After "thirty minute wait" would a semi-colon have been an equally good choice as the comma?

Yeah I think so, after a certain point I think it comes down to writer choice rather than a question of right or wrong and by using the semi colon you demonstrate a wider knowledge of punctuation 😀

Hi, yes I think they have the same basic requirements but for some specifics in regards to the exam I would go on he website and look at the pass papers but the skills are similar

Do you have any recommendations for taking the Writing Level 1 exam?

I would look at some of my videos on this, as well as check out Write on resources but if I was to break them down in a nutshell, I would say the writing comes down to your ability to adapt your writing for audience and purpose and reading is mostly making sure you don't get confused by the reading of the questions and using correct skimming and scanning techniques to retrieve appropriate information, if that helps?

Yeah I think so, just a typo I'm dyslexic and I always make a mistake with minute the content is still valid though just with alot of text there's always going to be at least one error with me, thankfully in most exams they would overlook one or two minor mistakes

Wow that sounds good, the one I'm talking about is for Edexcel, the timings may be different for different specs but the skills are very similar and based on the same concepts, I hope it goes well 😀
