This webinar focuses on CEPN's Toward Zero Exposure Program, a commitment program uniting companies throughout the electronics industry in a journey to protect workers from exposure to hazardous chemicals. There are five key commitment areas:
1) Eliminate exposures to priority chemicals
2) Collect data on use of process chemicals
3) Worker engagement and participation
4) Work with suppliers to reach deeper into tiers
5) Verification and annual reporting
6) Continuous improvement
The webinar also reviews a chemical safety training program developed under a grant from the Initiative for Global Solidarity that aims to provide accessible, deployment-ready trainings on chemical safety and management aimed at both educating workers and managers.
