Sander, great video! Thank you for focusing on helmets and uniforms at the show rather than daggers (like so many others). It was great to see your interview with George Petersen. He has been in the hobby just as long as Wittmann and Shea, but he doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. I bought my favorite Gebirgsjager tunic from him a couple of years ago.
Jim Kreunen of Militaria Plaza seems like a good guy. Any dealer who takes genuine, quality time and consideration engaging in each customers inquiries to the extent practical for them, and not solely on how quick they can sell stuff, is very commendable in my book. You as well Sander. But its certainly not all these dealers
Hi thats great u got 3 para helmets ! The one para helmet u got from collector that he had it for 30 years ago i almost got that same helmet from him and it was alot of money back then crazy how collecting goes . Great scores congratulations again good show !
I was born in 1949 and there was a lot of stuff around that was surplus from the war. As a kid in the 1950's you didn't have a sense of the war being a big historic event because it was just part of the stuff your Dad had in the basement There were big warehouses called the Army Navy Surplus store that had new unused stuff from the war. My Dad would go down there and it was really cool as a kid to look at all the stuff. When I was in by early twenties I read the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich and have been interest for the rest of my life. I can't believe how expense those helmets are as that stuff was everywhere for nothing at junk stores and theft store. Really love seeing this stuff as the that part of human history is a low water mark of human behavior we are still unable to get our minds around. I'd love to have just one of those things.
Wonderful Interviews! Show too! Thanks, Sir 🤗💕me! Always looking for Chinese WW2, Big Broadswords (Da darn do) they were mass produced! Had one! My niece stole it! P.S.! Great Finds 😬
Absolutely incredible!!😮 That's certainly one of the best lot of acquisitions thus far IMO, really the whole video is great. Talk about "the rarest of the rare"! Wow.. literally just one after the other.. and then you pull out the SS sports tank top! I thought it couldn't be much better than that but black long sleeve sports shirt with it!!? Just stunning.. and the SS oak leaf camo too😮❤❤❤❤❤ well done my friend. -Dean

I well remember a German friend describing how he went over the recently opened East German border and met a young 'Osti' who tried to sell him - amongst other things - an AK47 still in factory grease, an NVA 'jeep' and finally, a dozen unissued M1944 SS camo uniforms which he had in a garage amongst other 3rd Reich uniforms. My friend didn't want any of this stuff but I was horrified at him turning down the SS uniforms but then again he knew nothing of how desirable and valuable such things are and wanted nothing to do with 3rd Reich items.
I went looking for an honest original M40 or 42 SD Army and couldn’t find anything. The one I went to buy the guy sold it waiting in line to setup an hour before my arrival. 😢😢 It was named with full liner and strap.
Sander, great helmets for sure. ive collected german helmets for 30 years, i know real helmets and these are great original helmets. the luft transitional is almost too nice but looks original. the para helmets are fantastic. i dont have one of those. just never lucky to find one from a vet. ive been using the black light for 30 years to tell real helmet decal from fake. im sure you do this as well. course most are obvious i still use the black light. hope you do as well
some amazing stands this is one of the biggest fares in the states right?those helmets looks o new are they taken from the factories as it dont show any age.but i be like a kid in a candy hop seeing these items
To be honest, this old historical artifacts pieces wich they are, shouldn’t not be touched or wiped longer again without white soft gloves. Just placed under a glass cube as Art and just to enjoy 😍

That S.S. Doughnut at 7:38 is super rare!
Never seen anything even approaching the quantity and quality of kit in any show or any outlet of any kind here in Australia. Quite incredible.

3 mint Fallschirmjäger helmets from a pawn shop in Florida, are you sure they are the real deal?
One helmet, not all three...

How well do you know the 101st and 82nd patches? There are alot of different versions out there not to mention alot of fake ww2 patches.
If only I had a spare kidney..
I see prices have gone up
Indeed they have. But so have houses and just simple groceries.

I want a kregsmarine flag ! For my boat!
How much do you think the German government paid for the complete SS uniform? From the manufacturer?

So he never paid taxes? That’s a NO NO in USA admitting your a loan shark! The FBI might be seeing him!
