The choreography is also pretty nice for that one too.😁 Vocally they’re all pretty strong but JB, Youngjae and Jackson especially have voices you don’t really hear that much of in kpop. You should watch their Never Ever performance in kcon japan 2017 and their SBS Gayo Daejeon 2019 performance (Page was epic). Got7 doesn’t do that many flips nowadays cause it is dangerous and the boys have gotten hurt quite a bit in the past cause of it. But they still do it once in a while or just do simpler jumps/tricks that aren’t that dangerous compared to full on flips. But early days they did it a lot like in ‘girls girls girls’ , ‘just right’, ‘a’. Now tricks/flips might not be on the choreos of their recent songs but they usually do them on remixes or have a dance breaks in their performances for gayo stages and award shows.
If you want to see more flip and acrobatic stunts, you should react to Girls Girls Girls dance practice #2. It was their debut song. Oh and their I Like You dance practice 😊

Most Ahgase (The fandom name) agree that GOT7 really suit the RnB type songs, especially Jaebeom (Long haired one in NBTM) If you love tricking being incorporated in the choreo please look at their debut single "Girls Girls Girls".
I was sure you'd find at least one song of theirs close to your taste, they always change concepts. If you check the songs closer to their debut, you'll get how beautifully their sound has matured along with them!
YES to more GOT7 reactions! They really deserve it since most reactors end up just liking them for being funny when they easily have one of the best discographies. All very well-rounded performers also. And Jeff liking JJ Project makes me so happy, it's a short career but a very good coming-of-age jump. EDIT: Bambam (the guy with the turtleneck) actually had a hard time following Jackson's part. And like a lot of comments said, GOT7 used to do more tricks back in their debut days because they were meant to be a hip-hop inspired group. As they grew out of that concept and injuries were a bit more susceptible, they don't do it much now.
Trust me got7 does way more flips in tricks, Two members - Jackson and Mark mainly do the Martial arts tricking thing while JB is a ex b-boy so he also sometimes here and there drop some flips too.
Tbh GOT7 has been wanting to change their sound for a while now. If you listen to the rest of the tracks in the last couple of albums you'll notice the sound changing quite a lot from the title tracks and that's because JYPE isn't allowing them to choose the title tracks they actually enjoy performing. JB is a great composer-producer and his songs get rejected a lot, even though Page (a b-side from the Eclipse era JB composed) was literally the fan favorite and we were all confused as to why it wasn't the title track. GOT7 would be so much more popular if JYPE just let them do what they want, it's a shame.

Just a quick info, JJproject ( Jb and Jinyoung) was formed 2009 and debuted 2012 with the song bounce. After that they already debuted in 2014 with 5 more members which are Mark Jackson youngjae bambam and yugyeom. JJproject had a 5th yr anniv comeback last 2017 with the song "Tomorrow Today" as their title track in the verse 2 album WHICH IS WITHOUT EXAGGERATION STILL GOLDEN UP TO NOW. So fast forward 2019 Jb and Yugyeom formed another unit like jjp and called themselves Jus2. Calling My Name is such a great song everyone loves it because it's a little different from what we normally get in a K-pop boygroups' songs. As a GOT7 fan myself I agree GOT7 as a group is not that synchronised when they dance (they used to be VERY synchronised though at the very beginning). If you decide to do more reactions of GOT7, I'd suggest you watch their earlier songs (all the acrobatic moves were from that era) like Girls, Girls, Girls (their debut song back in 2014) , A, Just Right (one of the most iconic K-pop songs of the 3rd generation) and If You Do, and I personally highly recommend you check out JUS2 (their sub-unit)'s 'Focus on Me' - I reckon you'll like the song and the choreo is sooo cool as well. ps. Yugyeom, one of GOT7's members, also participated in the last two episodes of Hit the Stage. He was 2nd for his first performance and he won on the last episode. Please check him out as well. He is GOT7's main dancer and has such a unique way of dancing.

Former GOT7 performances incorporated martial arts tricks, just like their older brother group 2PM, who usually incorporated acrobatics in their choreographies. 😁 You can check 2PM as well. Their choreographies are really cool as well. Like their Japanese's MV for Beautiful and I'm Your Man 😁
Got7 made a very diverse kind of music. The downside of that, you might not like all of their songs, but on the other hand, everyone will find at least a song that they like from Got7. You will know their individual preference if you listen to their Soundcloud. I feel that Jus2 songs were very JB and Yugyeom, but other than that, Got7 discography really varies. Thank you for giving them another chance! I honestly don't have another song recommendation that is similar to this because I feel this song is just very unique compared to other K-Pop songs period. But, I can recommend my personal favorite: You Are. Thank you again!

