There is no reason to get upset about having to wait when you get to a Drs appt early and people that got there after you get seen before you. I work at a Drs office and there’s a perfect explanation for that. The people that are being seen before you but got there after you are being seen cause it’s their actual scheduled appt time. You got there early. They aren’t gonna skip someone who got there at the appt time to see someone who got there so early unless the person who’s appt is at the time you got there (early) doesn’t show. A lot of people don’t understand that. And to be honest I probably make no sense lol but I tried

Exactly! I have seen so many pts getting upset for the same reason...they get there early and they expect to be seen early, but they cannot be seen early because that time slot has been reserved for other pts! Sometimes people feel so entitled...smh

Brooke Lee - me and my hubs have tried to get pregs for 9 years, but we were blessed to be able to adopted three foster children in May, so now I feel like I’ve transitioned from bawling about not getting pregnant, to thinking I’d be terrified to find out I was pregnant. I'll never understand why people get soo picky about baby gender. Ecspecially if you had a loss before the pregnancy. I had a loss before my current pregnancy, and I swore I didn't care what it was as long as babys healthy.

Also, I think it is because Bella is with them for few weeks out of the whole entire year. She only sees her grandma and grandpa a few times. This way her grand-daughter can see her every single week. It sucks for Bella in the situation of only being able to be with her sibling a few times a year. I come from a broken home so I know how it feels. Wish them all the best

I cry every time I hear an ultrasound heartbeat, it’s such a miracle. My kids are 3.5 and 5 and I still get all the feels from the first time of hearing their heartbeats. I’m so happy for you!!! Truly the best gift in this life, we are all so blessed to be able to experience this gift. Xoxoxoxo!!!

I’m confused. Your ultrasound stated 7 weeks but you said the appt took like a month after you found out, so you found out at 3 weeks you were pregnant? If I recall correctly, you told your parents you were 6 weeks, I think? I could be wrong! Can someone explain? Or was the month appt wait was an exaggeration?
She said she told her mom the day she found out in that vlog. So if you count 3 weeks to 7 weeks that would pretty much be a month or close. Thats what I thought anyway. :)
Oifamily I had rewatched the vlog bc I was so thrown off! Lmao. But yes, our thoughts were correct! She found out the same day she told her mom so she must’ve been 3 weeks there bc when she told her grandmother in the same vlog, she stated she will be 7 weeks soon. So she must’ve already made the appt at 3 weeks pregnant thus why waiting a month to tell her grandmother/outside family bc of the first appt coming up. Got it! LOL! 🤗

Really? With my first pregnancy I wasn't even 6 weeks yet and they looked for/found his heartbeat.
I’m talking about hearing the heartbeat that early, not seeing it. I always saw heartbeats at the first ultrasound & got a heart rate but the dr would wait to hear it until the next ultrasound.

Congrats on your pregnancy! I've been watching your videos for years and have seen you overcome depression. I was just wondering how you plan to prevent or take care of post partum after your pregnancy?
twingirl51 Good point to bring up. I think all pregnant women need to be aware of PPA/PPD. I’ve been battling it since my daughter was born a year ago. To any woman out there facing it or wanting to prepare god forbid, I would definitely recommend counseling with a therapist who specializes in postpartum even before you give birth. Educate yourself and find out what normal thoughts and behaviors are associated with postpartum so you’ll know how to recognize the signs if it starts happening and you’ll know you’re not going insane. Also TALK to your spouse, your family and friends. Be open and transparent about everything going on in your mind, because if you hold it in, it makes it worse. It’s scary to admit, but trust me, it takes such a load of weight and guilt off of your shoulders. Hiding it will only make it worse. You feel ashamed. You feel guilty. You feel crazy. You feel alone. You’ll drift away in a very dark hole like I did for so many months. Also making sure not to get stuck in a routine where you don’t have time for yourself, because you will lose your identity. Eat healthy, exercise, get outside. Revisit your passions. Make sure you have a purpose outside the home and outside of being mom and wife. Postpartum is the hardest battle I’ve ever fought. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I pray Meg never has to deal with it and I pray for every woman going through it will seek help and come out on the other end soaring. 💜🙏🏼

