Ramadan in BIZERTE, Tunisia 🇹🇳 4K [VOSTFR] بنزرت

- My friend invited me to Tunisia's northern city, Bizerte, to see what Ramadan is like there. I found out Bizerte has many of its own unique Ramadan traditions like firing off a cannon (Madfa) to signal when it's time to break the fast, a delicious dessert called Rfissa, and a special Droô (sorghum pudding). We eat a delicious traditional Iftar dinner, walk around Bizerte's medieval Medina to check out their Ramadan nightlife, and get stuck waiting and hour and a half for Bizerte's famous lift bridge to let boats pass through.

I have traveled everywhere in the 5 continents and in several Arab countries for me, Tunisia is a truly exceptional country. these are people not only very civilized but above all very cultured I have rarely seen a country which speaks several languages perfectly Tunisian can speak perfectly with you English like French Italian Arabic which is their mother tongue and several languages even they know how to speak the Egyptian dialect, they are really impressive, not to mention that it is the country among the most beautiful beaches that I have visited in my life, yet I am made of countries.
at the end of the day tunisia descended from Carthage .. that make sense .. how much i love this country .. with the good and bad ..
Bur Still socialist، poor ، polluted and miserable
Dzl pour le comm erreur de place
i'm from Tunisia and i speak spanish too

You are welcome anytime to Tunisia 🇹🇳 I 'm from Tunisia
Just arrived in Tunisia, what a place ey. Come across your videos a few times now I rate em. Have a top day!
There is a small village on the sea in the state of Bizerte called Rafraf, which has beautiful landscapes and its locality offers foods that I do not think you have eaten before.
Your tunisian dialecte is pretty good you know most of the vocabulary already
Thank you! I still feel like there's so much I still can't understand 😂
@@20CamelsEmily in 10:35 when the boy asks you about the time, and you put in the video "6:05" and you said " setta w 5amsa " .
setta w khamsa => it means six o'clock 25 minutes, or it's 5× (5 minutes = draj ) => sette w 5 draaj .
"6:05" => we say "setta w draj "
"6:10" => setta w darjin
"6:15" => setta w rbo3 ( it's six and quarter hour )
"6:20"=> ( setta w arb3a (=4) or it's six and 4×(5min=draj)
"6:30"=> setta w nos ( six and a half )
"6:35"=> setta w sab3a=7 draaj (×5mins = draj ) ...
"6:40"=> sab3a gher arb3a = 4 it's like 20 minutes to 7 seven
"6:45"=> sab3a gher (rbo3 = 1/4)= quarter hour to 7 seven.
"6:50" => sab3a gher darjin => ten minutes to seven .
I liked your content , and I like you more. what's your next plan in Tunisia if you are still in it.?
Welcome to Tunisia
Good Luck
This really helps, thank you for your support! ☺️❤️

Thank you so much! I am doing my best to get vlogs out given how difficult this year has been for me 🙏🏼
Amazing and confusing in the same time how you can talk some very accurate Tunisian words that make the person listening to you very surprised and very doubting either you are Tunisian or not ..
It is funny in the same time 😂😂😂
I’ve been told that I can pronounce the words I know in Tunisian very well haha, but I’m not fluent so there are a lot of gaps in my language knowledge 😂 I’m glad you’re enjoying it!
🫶🫶🫶 the way u speak tunisian 😭😻
I wish you to stay in Tunisia now. Its people are beautiful and its food is very good. God willing, you will like Tunisia and its beaches. Bye, Emily 20Camels❤❤😊

Tunisia = love and peace ❤
أنا من تونس 🇹🇳🇹🇳🇹🇳❤️❤️❤️💗💗💗
Omg I loved this vlog. I loved the vibes. Your Tunisian vlogs have this unique vibe that I didn't experience with other youtubers. I was smiling for the whole 25 minutes. I also loved Arij such a cool girl and her family and Bizerte.
Thank you!! ❤️❤️
There was a mistranslation at 10:25. When the boy asked your friend 'what time is it' she said 'Sita w khamsa' which mean 6 25, not 6 05. Because in Tunisia when we say 'w khamsa' it means 5's draj (and draj is 5 minute), so basically it's 5*5 which is 25 minutes (haha too complicated). I hope you understand 😊
A new tunisian follower ❤🇹🇳😊
Marhabe! ☺️
Hi Emily,

