Basically answers the question: what if hysteria were in origin of symmetry
The crazy part about seeing this is hearing the bassline without it being immediately followed by the entire crowd freaking the fuck out. Must have been awesome to hear them play this before anyone knew it.
Just think under a year later people were screeching every time they heard the intro
This is so strange to hear lol, but freaking awesome. Matt should totally play the intro bassline more often

What really makes this amazing is that the bassline is played without the synth layer on top 'masking' the fuzzed bass. As you can hear, Chris never missed a note.
Now the 2002 demo version (the studio recording of this version) is released with the Absolution XX Anniversary

I love it when i see something like this. I always wonder how Muse would sound if they had played all of their songs with the style they did back in th OOS era. Alot more mental i bet. I bet Supermassive would sound alot different if it had been made back in 2001

I really am in love with the bridge from the first chorus to second verse.
I like the back vocals
When I need to be charged of energy I can't resist, I start freaking out around the way this song keeps. It's awesome and it looks like Matt's guitar growls, even better with this kind of twisted voice because it gives me madness and pride, though. I believe that a lot of you may grasp the real purpose this song was written for and you don't want to forget the power and the pleasure you reached while attending their gig. It's worth to spend a wide quote about Muse, thus you look through their weirdest moments as when they played totally drunk or maybe you scan every single image of their exhibitions for getting more involved in the career they've built. There's too much to argue about but we may not cram such a long opinion because I could look crazy even though I'm out of mind and entirely fierce over this awesomeness!
Mix this Hysteria with the "real" Hysteria and you would get the best Hysteria EVER!!!

the effect isnt a lucky one, but i like that they played the intro twice together.
@raencarve4 It means that 2002 was the time of young muse. A good example would be a Hullabaloo DVD. You can compare that show to a some 2010 proshot performance. A lot things are different nowadays. bobex3x is maybe a fan of the old muse, and that's why he said it. I personally think they are amazing nowadays too, even tough they are not as energetic in their shows as they were like 10 years ago. And it's Oos not Qos, as some people already corrected here.
@EmlaGirl i totally agree!!!! hysteria is my fav. song but i lov the intensity of this version and the vocals i love the lighter matt bellamy voice from OoS and showbiz but i do think hysteria is composed much better than 'new one' this 1 OWNS!! btw no1's jumping???????????????????

Absolution came out in September 2003, so this is the early version, they didn't had a name for it.
