What type of metal did you use in the repair? like a spring steel or just some aluminum from a soda can? Also ill probably design a 3D printable part to fix the issue soon as i go to do this fix. Ill post a video on the 3d part when i get it designed

I just wish they had some software on the pc I could use to remap the buttons. That way I could make my L2 one of the paddles because I also need L1 so I can’t just flip them 🤦 maybe I could just flip l2 with a dpad button and use that as L2 and map it too a paddle

Just fixed same issue, but after dissasembly it doesnt turn on, has a life, blinks when charging, but dont event turn on 🥲🥲🥲

I've got a similar electrical issue with my touareg, ive had the wet carpets out too but couldn't see any broken wires, I also had the scuttle panel full of water, ive sorted the water problem out and sealed up where it gets in so I'm going to go back over every wire in that loom! Ha ha ive got a UA-cam channel too, check out our off roading video and you'll see how much trouble this caused ha ha transformotion vehicle rebuilds, the thumb nail is a cherokee sport, ill let you know if I sort the problem!

I used your video as a guide to open up the scuf since I had never opened it. Same issue, L2 wouldn’t click. I folded aluminum foil into a super condense small piece then added it with super glue right under the plastic your showed that pressed down without taking out the whole trigger as I was too scared to go that far and it worked! .30 cent fix. I put it up back together and the options button was stuck and L2 wouldn’t aim but once I re-opened it I realized a white cable with the black line was connected next to the trigger so I placed it in and my remote is like new. Thank you for the video!

Do L2 and R2 pop out the same as L1 and R1? Just had L2 start disengaging intermittently and hoping to just pop it off to take a look rather than disassemble the whole thing

I had been using a bluetooth lavalier one that I got on youtube, but just got a new iPhone so need to upgrade it due to now needing a USBC connector. Would you be able to tell me, is there a drawback to getting a bluetooth USBC connector lvalier mic, instead of the jack plug in you have? I was looking at SubZero Wireless Lavalier Mic with USB-C and Lightning Connections from Gear for Music. Also, in general do I need to get a Rhode system if I get a bluetooth lavalier mic, i,e do I need to get the RØDELink Wireless System anyways, or would it make the quality better if I get the bluetooth mic? Sorry if this is obvious, just struggling to find an answer online and you have obviously bought from the same site I am looking at. Thanks so much!

You’re the man followed the video step by step didn’t forget the screw under the battery it was my L2 that needed fixed did exactly as you did reinforced it with a little metal piece works great now without you I wouldn’t have been able to get the dam thing apart and woulda bought another $200 controller

Great video. My Reflex FPS is 1.5 years old and r2 stopped working. Exact issue shown here. I fixed that, but when i went to put it back together i realized one of the tiny yellow wires came loose from the small boards on the side. I decided to try and re-solder it (never done that before) and after some tinkering finally got it to work. Put everything back together and works beautifully! Thanks for the video good stuff!!!

Hey Wilko, See if you can help me. I have a 2004 L322 V8 4.4 in my workshop and I've been going around circuits for many months trying to solve a problem I've never seen before. For you to have an idea, I already changed the suspension ECU, the steering angle sensor, revised the valve block, checked grounding and much more. None of that solved the problem. The suspension goes crazy on its own ... it raises the rear right too much at another moment, lowers the front, it's crazy. I imported software from RSW and even with it I can't come to a conclusion. When RSW indicates an error code, it does not report the fault cold. WoW!!!! I'm running out of hair.

The overheating is clearly a design flaw and has little to do with dust. It's a shame Dyson don't take care of it.

You forgot to show reconnecting the cable to the latch of interior door handle. Otherwise you can't open the door from inside
