Thanks for this detailed shoe comparison! It's great to see how the Boston 12 shines for long runs and slower paces, while the Adios 8 is more responsive for shorter distances. Your analysis really helps us make informed choices, Stelvio! Best wishes!
I've never used Stryd before, the metrics sound very detailed. Good job with the e-book Stelvio 👍 Very detailed comparison between the Boston & the Adios 👏
Thank you so much Martin, Stryd gives me lots of analytics to check where to improve, and also pretty useful for running indoor or in the treadmill. The new 3d visualization adds more insights about the running technique and the fatigue. Thanks for watching Martin!
Excellent comparison. I was actually wondering if I should switch to some old Adios 8's to do my speedwork instead of my Boston 12's. Since I can't run much faster than 6:30 per mile pace anymore the Boston's seem the best choice. Funny thing about the new Boston's, when I see the stack my brain thinks it should be as cushioned as the Adios Pro 3 but when running it actually feels more similar to the Adios 8. LOL
Many many thanks Andreas, it is good for motivation to read such comments. Till 6:30/mile I believe you are good with the B12. For faster and short distances, for instance 1k repeats, I would then use the Adios8. In general it is always a good practice to change shoes by time to time, it is better for the feet strength. Yes it is true, the B12 looks more cushioning than it actually is. 😊
I believe in general the Adios 8 causes more stress, and till 4'/km the B12 is better. But it could be seen as a benchmark for improving our conditions. If with the Adios 8 we track that the stress decreases, it means we are going in the right direction in terms of trainings.
Great chanel... I Hope more quality Adidas' reviews ....i use lightmotion in New SL Duramo and lightstrike in Speed and every day lightmotion seems better.... 😅
Hi Ryan, in comparison to the other Adidas shoes, B12 leaves more room in the forefoot, so I would not upsize rather I would downsize it half a size if you like tight forefoot
Hi Francisco, I can compare them with the TakumiSen8, i didn't take the 9 because I cannot run well in the Takumi. In the video comparison where I ran 5km with difference shoes, you can see how it is my landing with the Takumi 8 and why I didn't take the 9. Thank you for watching!
Stelvio hi! would you please give feedback about Boston 12 upper condition after 100 miles or so. you know that Boston 11 totally failed. they all are ripped after 100 miles. i had 2 pairs of Boston 11 and they so bad in terms of upper material durability. want to buy 12 but upper is my doubt now 🤔. tks!
Hi Olegwoo, the upper of B12 after 100miles is still in good conditions. I had the same issue with the B11, but after about 300 miles, so not sure if B12 will behave the same after 300 miles, let’s see … thanks for watching and commenting
It takes the body and brain a few minutes to get over the shock of how hard and how much more feel you get from the Adios 8.
That's true 😅

Thanks Mihai, you are always kind and supportive. I appreciate you like the comparison :-) Thanks for watching and commenting my friend! 😊👍🏃🏻♂️

Basically for 90 percent of the runs and 90 percent of the people Boston 12 is better. Stryd is amazing.
Not sure about that 😅, recently I met so many runners who definitely would not be in the 90 percent, I believe...
I bought Boston 12 and waiting for summer to test it.
Adios was very hard for my feet(

Really interesting comparison Stelvio! 👍😊
Thank you so much Enrico 😊🙏

Thank you so much. More to come, I'm curios to try the new lightmotion now 😊
Ottima analisi molto puntuale e dettagliata.
Grazie mille 🤗
Very interesting 🎉
Thank you for watching! 😊
Im using size 42 wide feet, should i upsize into 43 when im buying boston 12?

Can you compare them with Takumi sen 9. Thank you for your shoe reviews, keep it up!

B12 the most vague running shoes. us9 my usual size no matter which brand; but B12 us9 too wide and us 8,5 too stiff and short.
Yes I had the same issue with the size. A shoe which didn’t meet my expectations to be honest, in comparison the new SL2 is much better and cheaper
