Stelvio, your enthusiasm for the Adidas Adizero Adios 8 is absolutely captivating! Your review was incredibly informative, and it felt like I was right there, experiencing the shoes myself. It's clear that you had a fantastic time testing the new version, and it seems like a perfect choice for training and shorter races. Thank you for sharing such valuable insights. Keep up the amazing work, and I'm eagerly looking forward to your next review! Love your running footage, as always, mate! Best wishes!
Thanks for the review, Stelvio. My wife has a pair of the 8 coming so I will see them in person soon. I feel that I need to do more destruction to my second pair of 7 before I upgrade. I noticed yesterday after a track session that my second pair Adios 7 is starting to tear in exactly the same place as the first right along the underlay where the shoe naturally bends. This is at 90k rather than 40k but it’s otherwise exactly the same defect. I kept the original white pair to 400k with 3cm holes on both sides and each run we wondered if this time to top would just rip off but it never did. I think it is a design flaw specifically in my size 48 (because it doesn’t happen to my wife with much smaller shoes).
Thank you for watching Brian. Interesting, yes it might be due to the size. Also to me it never happen with 44. Quite weird, but it means then that you need to try the version 8 😊
Nothing as much fun as a light, speed day shoe! It seems like a loud shoe! 😂 That makes it easier to hear your cadence! Loving your deep dive into stats to evaluate shoes! Id like to see this shoe compared to the Saucony Speed 3!
Thank you Paul! Yes it is a bit louder than expected 😀like a sport car ;-) Actually I would like to test some Saucony shoes, in the past I was running with Saucony
I have run exclusively trail for the last ten years . I havent worn Adidas often as they tend ti be rather narrow for my feet bug recently have been using the Terrex speed ultra to good effect . I decided to enter a few local half road marathons as im in decent form and this Adios 8 called out to me as it looked wide for a road shoe and minimalist. It has worked out amazing for me and I am confident that I can snuggle into the first ten of the races I have coming up .
Good to hear that it worked out even in the HM. I believe it depends from the runner form, weight, performance and preferences, but definitely is a great shoe
Grande ,grazie 1000. What about the upper mesh ? Mesh of Adios 7 and Boston 11 was „grande casino” it got damaged after 170-220 km. I complained two pairs.
Grazie! 😊 I hope the upper of Adios 8 is not a "grande casino" as well. So far, after more than 150 km didn't have any issue luckily, but the upper mesh doesn't look so different than the B11 to be honest... So fingers crossed 🤞
Grazie Gio!
The fit is much better than in the B12 in my opinion. But please consider I like shoes which wrap the feet pretty well without leaving too much room for sliding
Thanks and welcome 😊 I did an easy run today morning around 10k, it is not the best shoe for it, but still It was not that bad.. for long run I would not suggest
No problem, I like to use the Boston 11 more than the 12 version, or the ASICS Novablast, and for a bit faster pace also the ASICS Evoride, it helps a lot for the heel to toe transition with its rocker in the forefoot

Hi Mihai, thank you so much, for your support and kindness as usual mate 😊👍 Keep running my friend!
That's a good-looking shoe and seems like a good value. I'll keep this one in mind for short road races. Thanks for recommending it!
Thank you Thomas for watching! Yes indeed it is a great shoe, especially for tempo run and intervals training. It doesn't allow to run easy 😊
Ottimo , un’analisi splendida, bravissimo Stelvio, buona giornata a te .
Grazieee 😊
Thanks for the review, Stelvio.

from the specs they look amazing, old school low stack height shoes vintage adidas, cannot wait to try them- great review as always!
Thank you so much! I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback 😊

When this shoe came up I thought you will love it.. Old school shoe. Good value for money and will last forever 👍🏻
yeah indeed, it is an amazing shoe! 😊👍

Ciao Stelvio. Ottima recensione ho le 6 dici che sono più 'morbide ' e in confronto con le Boston12 ?? al campo Vehid ancora ti aspetta

How is the fit? I find Takumi sen 9 to narrow for me and I sent it back. Adios Pro 3 great width. Boston 12 just OK. Adios 8 like Boston 12?
The fit is much better than in the B12 in my opinion. But please consider I like shoes which wrap the feet pretty well without leaving too much room for sliding
What will you suggest mr. stelvio adios 8 or Boston 11?
The Adios 8, because the B11 lasts few miles and then the upper breaks
Great review. New sub here. Can you do easy and long runs on this shoe?
Thanks and welcome 😊 I did an easy run today morning around 10k, it is not the best shoe for it, but still It was not that bad.. for long run I would not suggest
@@runningwithstelvio thanks for the reply. Can you recommend shoes for easy runs and long runs? I’m using hoka clifton 8 now and adios 7.

Bravissimo
grazieee 🤗
Which one you will prefer for 5 kilometre ? Adios 7 or Adios 8?
Adios 7 is firmer and more responsive in my opinion better for a 5km race
Lighstrike 2 is nearly the SAME as the original Lighstrike in the number you show? Is it really softer in real life?
it is softer than the Lightstrike. Actually more than the measurement with the durometer
Do you get any heel slippage
not really, quite good lockdown
I'm 999 ;)
Thanks and welcome 🙏😊
