Im from Australia and I got a 2011 Toyota hilux 4.0L 1GR-FE, 5 speed manual, single cab Ute, alloy tray and it’s quick for a V6 It’ll beat S commodore’s and xr6’s LSD in the ass end heaps of fun in the wet 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Hello from NZ 👋 great video 👍 I've owned a gt4.0 soarer 1uzfe so I'm Abit bias on the 2uzfe but agree with all the other and Yes! The 2jzgte is by far the most iconic engine Toyota and Yamaha ever produced and I've owned all-sorts of Toyotas and groomed the sensational RZ supra as a young fulla 😍 The heavens sent Yamaha to Toyota and together they made magic ✨
1FZFE came with bad headgaskets from design of the material. Most blow them around 200k. Once you do the HG job with a modern gasket it is very reliable.
I’m not surprised to hear how good the Engine used in the 1st & 2nd Gen Hybrid Synergy Drive propulsion system. I have a 13 year old Prius that’s still running like it’s brand new - and that’s with 136,800+ miles on the clock…🥰
Lol Toyota has the same engine put in all or most cars truck. Tacoma t100 1995 to 2016 2.4 2.7 , 2005 + toyota changed cylinder heads chain balancer & scion had 2.4 2.5 on most sports cars ct xb . same parts are interchangeable . Toyota parts like coil packs are all da same
No one talks about the 1mz-fe
Most, if not all, of Toyota’s truck engines are stupidly reliable and bulletproof.

I’m surprised that 2GR series isn’t on here.
Yep! Given that MANY of their vehicles (including Lexus) have this engine!

I wish you had mentioned the 22RE turbo variant, as I would love to learn more about the rare Version or one of the most famous motor of all time
It was discontinued after one year, because the engine wasnt designed to work with a turbo
4AGE WOW a 20 valve 4 cylinder?!? That's crazy 🎉🎉💯💪🥵
Is it true land cruiser 70 series use 4.0 V6?
How good is the v8 used on toyota sequoia 2001 to 2007?
Not to be a dick but I chuckled at “Yamahaha” 😂
All toyotas are bulletproof.i own a small starlet 1996 4efe engine and clocks 402.000 with no problem so far
