Hey guys, I'm from Cape Town and highly suggest paying a visit to Kalk Bay. It's a small harbour town with a vibrant market atmosphere. Also, the summer concerts at Kirstenbosch are a must do. Passenger, Bastille and The Lumineers are among many international bands to have played here, as well as Jeremy Loops, a local singer from Cape Town.
Hi I'm from Cape town I definitely suggest the penguins at boulders beach aswell as ratings junction in century city which is our very own theme park and also Clifton 4 beaches
kalk bay, boulders beach, Cape point, castle of good hope, Atlantic Railway steam train, Chapmans Peak, Waterfront boat trip around the peninsula, table mountain, kirstenbosch botanical gardens, sea point promonade, camps bay, Clifton, Llandudno, seal island in hout bay, Newlands for forrest, constantia valley, groot constantia wine farm,

I've been to Cape Town for 2 years and I really enjoyed. I cannot take more than a year without visit Cape Town, I feel like my second mother's place. Vaga Brothers so thankful about you guys, cuz you are showing to the world nice things in life that makes ourlives alive and happy, cheers.
Riebeek-Kasteel is an artistic small town 80 kilometers outside Cape Town. The Olive Festival is a great event not to miss each year. Wine and olive tasting, while seeing various art shows, makes Riebeek-Kasteel a must see place on your visit to South Africa.
Loved this video! Cape Town is one of my favorite cities in this world. I would also highly recommend going to boulders beach to see the Penguins. It's an absolutely amazing sight to watch penguins emerge from the ocean.
very few people actually know about mzoli's! glad you guys included it. there is also the butanic kristenbosh gardens just off the n1 against one of the mountain slopes. it houses all the fyn bos native to the western cape. this is a definate must
This great video showcases only a small part of what Cape Town offers ….. Cape Point / West Coast to Langebaan Lagoon/ Stellenbosch and Franschoek for wine , great food and specular mountain views , Paarl ,Hermanus Kirstenbosch botanical gardens the drive to Muizenburg , Fish Hoek , Kalk Bay, Simons Town utilising the M3 High way and so much more
I lived in Cape Town for a year and it really is the most amazing city. I actually did all the things mentioned without watching this video before :) Next time you are there you should check out West Coast Nationalpark. It's about an hour drive away from the city. Or go hiking at the Cristal Pools which is also about an hour drive justin the other direction. It was the most stunning hike I ever did in my life!
Big Bay in Bloubergstrand is a great place to learn to surf, with fantastic views of Table Mountain. A highlight of our trip was Kalk Bay, a beautiful fishing village which is a short drive from Cape Town.
A trip to Cape Point lighthouse at the tip of the Cape of Good Hope, a short drive away, through the Cape Point Nature Reserve is another must. You left off a lunch at the Brass bell in Kalk Bay, and a stop in Simonstown to see Just Nuisance' statue. These can all be done in a day. If you're older, do this instead of Lions Head.
cape town looks amazing I only randomly clicked into few videos about Cape, previously knowing only basic geographical info about this city and I'm quite excited to travel there in the near future, thanks for the video, regards from Poland
We were in Cape Town a few months back. FELL IN LOVE! We have a couple videos highlighting our experience in Cape Town on our channel if you want to reminisce even more :0)
This is such an awesome video guys! Good list. As a resident Capetonian, I definitely think that these are great picks. I always enjoy watching all of your videos.
There's too many activities to mention, we have the V&A waterfront for shopping, Camps Bay Beach and kloof str(Sunday sun downers), surfing at Muizenburg Beach, Kirstenbosch Sunday Concerts(Nov -March), up cycle - Sea Point promenade(evening), horse back riding (Noordhoek Beach), paragliding off Lions head, signal hill(Sunset) and tons more..
Awesome video about my hometown! Cape Town is the best! I created my latest video at Blouberg Strand with Table Mountain in the background on a day in the middle of winter and it was so hot. Cape Town winters are the best. Well done on a great video guys!
Im from cape town living on the island of North Cyprus an hour away from Istanbul, love your top 10 of my home city and feeling a little homesick, but, thanks for the great review.... Istanbul amazing, if you get the chance check out Bodrum partied like crazy there for the summer.
Hey I'm from South Africa, currently living in Stellenbosch, just outside of Cape Town. Drop me an email at jhlubbe1@gmail.com and I would try to answer some questions for you guys if you still have any.
Two great cities in great sea's Cape Town separates two oceans , Indian and Atlantic. Like wise separation , Istanbul separates two continents , Europe and Middle East .
