Ok, I've been train to and never worked in in patient mental health facilities and that is not taught at all. Idk how long ago you were trained or worked in the field, but telling a patient that the things they think are delusional and not real unless the thought is harmful to themselves or anyone else, you are supposed to go along with it because trying to convince them of the reality of the situation causes a lot more harm than good and can be dangerous. They can become very agitated and become aggressive, they can become very disturbed, or depressed and even harm themselves. Plus, basically telling a person they're crazy because they think they're someone they aren't or think they just went out on a date with their dead wife is cruel. Our whole building will refer to a patient as the person they think they are, if they think they just saw someone they didn't, we'll ask them about the visit and talk to them about it. If they are carrying on conversation with themselves we let them do it, if they think someone is coming for something that isn't we'll help them get ready and talk to them about their plans as if it's real and they forget about it later. If they aren't harming anyone and are excitedly telling you about something, why tell them "that's not real. Your child died 3 years ago" and so on and so forth. I had someone 80 something years old and paralyzed telling me about helping their dad work on his house the day before. Am I supposed to tell them "no, that didn't happen. Your dad died along time ago, you are paralyzed from such and such, and you've been here for years?" How is that compassionate?

I like having short hair, climbing trees, playing outside (at least as a kid), not wearing dresses, not wearing makeup, rough housing (again, as a kid). But I am a woman. I like men, I like being a mom. Those certain characteristics don’t make me less of a woman.

It is genuinely scary that if you had been a teen/young adult in this era depending on where you lived you could've had god knows how many people trying to convince you you're actually a boy somehow trapped in a girl's body. And that's the "best" scenario. Kiera I grew up in California, the heart of the craziness! If I were growing up now, there’s a high chance I would have felt pressure to transition. I’m very glad I’m older and not growing up now! And yes, personality is a spectrum, not gender!

I once kept a litter box in my bathroom too. It was for the cat. An actual cat. Not for a person identifying as a cat. I was living in an apartment. I didn't want the litter box in my kitchen, living room, or bed room. It made sense, to keep it in the bathroom. But this was in a home ... where an actual furry feline lived. Not in a public restroom. My question to the latter: Who the hell plans to scoop that out?

You're absolutely right. The issue here is much bigger than the surface level acts from the video. By encouraging people to walk around as billboards for their inclusion OER bullet, they are taking focus away from the mission. I've run into several like this in my career. They don't work because they're too busy trying to tell everyone who they are and why they're special. I've had a Hispanic female NCO that was fast tracked through every single thing in her career and more than once I heard her say "what are they gonna do? I'm a minority female." This is the world we've built. I don't know that it can be saved

That’s because today, trans means anything people want it to mean. A lot of these people who are chronically online are just dressing like the other gender and pretending to be oppressed. True transitioning isn’t cross dressing which is what it looks like people are doing more and more. I
personally believe in two genders and I don’t think transitioning helps people, but I respect that you don’t do what these other people keep doing.

I have no objections to women willing to compete against men. The issue I have is forcing women to compete against transwomen aka men.
Sooo I used to train dogs and boy dogs lifting the leg is a learned behavior. When they are puppies, they learn to lift their leg to per from other “in tact” dogs, it’s a hormonal instinct. Once you get them fixed, those hormones are gone and therefore, that instinct to learn the behavior goes away. If you get a male puppy and they are never around other intact dogs and you get them neutered around 6 months old, they will never lift their leg to pee. We have a 17 year old boy dog and he still squats. It doesn’t mean he sees himself as a girl. That just clearly shows his perception of sex and gender is skewed in addition to all other points already mentioned.
yes my male boxer had cryptorchidism so i got him fixed early bc vet recommended and he only occasionally would lift his leg at the dog park where other dogs were doing it otherwise he just squatted

Sadly Lexington (where UK is), Louisville and Frankfort are the blue hold outs because we're the big city folks. But most of the state lives a blue collar reality and would sooner spit at the trans flag than fly it. In fact, the most "progressive" people around here just use the rainbow WHICH IS HOW IT SHOULD BE USED ANYWAYS. But the more subtle leftist extremism is aimed at the kids. Our local library as "The Pronoun book" and "Anti-racist baby" in toddler reach. But most parents will actively guide their kids away from those books or put them back and refuse to read them. I frequently go to the library with my daughter and not a single parent has allowed their children the Gender or racism books. The library doesn't notice evidently because they keep them there despite everyone avoiding them like the plague. But no one above the age of 18 believes in this stuff.

I am proud of these women for their sacrifice and courage to refuse to compete in an unsafe arena with biological men.

The one about the Maps and the dolls: there is a reason they should not be sold. It is basically the overton window but for actions. The truth is that you are more likely to go further down a path if you overcome the hurdle of actually going on that path. Also people should not get send the message that its somehow okay to do this with kids, those dolls would send that message.
This action (refusal to compete against biological men) is EXACTLY what needs to happen to eradicate this unfair and dangerous completion at the organizational level. If ACTUAL female athletes all stepped down from the competition when a male competitor is present in the completion (whatever it is), this would FORCE the institutions to address the issue like they should (rather than work from a position of fear or ignorance to appease the woke mobs).

