    Hey Kent, bit late to the video but I'll throw in my 2 cents:
    Regarding the departure, if you went straight-out from Runway 03 it would put you right on top of a busy air force base just north of the city so the AVNEX THREE departure takes you out and turns you left then north along the coast to avoid it :)
    I fly around Perth regularly and the airspace is an absolute mess. There are 3 airports: Perth, Jandakot (GA), and Pearce (the air force base) and all their airspaces overlap so you have to squeeze through tiny corridors just to get in and out. It can get quite hectic early in the morning when all the regional flights head out to the mining towns.
    Love the video though, the ATR-72 is a true beauty. Keep up the great work! :)

      I love you already. Thank you so much for the comments and the interesting bit of information. That is so crazy! When I get time, I will try to do a flight pattern following the suggested route that you mentioned. I love to try to keep things as realistic as possible. Thanks for taking the time out to share that. I greatly appreciate it and I am so glad you enjoy the channel.

    Hi Kent, again another fantastic video mate, and your last attempt at pronouncing Geraldton was close enough lol. With the exception of the replay which seriously didn’t do you any credit, that was a pretty decent landing. 😁👍 Also sent you a PM.

      Merlin 1972 Thanks so much. I’m not sure what the deal was in that replay. It normally doesn’t behave that way. I think I needed a reboot but would have lost the replay so I just rolled with it. Thanks again for the comments!

    Great videos Kent, and very much appreciated. I bought the aircraft based on you review and love it, although having a rough time with the AP being out of sync with my Saitek gear, although that could be me. look forward to your tutorial videos. Any chance of an ILS approach tutorial video

      Thank you so much. Yes. I will be doing an ILS approach video as well. Look for the Autopilot and ILS system very soon!

      @@Physics70 Cheers Kent. You are the only guy putting about quality videos for this aircraft. Thanks again

    You have really fallen for this Aircraft :). I just saw new previews on the Milviz version, apparently VNAV is only advisory on that one. I hated that with the Aerosoft CRJ, it's a nightmare to land in bad weather. I was a bit surprised to see that the Avro 70 had autoland, is this game or does it have it in real life? If someone knows.

    Why pushback though? ATR can reverse on its own.

      @Physics70  4 роки тому

      Persojet Well, so can any plane with reversers. I just like the pushback process.

      @@Physics70 I would imagine using reverse on jets might break something but I see ATRs daily backing away from terminal. But if you like the pushback, does it really matter 👍

      @@Persojet Don't get me wrong. I appreciate the information. Honestly, I was not aware of this as a regular practice. I might incorporate it in one of my videos. Thank you for the comment.
