. There can be no argument about it. But ever since they adopted the little angel not once I have come across any article or any interview where Mithun Chakraborty ever mentioned the incident explicitly. I think this speaks volumes and we should respect their privacy. Don't take this as an argument, all I am trying to do is try to understand the reason behind this from the family's point of view.

Lovely video. The man has lived a good life. Owning a property in a hill station like Ooty itself is a big achievement. He doesn’t even look his real age.
His first wife Helena Luke has played negative roles in the films Romance (1983) & Mard (1985). It’s good that Kishore kumar started singing for Mithun. Two of my favourites are from the film Boxer (1984) wherein he gave a great performance.
Helena also worked with Mithun in the movie "Bhayanak" but not as his heroine. A suspense thriller movie.

Mithun ji is a very good actor as well as a good human being. He struggled too much to be established in the film industry. I have met him in the filmalaya studio on the set of 'Ghar Jamai '.I have also struggled there for some years. We love Mithun Da. He can't be forgotten.