Hi Emily,
Thank you very much for this amazing vlog.
I'm Tunisian living in Paris France, I never been in Binzart , you convinced me to go there as soon as possible, especially during Ramadan.
Your content here and on Instagram is very qualitative : you have the talent and the capacity to magnify every "normal detail" of Tunisians life :). You contribute to make tunisia and tunisians looking better ☺️🙏
I'm impatient to see your next video !
Keep going 😊

Hello Emily,
No doubt! I am becoming one of your admirers as you impress me with your successful Tunisian experience. 👏
Indeed, you have acclimatized so well to this country that one would almost believe that you have lived there for a very long time, especially your Arabic which is becoming more fluent and still so adorable, of course! 🤩👌
Thank you very much for this interesting video. 🙏
Sincerely,
Hichem
Thank you, Hichem 🙏🏼 I really feel at home in Tunisia, and I guess it shows! 😉

Awesone video ,oi wish you'd visited Les Grottes at sunset.
Great job! You should invest more of your time in Bizerte.. it has the most beautiful beaches in Tunisia and it's the number 1 local touristic city :)
Now u can tell us about the best city u visit in tunisia .. 😎😎
Mmmm my favorite dish in Tunisia: salad mechwya(grilled). Kaftaji. Cumunya, and no matter how much you learn, you cannot cook it like Tunisians
How long do you plan to be in Tunisia for? I really do love the Tunisia content so much wish for it to continue for a long time lol.
Nice
Great vlog ! come to Hammamet next
Thank you!!
when u visit bizerte again u should visit a beautiful places like jarzouna and kodia so u know more about culture
Now you know how tzaghred 😂😂😂
Haha yesss, I love doing it
Where have you been? 🙋🏼♂️
Best part was when you remembered Lebanon @ dinner 🇱🇧😊🙏😎
Welcom Tunisie 🇹🇳❤
regarding the question special dishes : we have Me7chi which is stuffed dried red pepper which you only find it norther of Bizerte , Ma9rounet Dar , regarding your question about the canon they goes back way before the era of french colonization it's associated with Husainid dynasty and it was to get peoples attention when there was an announcements because there was no amplifier back then , by the way they build fort to stop a Spanish invasion in 16th century the fort was designed by a Sicilian architect in 1570 (the canon were meant for defense but was used also for announcements )
Thanks for this info! 🙏🏼 I was curious about these things
There is something charming about you, your voice, your body language while speaking. You deserve much more views and subscription. (Btw, you look like you are a diplomat or a spy haha)
Wish you the good luck, on youtube and in your other jobs.
Thank you! Just curious, what is it exactly about my appearance that makes you say that? 😂
@@20CamelsEmily
I'm a spy, and i know. 🤣
Nah, i'm joking. Ofc, it's a feeling, not a thought based on real proof. Feelings are subjective, and they are triggered when we sense a similar situation. Your professional way of speaking, your curiosity to know details, your accent's skills, and the amount of information you know about Tunisia make me feel that you are a consul, a diplomatic employee for a diplomatic mission, or a spy.
Well, aside from my bad joke, I wish you good luck. For sure, you are charming (not flirting), and you deserve better stats. You're underrated! 😊
It’s the Christmas tree for me ahaha! 🎄🌙
You should definitely ask for the Tunisian nationality 😅
I believe you have the spirit and the style
Oh thank you 🙏🏼💜
Tatakalem arabiya malih 😊👍
Im in bizerte why didnt u kept me in touch i already noticed in a precendent com that i was there and would had u as my guest 😊
