- Howdy everyone, the Bandicoot whisperer is back again and this time I am going to be ranking every single Crash bandicoot video game. If it stars Crash Bandicoot it will be here on this list! No phone games allowed though. If you disagree with my hot takes please let me know in the comments! Otherwise enjoy!

Crash Bandicoot is literally the dictionary definition of my childhood! Obviously, Warped is my favorite game of them all, the only complaint I had with it is that I personally don’t like the motorcycle race levels, and that there’s 4 of them. I need to finish Crash 4, but so far I agree that it’s great, but they went a little overboard on completionist content. Also, the original version of Crash 1 was so much more punishing because the game could only be saved by completing bonus stages, and collecting gems; even worse, since the original game didn’t save the crates you smashed at the checkpoints (unlike every other game since) you had to do every level deathless for a gem! I loved the video and can’t wait to see more!

I agree with this guy. I love crash bandicoot 4 the same, too. The cutscenes are like a Pixar movie.
I would say DreamWorks more than Pixar.
Like Madagascar(Funny Animals and Island), MegaMind(he looks like a mix between N Tropy, N Brio and Cortex), The Bad Guys(Pinstripe Potoroo and Tawna), Road To El Dorado (Papu Papu), and Monsters vs Aliens(Mutants Animals and Nitrous Oxide).
When I was younger I didn’t have a DS and I so desperately wanted to play Crash Boom Bang... if only I knew...

17: Nitro Kart (GBA)(Plays surprisingly well for a GBA game)
16: Crash Bash (A mediocre at best Mario Party ripoff)
15: Mutant Island (Wow! Crash has some solid mobile games!)
14: Crash of the Titans (DS)(Has some issues, but mostly good)
13: Crash Team Rumble (Slightly disappointing to me)
12: The Huge Adventure (Adapts Crash to the GBA very well)
11: Wrath of Cortex (A strange follow up to the OG trilogy)
10: Mind Over Mutant (I appreciate this game’s ambition)
9: N-Tranced (Better than the Huge Adventure in every way)
8: Nitro Kart (What a sequel to CTR! What a sequel! He’ll yeah!)
7: Crash Bandicoot (The one that started it all holds up very well)
6: CTR (Actually gives Mariokart a run for its money!)
5: It’s About Time (The sequel we needed and deserved!)
4: CTR: Nitro Fueled (Resurged the series 15 years later!)
3: Twinsanity (Nails the humor and I love the idea of teaming up with Cortex)
2: Cortex Strikes Back (An improvement over the first in every way)
1: Warped (One of the greatest games of all time! Wow!)
Crash of the Titans was really fun to me
Crash Twinsanity is a Masterpiece to me despite the game being heavily rushed and having lots of bugs and glitches 😊 The Game is Very Fun and The Music is Beautiful and Amazing 🎵 Crash Twinsanity is a Very Special Treasure that I will always cherish forever in my Heart ❤️ My Life will be complete if we get a Crash Twinsanity Remake with all the cut levels added in so it would be fully finished like it was suppose to be if it wasn’t heavily rushed. If it happens, Crash Twinsanity will be an even bigger Masterpiece than ever before and I can die happy 😊❤️💎
Yea the games a Diamond in the ruff and is the best Crash game in my opinion and needs a remake all content in it if we get it and the cancelled sequel and spinoff game could get remade as well for like a trilogy that would be sick 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
I had really good memories with nitro kart twinsanity and tag team racing and mind over mutant i grew up with those ones mainly but never played the originals until the insane trilogy and loved those my fav by far tho and lot of people can agree is definitely twinsanity absolute gem
Agree with Warped being peak Crash experience and the vehicles and powers being well designed, just an amazing 3d platformer. I would say that CTR is peak franchise, but Warped is without any doubt peak platforming.

Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped is my favourite video game of all time. It's the first video game I had as a kid and has aged better than any game for me along with Crash 2.
Crash of the titans dont deserve so much hate. Why t f cant people see this as an perspective of innovation of game mechanic and concept, if we ignore the character change.

that's a list i like. I think WoC is completely underrated and a good follow up to 3. Yes, could have been less vehicle levels, but the platforming feels really good in this game, and the vehicle levels weren't even that bad and controls definitely are decent.
@@XtremeNukeFighters After reading my comment over a year later I would still agree with my list. Don’t get the hate with Bash either.
The reason why i like Crash 2 over Crash 3 is because Warped has too many vehicle levels who often don't run very well because of the stiff controls. It's like they were trying too hard to outclass Crash 2 levels and some truly backfired.
Great list and video! I just think Crash Purple is seriously overhated in the community. I really enjoyed most of the levels, bosses, easter eggs and the bonus levels especially Crate crush and Crate step were really fun imo. Also there's a difficulty option in the Party mode and a multiplayer mode too. It certainly isn't the best Crash game but I think it's a good game that I've always had a great time playing.
Also imo Crash Bash is a really fun game when played with friends.

