FS - How To Tutorial: Adjusting the Mixer - Mixertest

- A new “How to Tutorial” section is being added to the FLYSURFER website and our channels. The Flysurfer team & workshop specialists will be making some “How to Tutorial” videos in the coming weeks on certain points of Flysurfer handling and exchanging of spare parts.
This video demonstrates adjusting the mixer (mixertest), with easy step by step instructions. By adjusting your mixer (possible on all FLYSURFER kites) kites can be fine-tuned and bad flying behaviour can be easily corrected/solved.

These comments make it even more difficult then on the video! 🤣 So after watching the video, reading the comments I want to get this clear: a and z is your anchor point. Then you put c and b on the same level as a and z, fly the kite a few times and control it until it all stays on one level? 👍 I have problems with my sonic 13m2. My weight is 75kg, I have a board rush 137cm. Even with 4bft I don’t manage to keep on going and the sonic doesn’t give me a constant power. Trying the mixer test is my only hope for now.
Hey Jelle, focus on the video, since there it is explained as good as possible. Make A and Z an anchor point, pull with 5kg force, then lock the other side, now you have an equal long A and Z. Now you can start adjusting C so that under 5kg load it becomes equal long, after that you do the B section. Always pull the knots tight around the rings before measuring. The SONIC is a kite which needs flying speed to provide power by apparent wind, it is more racy then a SOUL for example, so needs to be flown active. Best regards.

Hi Armand, there is a small section about it in the manuals, which you can take to the beach, we always suggest to watch the video a few times, this is easier to memorize and check the mixer. All the best, team FLYSURFER
Many thanks for that yes found it printed it and laminated it, I have watched all videos; However, I am over 60 and memory isn't one of my strong points :)