The song that I love very much and was fascinated by the MV is 'Focus on me' by Jus2 (Yugyeom and JB from Got7). For me this song is a masterpiece as well as the choreo and the mv. Everything about it was perfect to me.

First: thank you for giving them a second chance!! I personally LOVE Not By The Moon, though I’m also biased because it was my first comeback with them, but I can definitely see where it might not be appealing to people just because like you said, different tastes and all. :P I feel like that’s an important sentence to bring up, because sometimes people forget that not liking a song does not mean you hate the guys or the group, just that you weren’t vibing with that song and that’s ok! Also I’m glad you said that because it feels like sometimes reactors often don’t when they’re not vibing with a song but put up a front anyways, and it’s refreshing to see you be so honest about it. As for the choreo in the dance practice, YES TO ALL OF THIS. I actually remember hearing that a lot of knetizens slammed this choreo and called it “lazy” because it wasn’t as flashy as other groups, despite it being quite intricate and complex with all the little details in the movements like you pointed out. Tbh it’s honestly still one of my favorite choreographies of theirs because of those details and like you said, the journey of the choreo and the way it had dynamics and variety in the way it was structured. :’) As for the chorus not being western, I politely disagree just because if you listen to what the instruments are doing in that part, as well as a lot of the harmonic choices made throughout the song they are clearly drawing from funk and soul (especially the rhythms the guitar is playing in the chorus). Listen Jeff... let me tell you something about Got7. To be really honest, I didn't start liking their music until recently but they're SUCH a good group. They're one of the groups in kpop that are mostly known for their personality more than their music but they are truly iconic. Their vocalists? Top class. Even the rappers sing well and the range of their voices is just so pleasant to listen to. I really do hope you check out more from them.

Most Ahgase (The fandom name) agree that GOT7 really suit the RnB type songs, especially Jaebeom (Long haired one in NBTM) If you love tricking being incorporated in the choreo please look at their debut single "Girls Girls Girls".
I was sure you'd find at least one song of theirs close to your taste, they always change concepts. If you check the songs closer to their debut, you'll get how beautifully their sound has matured along with them!

They really deserve it since most reactors end up just liking them for being funny when they easily have one of the best discographies. All very well-rounded performers also.
And Jeff liking JJ Project makes me so happy, it's a short career but a very good coming-of-age jump.
EDIT: Bambam (the guy with the turtleneck) actually had a hard time following Jackson's part. And like a lot of comments said, GOT7 used to do more tricks back in their debut days because they were meant to be a hip-hop inspired group. As they grew out of that concept and injuries were a bit more susceptible, they don't do it much now.
Trust me got7 does way more flips in tricks, Two members - Jackson and Mark mainly do the Martial arts tricking thing while JB is a ex b-boy so he also sometimes here and there drop some flips too.
Tbh GOT7 has been wanting to change their sound for a while now. If you listen to the rest of the tracks in the last couple of albums you'll notice the sound changing quite a lot from the title tracks and that's because JYPE isn't allowing them to choose the title tracks they actually enjoy performing. JB is a great composer-producer and his songs get rejected a lot, even though Page (a b-side from the Eclipse era JB composed) was literally the fan favorite and we were all confused as to why it wasn't the title track. GOT7 would be so much more popular if JYPE just let them do what they want, it's a shame.

9:10 Bambam - one of the rappers, also known as Crazy Bam, loves to dab, a literal meme god
9:18 Yugyeom - youngest of the group, aka Giant Maknae, literal dancing machine, placed first on Hit the Stage
9:25 Jinyoung - beautiful vocals and face, loves to bully his members, especially Yugyeom
9:51 Youngjae - amazing and strong vocals, deserves a solo album, his laugh is contagious and is vitamin sunshine
10:07 Jackson - husky voice rapper, his solo songs are fabulous, the literal definition of extrovert
10:25 Mark - oldest and quietest member, his live rapping will wreck you, is a big gamer boy, also known as the LA gangster

Just a quick info,
JJproject ( Jb and Jinyoung) was formed 2009 and debuted 2012 with the song bounce. After that they already debuted in 2014 with 5 more members which are Mark Jackson youngjae bambam and yugyeom. JJproject had a 5th yr anniv comeback last 2017 with the song "Tomorrow Today" as their title track in the verse 2 album WHICH IS WITHOUT EXAGGERATION STILL GOLDEN UP TO NOW. So fast forward 2019 Jb and Yugyeom formed another unit like jjp and called themselves Jus2. If JJP's Tomorrow today is more like pop rock soul genre, Jus2 is leaning towards R&B and soul and more of showcasing their dance in their song "Focus on me"
The Mv is very minimilastically aesthetic with a futuristic concept.

