There's a lot of nuance to networking and reliability is so important. I agree with you about the content creator use cases. Speed tests will not guarantee high performance access. Gotta put it to use.
It would be interesting to see this test run line of site with each tower at the same distance for both carriers. Would eliminate obstructions and signal strength variables. Would probably have to do it 3 times each to get a good average. But I guess it would still be hard to account for individual sector congestion.
I see. I'm excited to see how the X75 modem performs. Looking forward to your videos on it. I always enjoy your content, don't let the trolls get to you.
It’s the uplink that pushes these results. I would imagine Verizon is above 100mbps uplink while T-Mobile is barely cracking a few Mbps. Quite a problem for a number of towers.
Are you closer to the Verizon tower than the T-Mobile tower? I just did a Speedtest for upload at my house and it was at 80 MB per second on T-Mobile when I started this I got both T-Mobile and Verizon Gateway and put them right next to each other that’s why I’m at with T-Mobile now the speed was double, which meant I was closer to a T-Mobile tower than Verizon I believe.
I think I’m closer to the T-Mobile tower but I really don’t know when I started on this road I put Verizon in the same spot I put the T-Mobile Gateway and T-Mobile twice as fast Verizon was still showing 300 MB per second.
@@YurLord because Dan is one of the biggest trolls on here. One week he praises Tmobile , then it’s at&t, then it’s Verizon . He finds one thing wrong he’s back to square one.
This is why content creators that do IRL streaming use Verizon

A lot of storm chasers stream on Verizon by using 5G hotspots like @BrandonCopicWx
Verizon showing there reliability as there know for it not always about speed.
Like you have said many times…RELIABILITY is the key and it’s where Verizon beats the competition👌🏻
Sike.
Facts.
@@YurLord no not facts. I’ve had Verizon for over 20 years and recently the last 2+ years they’ve gotten really bad

T-Mobile has the lowest market share in the industry in my market. They are never congested here. Unless there's an event loading on a site.
Great video SMT. Have you had any issues/improvements on the 14 pro max?
14 pro been solid. I will keep it long term. I'm not a big fan of the os what it is.
Sneed, can you do this same test on opposite sides of each floor of your house? Would it help account for any variables in signal strength?
It's the best spot for T-Mobile. If I did it outside it might help a little bit.
Upload not uplink and use the same phone . Rigged
You people tickle me 😂
Witch s24 series phone are you getting?
I'll try to get the plus.

Verizon network is better optimized then t mobile network
True

@@thanetworknerd t mobile is hitting 600 to 700 hundred on speed test that goes to show people it’s not all about speed

About a mile away for both cell sites.

Do us all a favor, return it and cancel your Verizon service

No
Once again, Verizon ftw 💪🏿
Verizon signal always drop out alot in Michigan. I use ATT prepaid now. ATT works better in my area
Verizon 0.2 mbps down where I live😂
