I had one of these I bought back in 2016 new. I then sold it when I got a job that provided me free motorcycles to ride. Now, I am at a new job and immediately got one again. I love it. I forgot just how very good it was and it is simply the perfect bike for me. Picked it up from a Powerhouse for $5.5k and under 7k miles. Highly recommend.
I also have a VFR1200F. If you want a Honda V4 with that feeling of excitement, it's an amazing machine. Still super comfortable for short and medium range rides, also.
I really regret selling mine. It was a beautiful bike, I had many people coming up to me and saying how great the bike looked. I have to go back and watch my videos on that bike. 😢😢
I test rode one not long after they came out. Its really a unique motorcycle. Nothing else compares. I really wanted one, but I'm concerned about parts availability with only one year model out there. Plastic is 10 years old on them now. There's one local to me for sale for 4k with 17k miles. I might have to give it another look.
I HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING THIS BIKE. I THINK I GOING TO PULL THE TRIGGER. UNREAL BIKE FOR THE PRICE. HONDA RELIABILITY AS WELL. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO. QUESTON.... SINCE THEY MADE IT ONE YEAR IS IT HARD TO FIND PARTS FOR THIS BIKE?
@@MidgetMoto Be sure the 2016 through 2020 had the transmission recall performed. The 2nd gear (6 speed trans.) was prone to failure. I have a 2015 ES which was the last year of the 5 speed. I absolutely love this bike and do not think any ST bike can compete overall. You can acquire a 1st or 2nd gen for a song but, with me now retired, I prefer the refinement of fairing air flow and cruise control, etc. as a must.
How heavy it is? I am 5 feet 10 and 175 lbs. do u recommned? Im getting a very good deal about 8000 canadian dollar for a low milage one here in Canada
I'm 5'6" and have the 2014 1300 Deluxe. To me it's heavy (like a tank) when moving it around the garage. Or on and off the centerstand. Get out on the road and it's very nimble.
Have you ever heard of this bike before?
I’ve had mine for a few years, got it with 2k on it. I love it. Comfortable and fun to ride.

I do love the looks.
I owned this bike now and so far I love it. I haven’t driven this bike on a long trip yet but I will.
Nice to hear!
Enjoyed the video. Great looking cruiser.
Thanks!
I like it, 😃too bad Honda don`t build them anymore. Cheers!!!
Thanks!
I just found a 2014 CTX1300 for 4k with only 11k miles, I'm really thinking about picking it up.
Nice!
This is the only bike I’d consider trading for. I currently ride CTX 700. This is just a bigger, faster, but heavier version.
I have not ridden the 700 yet but plan to soon!
I just picked one up with only 1408 miles on it. I wish there were better options for a rear trunk with a back rest rather than just a pad

That sounds like a good price!
I’ve had issues getting parts for mine😂. You weren’t wrong.
How would you compare this bike to the Verseys 650? I am 6'02" 240. Do you think one is better in most categories overall?
It’s not as fun. But more comfortable. More storage. Nimble. No aftermarket for this. Tons of aftermarket for the versys.
@@MidgetMoto Ok, thanks for the quick response!

I have not had to buy any parts but I can imagine it would be!
niceee
Maybe that excitement factor in a similar configuration of a sport touring bike would have to be a Yamaha FJR 1300.
I think it’s a good option, need to get my hands on one.

@@leonardharview4577 I recently rode the new 2024 Kawasaki 1000SX and that was a great ride! Video coming soon!

750 pound. Does it feel like 750? No. It’s well balanced while idle and feels super light when riding.

Personally- I would want my bike to be exciting, even if it were a cruiser style.
Good Point!
Mini goldwing
Basically!
saw one of them in the wild today it is still a bad looking bike as it always has been. why would someone want one of these trash bikesa?
Good question!
