Making Meadow Hay in July 2023 - IS THE WEATHER GOOD ENOUGH?!

We're having a crack at making some small bale hay in one of the catchiest July's I've known for a while. 3 days of turning grass, and help from some friends, did we get it all in before the storms?

Brilliant video you keep your machinery in very good condition we have a ford 7610 with the same cab as your 4610 plus we have a JD 342 baler 👍

Looks good. Picking up was labor intensive though. My wife and I can bale 1500 bales and put into barn in a day with an old NH bale stacker.

Lovely kit u got,i use a jd 456baler and a 1976 jd 2130 loader doing small paddock like you.

I recall the Flat 8 system, only issue with such & small bales was that at some point manual labour was needed

I probably will one day, but for the acreage I cover it's not worth the extra cost - The Lisicki drum mower came up at an auction as new old stock so was a good price!

That's 1 good raker,what model MF and HP you got.is that a DB on the bale trailer.

Massey 5711, 110hp. And yep, my neighbours DB 950 on the trailer
