He didn't do anything to the Lightning that can't be undone. Vehicles are expression of the owners taste wether anyone else agrees or not. I've owned quite a few classic muscle cars and not many of them remained stock. However I didn't cut up the bodies or chassis or floors or threw away any interior pieces. I built a 428cj with domed TRW pistons, high lift/long duration solid camshaft, Mallory ignition. Ran on aviation gas and drove it to work fairly often and very reliable. A long duration camshaft will not produce as much vacuum for a booster for power brakes. Hydro boost solves that problem.

Anxious to hear that 7000+ RPM small block, Ford brother. I’ve always kind of wanted to do a short stroke big bore small block Ford. Not really for the horsepower just for the stupid fast revs and crazy high RPM.

7000 rpm motor youre gonna lean on. Solid lifters every time man really slims down the chance of failure.
You may wanna pay them to do the bottom end at least. Not that you cant but there are certain things a machinst will do to make it live when they are spun up that high. Killer balance job do the FW and PP also even if they are already "balanced",
    Youll thank yourself later.

I can't wait to see this build. A high RPM windsor is going to be so bad ass! Makes me miss my old Windsor's.
That being said, after all the issue's you've had, all the work, the cost of all the machining, man hours, etc. I don't think I'd do this build myself. my opinion. A coyote swap would probably be about the same cost, all said and done, and make similar power. I hope I'm wrong, and this Winsor makes almost 600hp.
A very sick build, and a much better "cool" factor then a coyote swap for sure though.
