- Sander from Bevo-Militaria.com shows you around the La Gleize militaria show in Belgium. He shows a few items for sale at his table such as a Fallschirmjäger jump smock, a Sniper shirt and field division smock all executed in Splittertarn material. He also covers some shovel holsters and the differences. He also shows the items he bought at the show, such as a rare NSDAP gladiator helmet, a few nice German camouflage helmets and a M36 army Feldbluse.
Great video Sander! Like all the close-ups Belgium is a beautiful country🇧🇪
Stunning items!! 😄👌
Sander this was a great video. I am astonished by the remarkable stuff you can find at the La Glieze show. The Gebirgsjager smock with pants is fantastic. I definitely want to make it to the La Glieze show. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome the 36 tunic with the personal items in the pockets..and the camouflage helmets..jewels!!
thanks!
That last m35 is a real gem, beautiful textured camouflage.
Man oh man... what are the odds of finding two completely different helmets with the SAME camo pattern. Hope whomever buys these knows the risk... dude is in it for the money, and his prices reflect that.
Both helmets came from the same lifetime collection, so they were found seperately over time.
Uitstekend video! Zoals gewoonlijk. Thanks for sharing.
I'm going cycling there in July - always stay in Houffalize .
Great video. I wish I was at that show. Sander, I really appreciate the way you explain little details about what to look for in the genuine article. Keep them coming!
Thanks!
Well done on another great video - love your explanations !
I live in the USA in California and I have been collecting since 1980 when I was just fifteen. Now its insane what I have. I do not try and buy cheap stuff or common items now. Love the items. Its amazing how prices differ from there to here. A British medal from Persia 1853 to an officer was only $300 and a Scinde medal 1843 was $200 at a show in Los Angeles in April, so I bought them both. But there are a lot of fake Germán stuff too. So prepare and study to see what is not fake and what is.
Don't take Sander's EU prices as reflective of true market value. Bevo company charges far too much above market value. If they have something you really really want... go for it. Otherwise most items can be found cheaper. Nothing respectable about his business practice whatsoever.
Bedankt ik kon dit jaar niet gaan. Bedankt voor je video. 🙏🏻👍🏻
Magnific video, Danke
Super!
Very nice items sander 👍
Thanks!
Those Camouflage painted helmets... You think that paint is 70+ years old..???
Yes
looks like 1960's spray paint.
scusa per il ritardo ma quella vernice è nuova
@terryadavis3458 Maybe, but I would expect more darkening of that oil based paint, because after 8 to 10 years, ALL oil based paint darkens/yellows to some degree. That is an unarguable fact.. The term is yellowing, it happens faster in an environment without sun exposure. So the whole "it sat in a box for 40 years" excuse never works and I have heard it a few times. This area of collecting has been a minefield of well done fakes and repaints for decades. Not saying those are fakes, but looks like someone may have "cleaned" the shells, it's been known to be done.
That and the "Decal" Miners ruin good shells all the time.
I don’t doubt it but I can’t see how you verify the camo helmets ?
It's all about experience and holding and studying many original examples, patterns etc.
@@bevo-militariaoriginalww1w976 like I say I’m sure u can tell
Ik heb ook een kleine verzameling en ben blij dat ik redelijk vroeg begonnen ben.
De prijzen worden me te krankzinnig.
700 Euro voor een shovel cover!!! Man.
Uniforms can be suspected of being movie wardrobe dept. of 50 years ago..that's a problem in the collectors mkt.
Your LW Normandy camo was used by an RAD guy. "Am" is short for Arbeitsmann
Thanks!
NSDAP guard helmet... that's funny
Why is that funny?
„Äh“ „Äm“ sorry but this makes me crazy
Fantastic video Sander how about I give you 95 euros for the Y straps just so you make a profit!😂😂
Haha! :D
