Thanks Doug, I appreciate the simplicity of your videos. As a gigging musician who plays in cover bands, you have helped me immensely over the last few months with my TMP. I'm coming from the Fractal universe. TMP is so much easier to program and use live. The One Preset Method with scenes and footswitches might be OK for some, but I need more versatility for what I do because I play a lot of cover tunes. So I use a setup that goes like this: Setlist/Song/Presets/Scenes and Footswitches. I just page through the songs and voila! I have different rigs for each song. I did a few live shows and now I can focus on the music using this method because everything I need is in logical order of the set. I highly recommend using the Setlist/Song/Preset/Scene and Footswitch assign method for playing live. Maybe you could do a video on this topic? This would really help those who play in bands. Again, thank you, you are doing a great service.
Thank you Doug, greatly appreciated! What I understand from "scenes" is, it effectively replaced "Switch Link" option since just like it, no 2 scenes can be active at the same time. And it is much more user friendly to set up and save. Setting up switch link correctly was really difficult, I messed it up more often that what I hoped it would.
Hello Doug for exemple I have a Scene delay and a scène chorus when I switch one It switch off thé other …but if i want to,add thé delay scène to thé chorus scène ,how do you do that?can sec sélect too,scènes together?
Hello, thanks a lot for your videos about the Tone Master Pro. Have you tried the Diatonic Shifter? I would like to set up a twin guitars sound but despite setting the correct scale the result is different from what I expected. Hope someone explains this one day because I can’t find anything searching the web.
Hi Doug...Thank you for putting these videos together about the Tone Master Pro update, specifically for the scenes function! Did I hear you mention Fender also updated the user manual? The only one I can find is the original which has no mention of scenes.
Hello Doug I dont ubderstand I have to save thé preset rachitisme …exemple Delay tyen save chorus then save …you donne fi that on your vidéo.how vole ?I must do something wrong
Like all of you, I'm excited about the new scenes. But there's one thing that bothers me. I've programmed a preset so that only scenes can be switched in the bottom row and individual effects can be switched on and off in the top row. If I now switch on an additional effect in a scene, it unfortunately remains. This means that if I briefly switch to another scene and come back, the change remains and not the originally saved scene. I had hoped that turning off Scene Edit would fix this - but unfortunately not.
This is normal. In essence you temporarily 'added' that effect to the scene when you activated it. If you switch to a different preset and then come back, that effect won't be active in that scene. Your best option is to add another scene with that effect active.
@@DougBsDigitalDen thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, this is not very efficient if you want to have one or the other effect available for spontaneous use. With other manufacturers, this option is a given. ...but the next update is sure to come ;-)
Doug, thank you so much. You have no idea how much I appreciate your time and effort in doing this content.
I appreciate that!

Another great vid Doug - Thank you 👍
You're very welcome.

Yes, Scenes are a lot easier to set up and use compared to Switch Links.
@@DougBsDigitalDenI wonder what cool ways we can combine switch links with scenes.
Thanks Doug! The scenes are a game changer! Glad I got the TMP!
You're very welcome, I'm glad it's working out for you!
Great video! It would be nice to check how to use setlist, songs and scenes all together.
absolutely yes
Great suggestion!
Thanks great stuff

You can only have 1 Scene active at a time. You would need to create another Scene that has delay and chorus.
@ ok thanks that s what I,thought
Great vid
Thanks! 👍

Hi Doug! have you done any TMP videos for the CCR sound. Like Born on the Bayou?
Not yet! But I'll add it to the list, thanks 👍

You didn't touch the elephant in the room, which is the Scenes Edit button, that doesn't work as we were expecting...
Not sure what you mean. How were you expecting Scene Edit to work?
When we hear you, is this USB to DAW?
Yes. I record my parts live to Logic when I make the video, then export my parts as a WAV file that I add to my video when I'm editing.
