they need to do a massive tour of all their epic rare old stuff including this
@Todd Pilp My only wish is see them to play all OoS like Leeds 2011. I really miss Hyper Music and Space Dementia.
@@erensonmez7645 I just watched that gig last night. So good
@@michaelv2304 isn‘t it? Hope they can play rarer stuff in the upcoming tour.
I've seen Muse five times over the last 7 years or so and never heard them play this one. Really wish they'd add it back into the set lists.
Still haven't played it for 20 years lmao
Really bass-heavy mix. I love it.
Wolstenbass
The great thing with muse videos I can like it before it starts, I know it will be great
Oh what i would do to see this song live
awesome song, hope they will play it live again
This.song.just....amazing!!!!!!!
Exactly, better musician means that it's a pleasure for you to listen to him. Muse's music is simple but absolutely amazing and beautiful
Matt and Slash are totally different. Both brilliant guitarists, Matt is an excellent composer, and Slash is a great soloist, but i'm not saying Matt is crap at solos or Slash is crap at composing, they are just different, and some people need to broaden their mind to see that these two massive icons are different for a reason, not because one is better than the other. :D By the way, In Your World is an astounding song and i wish Muse could take a step back to their mad selves again :)
Best song :)) love it
yeah technically he's not the best guitarrist but the most creative, even though most of their riifs, pedals and effects are based on rage against the machine guitarrist, he took it all to the next level, he's like a living machine
Dafuck are you talking about?this song riff is based on classical song called toccatta. Many muse early guitar works has classical music influence
Feckin awesome fretwork.
@ikomplex
You're right, but who needs more technique when you can produce epicness like this!
The MOST UNDERRATED SONG EVER
Fr
HELLL YEAHHHH!!!!!!
EPIC
I'm just gonna say this.
Matt and slash are two different styles of playing. I cannot compare the two and keep the styles apart. Matt plays his style better than the gn'R/classic metal style, and vice versa.
That being said, they are both very good guitarists in their own right, and both write good music. I just perfer Matt Bellamy's over Slash's.
ANYWAYS. I just recently started to like this song. I wasn't a huge fan of it at first, but the live versions are always SO much better.
@CitizenOfMuse What about "Invincible"? I think that is Matt's fastest solo but yet again, all these guitarists in the past and the present have their unique playing and feeling to it. One can't just say this player is better than the other as each member of the band (the drums, electric, bass, vocal) all have learned to play with their own style. thats just my opinion.
Does Matt mean to modulate to major at the end of the last phrase starting at 2:31?
Ryan Smith Yeah, he does it in the studio version too. I think it's a good way to finish the song.
@@SteveWillSay Nah that looks like a mistake. He made some tapping errors in the riffs in the beginning as well
an accident for sure.
You cant continue this debate. For one, Matt once said he thinks there's something ''uncool'' about guitar solo's which is why he does so little of it, and thats his opinion and playing style. Matt is mainly a rythm guitarist and matt sings aswell as plays guitar. So you cant compare him to slash at all. I've seen matt do some incredible things with the guitar, things I'm sure slash couldnt pull off. It's their own unique styles. So Lets have no more of this silly debate :')
I'm french so i use the world i know in english ehe :)
But the fact is matt's solos are not complex at all, cause i was able to play each of his solo after 4 yrs of guitar learning; That's not possible with Steve Vai, Slash other's solos.
man if they played this in the US...
@cizzlen07 like with lots of songs from showbiz and all of their other older albums, and some rare b-sides:D
epic face at 1:18
fuckin awesome song by the way
@CitizenOfMuse LOL Slash good guitarist? Matt can do more than Slash, and he is also a great composer!
@dragoninja000 Invincible is not the fastest solo of muse, i think it's the one of Guiding Light. I play both of these solos, and i started guitar 5 years ago, so we can't say that his solos are quick.
But i think speed is not very important. We just can't say that "MATT IS THE BEST GUITARIST OF ALL THE TIMES", we should say "Matt is the guitarist who touches me more than the others"
His music don't give importance to technic, and it's better like that.
speed is not the same thing as complex
Lol all those old comments talking about Slash and Matt, wonder what did i miss
awesome song
slash solos are not that fast and they are not that complex either!
Nois
jajajaa alto pifie al principio =P igual un temooon!!!
Hi
Matt has no solo as fast as Slash's solos. So i said only technically. But, yeah, of course, i prefer muse music, so matt is, according to me, a better composer than all these Slash, Angus Young and Co ;)
JS Bach enjoys
@biggayal1992 sorry dude but he's not the greatest guitarist in the world today. he's one of the best but not the best. oh and muse still rocks!
@biggayal1992 Hum... He is not the best guitarist of the moment at all, technically. There are a lot of ugitarists which are better (Slash, Petrucci, Satriani, Van Halen, Angus Young & others...). But according to me, he's a better musician than them :)
Good music for Nazy Blitz Krieg 2nd WW😂⚡⚡💘
You do know that your all talking bull crap! I am a huge muse fan but matt could not stand a chance against slash lol!