It's also just taking a stand against the BS that is being forced down ALL women's throats who are involved in any sport. This is the start to solidarity among women in women's sports. If we don't stand up for ourselves and each other now it'll just keep going on like it is. I'm immensely proud of being a biological female alongside this strong woman who stood up for herself and for all women in sports and overall. She deserves the utmost respect and kudos. I'm so proud of her, and she handled it with dignity and self-respect unlike how these woke trans activists and influencers, and general woke trans people behave like toddlers having tantrums on a daily basis we have shoved in our faces every second of every day.
It's pretty selfish in my eyes when people decide to take their personal issues, issues that have nothing to do with complete strangers, and put them on others. Ex: on a 27hr road trip back to college, which is exhausting, me and my best friend/roommate stopped to get stuff for our apartment, as we are checking out I looked at him and said man I'm tired. The military should not be worrying about pronouns. My experience as a military spouse for over 20 years showed me that it is rank that is important. You are not Miss, Ms. Mrs. Mr. etc. You are Capt. Corporal, Sargent, Colonel, General etc.
What about if someone identifies as a Colonel? Will the government allow that they can become one? The government allows trans identification so why not trans-rank? Inclusiveness and diversity!

"Dignity and respect is the floor of where we can be." No it's not. Because no one owes you, as an individual respect. I believe in respecting someone's humanity, or God given rights... but I'm also very aware that the same people who say "respect is the floor" immediately ridicule and attack any human being that disagrees with them. It's often wiser to call out the rules of their game and refuse to engage rather than pretending like everyone will actually treat you with respect.

There was a Christian College in Vermont who's girls basketball team forfeited a game because the other team had a trans player. Now the Christian College isn't allowed to participate in championship tournaments.
I can see them being afraid to be the first to push back. Riley Gaines went through hell for speaking out. She and others have needed to pave the way. Hopefully momentum builds hey?

That's not treating those people with dignity or respect. Most people will get offended if you don't know what sex they are just from looking at them. So by trying to force them to do so is insulting to them.

That's crazy I never knew that. My parents were divorced so sometimes I'd see my mom on the weekends. She was a bartender so I'd be stuck at the bar til like 3am so I got good at pool.
So good my mom would make bets on me to beat the men. I was a 12 year old girl so it made it funnier when I'd run the table. It'd be best 2 out of 3 and I'd lose the first and win the last 2.
When I was having a good night my mom would be like she can beat you one handed too lol. Some of them were super easy because they'd been drinking. But then the men's pool league would come in and warm up and I'd beat them too.
I did lose a few times to this one man but he helped me get better and I eventually would beat him too. Although, I did hold my pool stick odd so they'd always try to correct me but I sucked when I held it the correct way. So I stopped trying to do that.
I didn't have a pool stick at the time either so I always played with the bar sticks. Which made it even funnier when people would rag on the guys I beat. My mom always gave me some of the money but man she definitely hustled them and me😅
Eventually one of the men in the league had a wife that played too and they gave me one of her old sticks, bags, and chalk. I still have it to this day. Never knew men had the spatial awareness over women though, that's definitely interesting!

Here a point, the vast majority of professional sports are NOT mens sports. The NBA, NFL, NHL, MBA, many wrestling leagues. So many sports are thought to be mens only yet have had women participate in them. There are no regulations stating that the NFL won't allow women and the first one to play professional football happened back in the 70s. Hell, the first Major League Baseball woman happened back in the 1880s.
Yet, there ARE womens specific sports because of the obvious biological differences and that is great for woman who want to participate. IF a trans person wants to participate they can go to the leagues that have no boundaries on gender. But, they won't because their #1 record bounces right down to 700 pretty quick.

I understand why they’re afraid. Some states have actually taken their children away as soon as “authorities” see the parents won’t go along with the narrative. Then they have to fight to get them back if they even can. It’s horrific. The best thing they can do is pretend like they see the school’s pint of view when they bring it up. Then go home and start packing to leave that county or state. No parent should even live in a town where their children are being abused by the schools and by the medical professionals.

The big thing that doesn't make sense with the doll, why do offenders offend multiple different kids, if the doll could be enough then you'd see them only offending one child, but largely it's multiple kids. So I doubt a child like doll would be enough.
I live in Seattle. I assure you that these crazies aren't nearly as rampant as they seem (at least not in the vast majority of neighborhoods), but unfortunately they tend to seize the spotlight every chance they get while the rest of us are just living normal everyday lives.

I would genuinely love to have a civil conversation with one to hear them explain why their own gender matters so deeply to them. Is it inherent in us, or not? I went along with pronouns in emails and put "Master" and got into a whole world of trouble . However , I have been practicing Taekwondo for over 40 years and am a 8th Dan black belt master. It defines absolutely everything about me yet I was instructed to remove it. 1 year later I was sacked .....

This is my second comment, but I needed to give my experience, at my job (of which I'm laid-off going on 4 months) there is a lot of "immigrants", most are from Central and South America! Some of them are here as refugees (most are men and likely illegal) and they refuse to speak English and told me I have to learn Spanish! I surprised them, because I already know some Spanish, so they proceeded to switch to other languages (some native dialects) they know and then tell me to learn them too, cause it was not their problem! Last time I checked this the US and our only official language is "English", I can understand learning a little Spanish or even French since they are our neighbors, however it shouldn't be a prerequisite for an average job in the US! I believe knowing and using English should be required to work in the US, with exceptions for certain areas, Cincinnati ain't one of them and we shouldn't have to do anything for people that are already in our country on charity, they should be the ones to show respect for their hosts!

He joined the all female roller derby league. He literally insisted that trans women are women, and that he is not a physical threat to women. The women obviously disagreed with that bs, but he got his way. I guess the owners didn't want to be accused of being transphobic.What makes this so much worse in my opinion is the fact that they also had a unisex league. It was in the same building, it had the same owners, same everything...but no, this man only wants to be able to run into. knock over, and push around women. Because hes afraid of getting hurt.

There was a gender neutral category held at an international swimming championship in Germany. Not one person entered this category. The ladyballers in swimsuits and cycling shorts etc only went to compete against women. More opps for affirmation, hanging out in the locker room and stealing medals. That's the point.
