I asked my dog and they said they identify as a human. We had a full blown conversation then they stood up, got a job and moved out. We still keep in touch and I miss them terribly but who am I to keep them from living the American dream.

It’s probably a YOUNG male dog. Male puppies do not lift their leg to pee. For like the first year, my puppy squatted to pee. I asked my boyfriend about it and he informed me that it takes a while for the male dog to do that
A lot of male dogs who are neutered when they are young squat to pee their whole lives. Whether they lift a leg often depends on when they are neutered, and if they have to get used to lifting a leg to accommodate their genitals. If they get neutered before that happens, they often continue squatting their whole lives.

I have a male dog and he almost never lift his leg when he pees.
@@janeismyname588 No prob! My first dog was a retriever I got neutered at 6 months, and he squatted his whole life. However, the recommended time when you should neuter a retriever to best avoid potential cancer risks has lengthened, so I neutered my second retriever a little over one year, and by then he had started to lift his leg, so even now that he doesn't need to lift a leg, he still does. Same breed, same sex, different neuter times, different behavior while going to the bathroom!

I agree, I'll ask my cats if their trans and I'm pretty sure they will say, "meow" and that will be it.
We used to joke that we had tranny cats at the animal shelter that I volunteered at because for some cats who got repeated, life threatening, urgent to treat or they would die urinary crystals causing urethral blockages, which can cause sepsis and death if not resolved quickly via a person catching it quickly and getting them a very expensive emergency surgery, and often reoccur.
The 'transexual' surgery, called a perineal urethrostomy, removed the male cat's penis where the urethra narrows, enabling them to simple urinate out the crystals, with no blockage, no risk of dying, no expensive, emergency care needed.
We used to joke that they were transexual cats, although their names, sexes were never changed. They were never given any treatment that wasn't medically necessary, no fake vagina was created, only what they needed medically in order to not die a painful, premature death. We were joking when we said they were transexuals. It's sad that I now feel that I need to clarify that, but unfortunately I do these days.

I resent that as a doodle owner😂! Actually my little desert rescue guy is a doxie, chihuahua, Pom, and poodle, according to his DNA and while he does sometimes act more like a person, most notably Joe Biden in his old age (awww, the only sleepy Joe who can sniff a girl’s hair without an assault charge) he is most definitely not a people. He does have attitude though and too good of comic timing on a snarky snort or head shake to be accidental.

This is exactly why I only support trans people with diagnosed gender dysphoria who understand this concept. Dysphoria is such a terrifying deeply rooted trauma associated with their own biology (not social status, but biology) that it ruins their very being and bleeds into their psyche. Yes, I support trans people, but in the sense I fight for their right to access gender based therapies that can unpack and alleviate the fears and traumas related to their biology. Medical transitions should NEVER be available to children or teenagers, but I still believe dysphoric and transitioning adults deserve the same respect as anyone else. I support transgender adults’ right to be and present however they want socially just the same as transvesitites just as long as they are not in denial of their natal biology. I support affirmation of a transgender adult’s social identity and expression, but not the denial of biology. They are free to present and live as they wish though they should still understand and acknowledge their biological differences, understand which gendered safe spaces they are welcome in, and know when to stay in their lane.
As a trans woman, I don't think gender is a societal construct. Gender is natural in the world of nature and in society. I don't relate to these woke tards. I think it's delusional to think your dog is trans, because he female things. It's a quirk and furthermore dogs aren't gonna care if you put a dress on them, they don't have any concept of clothing beyond what their owners dress them up in so they probably could care less about the clothes their humans put them in

We had a vet for our pets that were absolutely brilliant when I was a kid, but many people didn't like him because he could be very rude and blunt. If this person took their dog to see him, he would likely just look at them and say something like 'just because you're a bitch, doesn't mean your dog is'.

I had a female dog that started lifting her leg when she was about 8.
My uncles female dog pees like a male for the exact same reasons. She saw his male dog pee that way as a puppy and mimicked it. I cannot believe this person actually thinks the way their dog pees makes it transgender. I swear humanity seems to just get crazier and crazier

I used to know someone that used gender neutral pronouns for his pets because he didn't know how they truely identified (yes said friend was trans). I wish i was kidding. I also saw a video the other day of a man who most likely was part of the community that had a female cat but he gave her a male name and refrered to her as male because he intended on getting a male cat but ended up getting attached to the female. The way people project thier own issues onto pets is wild.

We had a Pekingese and she was lifting her leg during the walks because she was mimicking our older male dog, who was like a teacher to her when we first got her.

The most territorial dog I've ever had was a female Airedale. She patrolled the yard and kept an eye on everything.
We also had a female Dachshund-mix who had the biggest attitude of any dog that I've known and she would lift a rear leg when she peed. We don't know why, we just knew it was her personality.

Hi, my dog Rosie (may she rest in peace my baby girl) was a born female dog. We got her when she was a young puppy and she would lift her leg to pee like a weirdo. Why? Because she thought it was normal watching our male dog do the same thing. Naturally she would grow out of it in her old age. (Though she never got over doing her weird yoga pose when she would go number 2) she was a very weird dog but I loved her. I’d never suddenly think the was trans. Dogs are weird, they do dog things. They aren’t Trans.
Of all the things, I did not expect this.
My dog identifies as a cat. Getting him out of the tree is extremely difficult. My horse identifies as a trout. He drowned. My brother identified as a hawk. His first attempt at flight was a total disaster.
I had 6 Siberian huskies. Only 2 of my 4 males lifted their leg but only of near something that was upright to pee on. Other than that they all squatted. My 16 yr old Siberian still squats to pee. None of mine were territorial either. My female was the territorial one. All were spayed & neutered for the health of my dogs and so no pups could be born. There’s enough dogs in shelters and mine were all rescues.

Back in the late 1980s, my cousin had taken her male cat to the vet. Vet said Kitty Tom would soon pass if he didnt have a sex change.She grabbed her cat and told him NO. She took Kitty Tom home, found a new vet and the cat lived 7 more years as the man he was ment to be.

The dog isnt territorial? Well is it neutered? We had a male cat once who was 4 at the time we adopted him, was fiercly territorial, incredibly violent towards other cats. Then, there is MY male cat, who was neutered much younger, who isnt territorial, who isnt violent and is only occasionally a bit dominant. Does that mean my current cat is actually female?
