Hi everyone, another day another short!
Kirby: Yes, he could just armor through the lava with DownB while resetting his jumps, but we decided to make the rule „get hit by lava = failure“, we could have maybe clarified in the video, but there was limited time.
Luigi: Yes, we used a mod to always get misfire because we are no masochists. For the final level we tried VERY LONG, but we just couldnt make it, with BOTH facing forward or backwards.
Couldn't Luigi've misfired into the left wall again then back over to the platform?
How far would Kirby get if his down b was allowed
Just do a 3rd misfire into the wall, no?
@@Lollipopyoyo you need the double jump to get additional height. It gets burned charging the 2nd misfire

Not long I bet. Probably used mods
Could easilly do an always backfire mod as everyone should be able to understand that it wouldn't reasonably happen but is possible

THANKFULLY, we have a mod for that, otherwise it would have taken veeeeery long.
Kirby not being able to make it past round 3 must hurt after saving everyone in world of light 😢
But kirby can go pass level 3 if hi use stone on the lava that will deal 0 damage to kirby and will also give all his jumps back

Or he would have beat all of the levels if Kirby uses the copy abilities (especially the monado arts)

Kirby, who can fly, could not make it farther than a man who literally needed a feather to fly in some games

It's criminal how Luigi, a character known for his jumping prowess, has such an exploitable recovery in Smash Bros (unless he gets a misfire).
Luigi should ALWAYS have no problem getting back to stage! Refreshing to see Luigi finally excel in an obstacle course challenge though!
I think his vertical recovery should be good but not necessarily his horizontal recovery, which honestly makes sense game wise. Luigi getting edge gaurded easily is also a staple weakness of his in the smash series, removing that is bad game design.
Him not being able to wall jump is absurd tho I will hive you that
he excels in jump height but not necessarily proficiency. him flailing his feet around and having less traction shows he has more raw power behind his jumps but not as much control as his brother
Its like mario 64DS. Only Mario can wall jump
Kirby can use down b to reset his jumps on lava
But he take the damages and he has only 10%

@@Matouflamme It has armor I think lava only does 7 damage anyways so Kirby can take one lava hit per down-b and then reset his jumps.
Yeah true, but we decided that getting hit by lava = loss. We put it in the first comment now.

Hey ! Kirby technically can beat level 3 and more ! With the down B he can land on lava without getting damage and getting his jumps back
Luigi could've made it past Lv 6 if you have extremely good UpB timing

I feel like fox can do lvl 5 because side b doesnt put him in free fall, so after the double jump to cross the first lava wall if you side b into the left wall you get a wall jump and up b from there

We actually thought about that, jump monado for example could be really fun. But then again he could just copy Steve and that would be giga-boring, so we decided against it. No help from other characters! :)
just a suggestion but maybe you should have a couple seconds at the end of the video be a picture of the tier list so far
With Kirby you can use the stone on lava to gain 5 jumps back, do the test again.

techicnally in 64 the one with the best recovery was Pikachu sooo.
Even then, the best recovery in all of Smash history is either Brawl Meta Knight or, if you count it, Snake thx to C4.

Steve is just gonna craft in midair and casually step up thru every level of this. Rob is a maybe as well
@@Dingus888 rob might not make the later rounds. but steve could minecart and build and minecart and build and then elytra and probably finish all the stages? at least that's what i imagine, don't know if it'll be possible or not.
