Women the same amongst women, men with the women ( except mother, sisters, aunts, aunts children, grandmas or elder women with whom you cant marry) is not allowed to touch each other even look each other for a while or for the purpose of passion. Khabib behaves like the people who lived in the time of Prophet Muhammed (Pbuh). On the other hand, you will be able to see lots of Muslim men do hand shaking with the women.

But its sad to me a lot of Muslim guys still don't follow our prophet, the commands of Allah to lower our gaze as men, because of our ignorance. Im worried for the Muslim youth. A lot of parents don't teach their children to lower their gaze, I had to learn in on my own as well through experiences with women. The only way I can have a happy marriage is when I lower my gaze with non mahram women .

FYI, its one of the teachings in Islam and has been mentioned in the Quran as follows: "Tell the Believing men to lower their gaze and be modest, and tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest" [Al-Quran, Surah An-Nur, Ayat 30, 31]. He is a good example of a good Muslim to the whole world.

It's a sign of respect to shake someone's hand in western culture. He's in a western country and should follow our customs. Just like if I went to an Islamic country I would never try to hug the women there, I would follow their customs.

Based on Islam only his mum though. As for his wife he has the upper hand as he is the head of the house in Islam. But of course you would be nice to both but based on priority mum comes first in Islam. Provided that his mum doesnt ask for anything harmful to her wife or any wrong things.

While yes, Man is head of the family in Christianity when it comes to major decision making, rules and providing... women definitely run the show when it comes to the physical property and home.
Being a homemaker in old school Christianity isn’t just doing laundry and baking cookies. It’s doing the electrical work, painting, running a functional garden to provide fresh vegetables and ingredients with every meal, taking care of the kids, baking meals from scratch, keeping track of the finances, making sure food supplies are regularly and fully stocked, doing all the shopping and maintenance. It’s like a full time job in a busy household... arguably harder than most desk/office jobs that the husbands work.
And P.S., this isn’t always the case anymore, unfortunately because most men can’t afford to support a family alone. Be it because they didn’t do well in school, don’t earn enough or work hard enough... point is the culture has changed.
It's not like his mom gave birth and raised him or anything. He kept his promise to his mom to stop fighting, and in doing so gave up millions. That's commendable.
Khabib's lifestyle and manners are the real definition of democracy and freedom...he doesn't force others to live like him, but he also wants others to respect him as he is and not force him to do things he doesn't want to