3 Crash Bash (I know this is far from the best, but i have so many memeries from this one, and I also think the controls ate solid!)

5 Crash Bandicoot TWOC (I actully do think this game is amaizing and really overhated. Every level is totally different and unique, except the 2 water levels. No annoying backtracking like in 2 and 3 also)

Fo me completying crash 2 at 100% was way more difficult than crash 1 in the insane trilogy.
Next rank all the mainline original Spyro games PS1-PS2. I really enjoyed this video.
Well thanks! One day I would like to rank all the Spyro games but the truth is I haven’t played like any of them besides the original trilogy and enter the dragonfly. It was to my understanding none of the other games are really worth playing

Meh Crash Bash is favorite after Crash 3
I had a mixed feeling about Crash 4 cuz it's arguably the best... but it's also so GD hard. I didn't even bother with most of the bonuses so it does stick in my craw a little that swaths of the game are gated to me.
I don't disagree with Crash 3 as the best. It's the only game I've gotten 100% on and the only game in the series I've completed a speedrun on.
N sane trilogy crashes should be rated different from the ogs on PS1 as crash one on PS1 is infinitely easier as much as it's still got a little bit of a challenge.
Crash team racing and crash 3 are my personal favourites
Wish Crash Bandicoot 4 stuck with the classic visual design used in the N. Sane Trilogy however the gameplay was phenomenal

Warped 9/10
Ultimate Crash game. Bosses are great (especially the last one), majority of the levels are great and variety is best of the og trilogy. Challenge is fair, but some relic challenges are kinda bs.
Crash Team Racing 9/10
Best racing game ever made.
Twinsanity 7/10
Mostly very fun game with good gameplay and variety. Best Crash game that Naughty Dog did not make.
Crash Bash 7/10
Much better party game that expected.
Cortex Strike's Back 7/10
I feel that this one is kinda over-rated game. It is good, but it is not as good. There is limited amount of variety and bosses are pretty split with quality.
Crash Bandicoot 7/10
Big issue with this one is the difficulty. It is pretty uneven since some parts are brutal. But it was pretty revolutionary game and impressive show of skill from Naughty Dog.
Mind Over Mutant 6/10
I kinda liked this one, even though most don't. It is pretty batshit insane at some ideas and moves. But story is ok and gameplay is decent.
Crash Team Rumble 6/10
This should been DLC to It's About Time. There is not that much to do and without Spyro. I probably never had played it. But there is potential with many fun characters that are truly different.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time 6/10
I did not warm up to this one. It did not impress with bosses. Challenge is pretty cruel, pretty often and requirements with extras is just insane. Humor is good, but this is not true sequel to Warped. It is fan fic sequel, like Star Wars 7-9.
Nitro Kart 3/10
Pretty poor sequel to CTR. There is no similar feeling with gameplay and overall quality is not even close.
Wrath of Cortex 3/10
Did not do it for me. Gameplay is ok but bosses truly suck. Story is ok, but not told very well. Overall, disappointing game after Warped.

7- Crash Twinsanity 7.5/10 (I want to make it higher but it is shorter than the other previous Crash games and it is not a complete game).

5- Crash 4: It Is About Time 8.3/10 (I also wanted to make it higher but I wish if there more bosses fight, some ideas are just copy from trilogy like N Brio boss is 90% similar to the original one.......etc, so I don't think that the game price should be higher than the N Sane Trilogy since it is not got levels number equal to the three original games together)
4- Crash Bandicoot 1996 8.6/10 (honestly I would rated something around 7.8 to 8.3/10 but I puted it higher and found it deserved around 8.6 or 8.5 because it is the original one and it is the reason why we have Crash series)

Crash of the titans is a bad CRASH game, but the game itself is enjoyable
WoC is my favourite so far (I say so far because talking about PS1 crash games i only completed warped just one time and like 12 years ago, so i kinda forgot about it, 1 and 2 i only made the 4 or 5 first levels 😅and never played CTR)
I really disagree , Yeah Crash of yhe titans was so different to what crash has ever been but its so much fun man especially ur first time playing it co op with a friend it was unique in its own way and not a bad game at all , mind over mutants was the terrible one

I really prefer the Nsane trilogy over the original and I had footage saved of the Nsane trilogy from when I reviewed it a number of years ago

Crash 4 was my fav of all of them, especially the perfect relics and time trials man were they intense.
