Having followed Ange through good portions of his career I'm quietly confident he will turn this around... he is good with youth players, knows how to bring them on. As long as he has the backing, success will follow.. just needs a bit of patience.
One of our biggest downfalls are set pieces. Defending them and attacking them! Most of these games we’ve lost would be won or at least drawn if we didn’t concede silly goals from corners. When we are pressing high and winning corners we never score from them. Look at arsenal and they score nearly every other game from a corner. Once we get a set piece coach in I think we’d look more stable and convincing but it’s so infuriating the way ange won’t change that

I want Ange to succeed. I detest our hard core away fans abusing our Manager, but can understand their/our anger and frustration. I am not asking Ange to change his way of playing, but every football match is different and you have to be be adaptable. Against Roma we were 2-1 up and had 5 minutes to play of injury time. You are not changing your ideals by saying in these last 5 minutes just clear the ball, see the game out, slow the game down and break up the play, but Ange doesn’t do this. Also set pieces, attacking and defending are crucial a part of modern football. He got it exactly right against Man.City, the defence played a little deeper and defended properly, our one touch passing was spot on, our pace and pressing too and our finishing was clinical, but does he stick with that formula…no. Our central defenders are all out with hamstring injuries because they have to sprint back half the length of the pitch to cover. Most importantly our attitude and mentality against the mid/lower league clubs is a massive problem. Ange always says it’s down to me to fix it, but I can’t see any evidence of that happening. Against Leicester and Newcastle we played well and lost, now we are not playing well. I want to be entertained but first and foremost I want effort from our players and I want us to win. I hope he can turn this around when all the players are fit again and we get some quality ones in the January window, but once the home Fans start turning on Levy then Ange will be gone and he will have nobody to blame but himself and his stubbornness not to tweak/adjust/ adapt. Those supporters call themselves the yid army and have the club practically begging them to stop the association. They need to be banned for bringing the game into disrepute. If what bentancur said warrants a 7 week ban these fans deserve lifetime rejection

The fact the squad is not set up to play a high intensity game across multiple competitions, is the very reason Ange needs to compromise on his system. We need to be more pragmatic and be harder to beat, whilst saving energy, at least until the injured players start coming back. Either way we should see the season out and see where we’re at then.

TRUE fans….always back their team as a whole and the players that cross the white line each game. Yes injuries and no quality to cover those, in fact Chelsea had the best transfer window and they do have an A team & B team....and probably a C team too! Sustained success is a marathon to create. When you're starting from where Spurs are, it's an ultra marathon. If Levy is even thinking about sacking Ange until the end of the 2025/26 season then the dog will return to its vomit.
