Just hiding the poverty isn’t enough. When people fly to Cape Town, they can't avoid seeing it. As soon as they land at Cape Town International Airport, they encounter massive cement walls that separate the impoverished areas from the airport. Beyond these walls, all you can see are shacks-makeshift homes constructed from tin and plastic-stretching endlessly into the distance. As you get closer to the mountain, the scenery improves until you reach the area shown in this video, where the wealthy live. These affluent neighborhoods are protected by high security walls and patrolled by private security guards 24/7, constantly vigilant against any encroachment by the poor. This is the stark reality. South Africa is in urgent need of an economic miracle.

The downside about suburbs like Camps Bay and Clifton is that so many Hollywood stars and international business moguls have bought holiday apartments there that it has become impossible for native South Africans to afford anything there. The upside is that you can always see your favorite Hollywood actor cycling or walking on the Sea Point promenade, They seem to think that a baseball cap and sunglasses provide the perfect disguise.😂Anyway, Capetonians are used to celebrities, and we pretend that we do not recognize them, so that they can enjoy anonymity and a great holiday.

Video quality, top-notch, voice over perfect. It feels so easy watching the video, but I know how tasking and difficult the whole creative process and filming is. Kudos bro 👏, keep it up.
Reason why joburg and rest of south africa fail to be in capetown standards is immigration control. Other cities are not so precise when it comes to population control and bylaws. Joburg can be better than capetown but the governance there is not doing enough to protect the city. Durban is almost abandoned and Pretoria has the joburg problem. Too many illigal Immigrants who don't respect bylaws and laws in general. Crime is so high there. Capetown is the Bar.

Joburg and Durban gave top quality places as well just like how cape Town also has places that don't look so great. Gauteng has and is still building a lot of new cities outside the CBD.