About the jumps and flips: you can especially see those in their earlier releases, Jackson and Marc do most of the martial arts inspired moves. thank you Jeff for another GOT7 reaction! I just rewatched your reaction to Not By the Moon only yesterday. Calling My Name is such a great song everyone loves it because it's a little different from what we normally get in a K-pop boygroups' songs. As a GOT7 fan myself I agree GOT7 as a group is not that synchronised when they dance (they used to be VERY synchronised though at the very beginning).
If you decide to do more reactions of GOT7, I'd suggest you watch their earlier songs (all the acrobatic moves were from that era) like Girls, Girls, Girls (their debut song back in 2014) , A, Just Right (one of the most iconic K-pop songs of the 3rd generation) and If You Do, and I personally highly recommend you check out JUS2 (their sub-unit)'s 'Focus on Me' - I reckon you'll like the song and the choreo is sooo cool as well.
ps. Yugyeom, one of GOT7's members, also participated in the last two episodes of Hit the Stage. He was 2nd for his first performance and he won on the last episode. Please check him out as well. He is GOT7's main dancer and has such a unique way of dancing.

I appreciate that you are honest about your opinions about the artists. Im an ahgase but i gotta admit that not every comeback is my cup of tea and they sometimes have synchronization problems. I like the insights and not just overhyped but fake reactions.
Former GOT7 performances incorporated martial arts tricks, just like their older brother group 2PM, who usually incorporated acrobatics in their choreographies. 😁 You can check 2PM as well. Their choreographies are really cool as well. Like their Japanese's MV for Beautiful and I'm Your Man 😁

Got7 made a very diverse kind of music. The downside of that, you might not like all of their songs, but on the other hand, everyone will find at least a song that they like from Got7. You will know their individual preference if you listen to their Soundcloud. I feel that Jus2 songs were very JB and Yugyeom, but other than that, Got7 discography really varies. Thank you for giving them another chance! I honestly don't have another song recommendation that is similar to this because I feel this song is just very unique compared to other K-Pop songs period. But, I can recommend my personal favorite: You Are. Thank you again!

The song that I love very much and was fascinated by the MV is 'Focus on me' by Jus2 (Yugyeom and JB from Got7). For me this song is a masterpiece as well as the choreo and the mv. Everything about it was perfect to me.
Jackson is a very under rated dancer... in China tv shows like in hot blood dance crew or and recently he went to street dance of china... and he's skills are so freakin good... just watch it... his an amazing dancer... main dancer worthy....
First: thank you for giving them a second chance!! I personally LOVE Not By The Moon, though I’m also biased because it was my first comeback with them, but I can definitely see where it might not be appealing to people just because like you said, different tastes and all. :P I feel like that’s an important sentence to bring up, because sometimes people forget that not liking a song does not mean you hate the guys or the group, just that you weren’t vibing with that song and that’s ok! Also I’m glad you said that because it feels like sometimes reactors often don’t when they’re not vibing with a song but put up a front anyways, and it’s refreshing to see you be so honest about it.
As for the choreo in the dance practice, YES TO ALL OF THIS. I actually remember hearing that a lot of knetizens slammed this choreo and called it “lazy” because it wasn’t as flashy as other groups, despite it being quite intricate and complex with all the little details in the movements like you pointed out. Tbh it’s honestly still one of my favorite choreographies of theirs because of those details and like you said, the journey of the choreo and the way it had dynamics and variety in the way it was structured. :’)
As for the chorus not being western, I politely disagree just because if you listen to what the instruments are doing in that part, as well as a lot of the harmonic choices made throughout the song they are clearly drawing from funk and soul (especially the rhythms the guitar is playing in the chorus).

Listen Jeff... let me tell you something about Got7. To be really honest, I didn't start liking their music until recently but they're SUCH a good group. They're one of the groups in kpop that are mostly known for their personality more than their music but they are truly iconic. Their vocalists? Top class. Even the rappers sing well and the range of their voices is just so pleasant to listen to. I really do hope you check out more from them.

Focus On Me by JUS2 (Jaebeom and Yugyeom) is a beautiful song with a beautiful MV and choreography too! Vocal-wise, you can consider Youngjae's To My Youth and Square covers. Youngjae is GOT7's main vocal!
