The Endless Adventure how did you travel from Medellin to Gautape? Did you use Uber? I live in Indy and my husband and I are thinking about going here around September. Love your videos btw, keep it up!
Hi guys! My name is Paula, I'm from Colombia, and here is a bit of a rant for you. I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS, I've been watching for a while and I feel like I've been to all these different places all over the world not because I've traveled to them but because you have shown them to me, so thank you for that. I just watched your latest videos on Medellin and Guatepé and I can't believe THAT is my country... like what? I can't. I've lived in Bogota all my life and never in a million years did I think that there would be such a beautiful place just a few hours away. Thank you so much for showing me and everybody this amazing part of Colombia, for portraying us in such a positive way and for inviting people to come and visit. I really hope you guys come back, there is a lot to see, tons of places to visit, we are big on festivals and celebrations, have all kinds of weather (sorry you came here just as we are facing national issues because of literally RAIN, wtf) annnd you can usually find really nice people. Hopefully you've had a good experience so far and if there's anything that didn't go well I know things will be better next time. And if you read this comment know that you have someone in Bogota whose been watching you for a good while, enjoys your videos, and who would love to take you out to have a cup of coffee and chat (good coffee I promise) and maybe even go with you to see a little bit of my city. If there is anything you need while you are here or for your next visit I would be more than happy to help, so please do not hesitate to ask me. Can't wait to see what's coming next, oh and I might be too late but there are places like Mac-center and Ishop and others who can maybe help Eric with his computer. Byeee, thanks for visiting and safe travels.
Paula Sosa me paso lo mismo, soy de Barranquilla y gracias a estos videos descubrí que hay lugares y paisajes hermosos de que Colombia de los que no tenia ni idea.
Thanks for putting a positive image on Guatape. I'm original from Colombia and rise in New York. Guatapé is an amazing town and I'm proud to be Colombian.
Paula, when you said a rant, I was expecting you to be complaining about something. I just discovered this place because of my screensaver on my PC had a photo of this amazing place. I wish that I could live there . Any idea what the temperature is like there and are there any single women that speak English in the area ?. Oh, by the way where did you learn such good english ( asking because you said that you are in Bogata )
Your both very brave. Eating that delicious but heavy food before hiking up over 700 steps. Way to be daring. LOVE the skills of that musician and GOOD FOR YOU for giving him a tip. The views are INCREDIBLE even at 100 steps
What an incredible way to finish off the perfect day but with some amazing pizza and a big infinity styled hot tub. ENJOY you two...YOU DESERVE it. Definitely an amazing place to visit.
We definitely agree Bobby. We're full time travelers and we are going to have to add this place to out list. We're currently wrapping up Peru and heading to Mexico soon. Woohoo.
I visited Colombia last year and absolutely loved it there! The places you stayed in were quite unique and definitely something I'd try the next time I visit Colombia! Saludos desde Canada!
Good to hear you enjoyed Columbia. We'll definitely be adding this to our list. We're also full time travelers just finishing up here in Peru . Totally awesome to hear you enjoyed Colombia.
@@TurnItUpWorld Oh nice, I went to Peru as well when I was in South America. The food there is incredible and I would go back for that alone! Enjoy the rest of your time in Peru and the rest of your time in SA!
Great video you guys, I went there back in 2017 to film and it was such an amazing experience, from the food, to the landscape, and the people that I met!
Columbia is beautiful, there’s no doubt about that, it matches the city and countryside so well! I loved the big rock you guys climbed! I don’t even know what to call it now after the story you both told us! Excited to see more of Columbia in your next vlog!
So the arepa you put everything on top and eat it in bites! So you get the fusion of foods mixed together. I personally love it with melted cheese on top better and salt fresh off the grill yuuuuum!
Nice vid as always guys!! Maybe in some future vids you could do some slow-mo shots of Eric walking up the stairs, or staring longingly into the distance, or his hand gently caressing the plants/foliage walking along a path.........we've seen so many of Allison!!! Hahahahahaha! ..........no.............I'm serious. More Eric slow-mo shots!!!! Keep it up guys......always love your posts.........and always jealous of them!! xx
That place is STUNNING! I don't know much about South America, so I haven't heard of this city. I understand why you love it so much. Do you find that you need some Spanish to get around? I'm always curious how far you can get with English.
Gotta absolutely love Colombia, so much to explore and see. One of my favorite places was Guatape for sure, wanna know why? Check out the playlist I made on Colombia: ua-cam.com/video/H-ZzmSNKezw/v-deo.html

If you are still around/in Cartagena. Take the bus (Transcaribe) to the local market (mercado de bazurto) for some local food. And make sure to go visit Palenque! It is about 1hr away from Cartagena and is the first free slave town in America. Lots of history and culture there. I am from Cartagena so if you need insider's tips let me know! -Lucy
This video was definitely helpful. We're full time travelers and we are going to have to add this place to out list. We're currently wrapping up Peru and heading to Mexico soon. Woohoo.
Actually, when I was growing up in Medellin I used to love eating hawaiian pizza. Also, we have quite unique hot dogs. Not necessarily the most traditional old school foods but certainly quite popular in Colombia.
That really was incredible. What a view from that hot tub too. Very very nice. I just wanted to be there in the pool with you guys like a creeper. lol. I bet it felt good too after all those steps.
Whoa...that's some rock... :) Sounds like Eric was puffing whilst climbing...? I guess it was almost straight up... :/ Congrats on hitting 1/4 million subs...
Guatape is awesome for sure. I was there about 5 years ago and climbed the rock. Awesome adventure. Are you familiar with the tragedy that happened on that lake about 2 years ago. Just wondering because it wasn't mentioned.
Hi! How confident do you guys feel carrying your cameras around? I'll be going in April to Guatape along with 3 other cities and I'm not sure if it'll be safe to carry a $3000 camera set up around. Thanks
Another awesome vlog. I recently went back and watched some of your earlier vlogs and I got to ask, whatever happened to Matt and Nikita? It’s been a minute.
Great questions. We're full time travelers and we are going to have to add this place to out list. We're currently wrapping up Peru and heading to Mexico soon. Woohoo.
hi Eric & Allison, great videos, I like the way you edit it.. I'd like to ask your permission to use your videos for my presentation. I'll credit you..thanks very much!
Wouldn't even attempt that climb to the top, way too many steps and far too high for me, anything above 50 feet has me feeling sick. Nice view though, glad i viewed it on a screen.

I think your can travel just with some basic Spanish words, but I highly suggest you to learn a little bit to be able to talk to the locals.
Went to Colombia last October, loved it! Did that 730 step climb but well worth it!

Guatape is awesome for sure. I was there about 5 years ago and climbed the rock. Awesome adventure.
Are you familiar with the tragedy that happened on that lake about 2 years ago. Just wondering because it wasn't mentioned.

If I tried to do all those stairs they would have to carry me down in a stretcher! I get dizzy just looking at it. But you guys are young and amazing.
Hi! How confident do you guys feel carrying your cameras around? I'll be going in April to Guatape along with 3 other cities and I'm not sure if it'll be safe to carry a $3000 camera set up around. Thanks
you ought to make a documentary about how you get the drone through various checks
Great Video as usual. Regards from Malta!

The cheese is actually to put in your hot chocolate. It melts and is a Colombian delicacy!!! Try it next time.
