The water leak is sorted. The oil cooler has started leaking again from the same gasket. So I need to investigate that again

No, unfortunately the gearbox turned itself into a box of swarf so that van is in the scrapyard in the sky!
@@Wilko159 oh no! Sorry about that. Is that a thing that Crafter gearboxes do? Have there been any signs that could have helped you..or possibly me with a 2008 2E van with 400K Km's..? 😁
It was very noisy, I was planning on dropping the gearbox once I got home. I just pushed my luck too far

I've looked but not seen any water leaking from the water pump