Boerie rolls, samoosas, meat pies, slap chips and lots of snoek and yellow tail. Simons Town is on the list, just great to walk through and enjoy the water front restaurants.
Hi❤️ I'm from Cape Town and I definitely suggest on going to Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, you will see the most incredible sights. For tourists and those interested in restaurants, shopping and ocean travels, I suggest going to V&A Waterfront. For people that love plants, it is a good idea to visit Kirstenbosch Botanic Garden for its variety of indigenous plants.
i use to live there. and i mus say you have to go visit cape point where two oceans meat. retunga junctio, a very good and thrilling theme park. waterfront and my personal favourite Canal walk has a spectacular food court!!
If you go again to Cape Town, As a local. I highly recommend you to also take a chance and visit WaterFront ... It has a fares wheel and ton other stuff to do. Like dancing, going to the mall, taking a picture infront of Table Mountain (Like a large frame that surrounds table mountain and you can stand in that frame. And so much more at Waterfront. And also check at Canal Walk as well... Canal Walk is one of the best malls in South Africa. I recommend these 2 places for your next trip here :D
I'm from Cape Town constantia and I recommend ,Go to kirstenbosch gardens for a goldfish concert but it only happens once a year but if you miss it go there anyways, boulders beach and visit the Penguins ,Ratanga junction our amazing theme park which is home to the cobra🎢🎢
Awesome video guys! Love our mother city ✌️😎 Another option is to join Cape Town Free Walking Tours in the CBD. They give lots of tips & recommendations as well.
Howzit my bro's! Nice video clip of Cape Town in a nutshell. I must add however, we have private game reserves just a few hours drive out of the city for some amazing Safari's, The African Penguin at Boulders Beach, The Blue Wales and the West Coast. But this city does have a lot to offer and that is why I am proud to be a Cape Tonian. You have mentioned most of the top highlights so well done!! =)
This City is my home. Here are my tips: -West Coast National Park in Flower Season -Boulders Beach (Beach where you can swim amongst penguins) -Sea Point Promonade (Sunset walk) -Bree Street on the first Thursday of each month -Kirstenbosch Garden -Company Gardens -Kalk Bay -Butterfly World -V&A Waterfront -Giraffe House -Restaurants and Bars: Yours Truely, Village Idiot, Jasons, Caprice, Quay Four, Beer House, House of Machines -Clubs: 31, Jade -Truth Coffee Shop (STEAM PUNK THEMED COFFEE SHOP.VOTED BEST IN THE WORLD) ENJOY!!!
Bring warm pajama's, a windbreaker/raincoat (we have winter rainfall), closed shoes or boots and then you are good to go. Have fun and oh, consider paying a visit to some of our museums i.e. iziko museum or district 6 or the slave lodge on a cold rainy day
There are great camping spots for those who are outdoors people either along the coast (which i would avoid in winter) or more inland at spas etc. Kirstenbosch gardens has the best flora in the world (fynbos). hiking up platteklip gorge to the top of table mountain is a challenge but a must and very rewarding. So much to do here but to end off i would suggest fish and chips at snoekies in hout bay. hahaha bree street, dude your face was epic
First Thursdays of every month, art galleries and museums open their doors to the public for free. These are along and near by Long Street, Bree Street. The City center has a very festive atmosphere. 'Fish on the Rocks' in hout bay to experience the famous Fish and Chips every person loves in Cape Town. Signal Hill sunsets and jogs, located next to Lions Head- drive up with car and watch the sunset over looking the ocean and Cape town. VnA Waterfront for fairest wheel and resturants. Green point Lighthouse Camps bays or clifton beach Kirstenbosch Gardens Groot Constantia for wine tasting with a view.
Obviously Table Mountain is cool, but you can see it from pretty much anywhere in the city bowl! So don't feel like you missed out TOO much. The view from the top is beautiful, but there's so much to do in Cape Town that missing the cable car queue isn't the worst outcome :)
How about Simon's Town and kayaking with the penguins? Or Cape Point? Kirstenbosch Gardens' boomslang, or High Tea at the Mount Nelson Hotel? Company Gardens, The Slave Lodge, Surf lessons at Surf Corner in Muizenberg, or riding an ostrich. .... list could be endless
If you the adventurous type then there is everything from zip lining to sand boarding, to paragliding off a mountain and jumping out a plane. Cape Town has it all. Footnote: there is also whiskey, beer and brandy tasting, if the wine isn't enough.