This is one reason I am terrified to get pregnant one day because I do suffer from depression my whole life. Hearing amazing women like you go through postpartum is heart breaking. I use to think women need more appreciation/ credit by carrying and birthing a child but I never thought about after the pregnancy. I hope all women (especially younger like teens) learn more about this because it's so important 💕
twingirl51 ❤️Thank you so much for your kind words. I think what’s scary, is that the subject seems to be so hush-hush and stigmatized as something women should be ashamed of. It took me 8 months, countless drs and therapists to be heard, get sound advice/knowledge and start the healing process. It blows my mind that most drs would tell me “I’m sorry, I don’t have any resources for you, because the condition just isn’t talked about that much. Hang in there. Take these depression meds - oh, but make sure you warn your spouse and family that these could cause you to act on dangerous thoughts. Hang in there” I had to beg for hormone tests, bawling my eyes out. I had a previous therapist who had never heard of PPA/PPD.... The most important thing women can do is talk about this. Bring awareness. De-stigmatize it. Because the truth is 1 in every 5 women develops PPA/PPD within the first 3 months post birth. It’s common. Women need more available help. But, don’t allow the fear to stop you or anyone from having a child. Being a mom is INCREDIBLE everyday, even on a low day she’ll look at me and laugh and reminds me to smile, that there is hope and so much to be happy about in this life. She gives me so much strength. Even if you’ve had a history of anxiety or depression, it doesn’t mean you’ll develop PPA/PPD. And as long as you educate yourself and find a counselor to speak with ahead of time, I can only imagine how much it would help to pull any woman out of it if they should develop it. I just didn’t know for months what was happening to me. Also, my current therapist who specializes in it and has gone through it herself said it will end. It’s not permanent. Usually within a year of getting the proper help. When I look at my daughter, I’m beside myself with tears in my eyes. How incredibly blessed I am to have her. A love that no words could ever describe. I’d fight any battle, move mountains and cross oceans for her. My battle has been hard, but so worth it. Is women are capable of anything!

This is just my thoughts.. If you see a medium or psychic you jeopardize your own future... which is why you couldn’t proceed with the pregnancy the first time

Always go to your dr on your scheduled time. If not then yes you will wait. You have to remember that other patients have made an appt as well and so their appt was more than likely during the time slot that you had come early.

Meg, that is so crazy about the medium. My due date for my daughter was Jan 22, 2019. A couple of years ago I saw a medium to try and get in contact with my grandfather. She asked me if I was pregnant (I wasn’t yet) told me that she saw a spirit of a little girl with my grandfather. My daughter was born Jan 25th 2019. ♥️ I bet you’re having a girl!

I’m so beyond happy for you both! My husband and I struggled thru three years of fertility treatment. When you said you seen a cardinal my heart stopped. We lost my mother last May and as soon as she made it to heaven our fifth treatment took. I’m holding my 7 week old baby boy now. And I believe she visits us weekly. I always see a cardinal visiting in my backyard ❤️

Meg, I went to a medium December 31, 2016 and she said I was going to have a baby boy in two years. I got pregnant January 6th 2018. The only thing she got wrong was me having a boy. I have a beautiful 9 month old baby girl. Her name is Miracle Grace. I wasn’t ever suppose to have kids, because I have so many female issues, but she was hand picked by my brother, dad, grandpa, and grandma in heaven. I can thank Them enough or God.
The only thing I hated during my pregnancy was having to drink that nasty sugary drink. It’s called the Glucose Test. I absolutely hated it.
Girl, I was scared to death about the labor and delivery. I was induced and I was in labor for 25 hours . My body wasn’t dilating passed a 6 so I had a c-section and was put to sleep for it. It was scary, but my baby girl was okay and that’s all that mattered to me.

So exciting! I’m team girl! Right before I announced to my family that I was pregnant with my first at thanksgiving dinner my uncle told us that he had a dream he was at a hospital with my grandma(who passed when I was 4) and she was holding a baby in a pink blanket. He was saying he didn’t know what that was supposed to mean... I announced that I was pregnant and everyone lost it! Sure enough it was a girl 💕
