I literally just switched over last night after 25 years with another carrier and increasing poor coverage and high costs. I’m so excited for this change!
@@johnfernando5429 it’s been great so far (and I have a 15 year old who is on his phone 24/7) - I have notice no service in some places but had increasing issue with that with my other carrier toward the end as well. So far it’s been a great move and I’m very happy I did it!
While you cannot downgrade plan you can upgrade and pay pro-rated amount, so best to get less plan and upgrade later if needed. Mint does offer international roaming but you have to prepay for UpRoam credits.
Ok what is not mentioned here is that she is on the 30 per month. There is also the 15 per month. And you can switch to another plan sooner after the 3 month plan, if not on the 12 month plan. Thank you for the video. I did want to here what the experience is.
Mint is okay but visible is just better 25 a month on Verizon network unlimited everything including hotspot also have support for Apple Watch and is month to month vs mint after they promo to get the lower plan price you have to commit to 12 months at a time or pay higher prices and still have to commit 3 months at a time
I did the bought 3 and got 3 free. I knew before the first three months had gone by i was going to reup a 12 month plan. And plan to reup another 12 months.
Thank you for telling us the cons! You don’t always see that in a sponsored video. I’m switching to Mint in a few days. Best options I’ve found. I’m in north Alabama and tired of paying $75 a month for T Mobile. I work from home so rarely use the LTE. I think I’ll just get unlimited but even that will be $45 cheaper per month saving me about $500 a year. My partner uses Google Fi and I think he pays around $50 a month. These big carriers just keep getting more expensive. I’d love to get your take on home insurance/car insurance as well if you know how to cut costs on that. Thanks!
I like Mint. It just currently doesn't fit my rural life. It's typically fine while driving from point A to point B, but points A and B are usually home, a park to walk the dogs, my favorite winery, off the beaten path bargain store, a hiking trail etc.. Visual Voicemail doesn't work either. But a big plus for Mint is the optional authenticator app security. Have yet to find another provider that has that.
I used this in Philly, South Jersey, The Finger Lakes, Central PA, and NYC from August to November. I mostly had 1 bar of reception and would have zero reception when entering my parents' house. It's worth the initial $15 price if you just want unlimited survival communication/data but not worth the full price in my opinion. I wouldn't want to depend on their service for work purposes. Even in the downtown areas of big cities I often had bad reception.
I would love a social media video. I got rid of all of it except for youtube and so far the extra time I've gained and being able to just learn about things I'm interested in has been incredible.
I appreciate you doing this review, Leila. My step son is thinking of switching to Mint after the first of the year and he will be using your referral code if he does and then in a year when my contract with AT&T runs out, I will likely be switching to Mint and use his. 🙂 Win Win.
I heard there was no physical store, and personnaly I sometimes need someone to physically be there and do something when I have issues. Too bad, because not everyone is a programmer or IT specialist... I certainly an not
Cheapie Charlie here I just subscribed I love this young lady and look forward to more money. Saving ideas I will be looking into switching to mint mobile.
Verizon does work internationally... there may be a specific plan that even includes international service, but I just payed for international service and it wasnt too bad for an entire month of travel. just a one time charge and that's it. sad that mint doesnt cover internationally because then i would be switching right away
Hi. Thanks for sharing. Been thinking about switching. Something you said and I listened a couple times and just need clarification, is about the phone number. Normally when you switch providers you can take your number with you. Are you saying if you switch to mint they own your number and you can no longer switch to a different provider and take your number with you? That’s a big negative for me if that’s the case. I may not switch back to another carrier if I like mint, but having them take ownership of my number if I wanted to switch and having to switch a number after having the same number since I’ve had a cell phone I just am not a fan of that. I’m glad I saw this video before I switched because I was literally going Wednesday to get a new phone and switch to mint for a trial period.
I have looked at mint in the past and it seems they do not offer domestic roaming. Mint coverage is good but not excellent and with no domestic roaming just have to make sure you are not in a no coverage area.
Wish they had the parental controls and location app like the parent app with Verizon. So I just pay an extra $10 with Verizon to have good parental control and location. So I’m the end Verizon for me is only $10 more than mint mobile and I get better parental control and location. Also the deals if $15 month with mint only lasts for so many months and then the price will go up. They don’t mention that when they try to get you signed up
I'm pretty sure I'm not wrong to say that if you pay by the year at 15 a month you've covered a year for $201 after the fees, and you will get the same price for the second year. No Hotspot you and I likely don't need, but with 5 gigs per month I should be pretty well taken care of when I'm away from Wi-Fi. I find no provider that matches this, which suits my needs.
Great explanations and technical descriptions of everything !! I liked Subscribed and Shared !!! I will be very interested if they have good Customer service and Tech Support !!! I have a very good female friend who may need this for her free government and will also research all of this !!! Thank You !!! 😊 🤗 Perfect Timing !!!
I have tmobile and I usually go over 50 gb of data. Considering switching to the unnecessary plan when I switch to mint. Does anyone have any experiences with that over the unlimited plan?

Yay!! Hopefully you love it!
Ha... LoL... just wait a few days and see how the advanced throttling system squeezes your personal bandwidth and service priority
@@MARTINSCHOL-v7f had it almost three months and no issues- but I also work from home and use my wifi most of the time so it was a smart move for me.
How was it so far? I’m thinking about switching from T-Mobile because I’m getting burnout paying $90 a month

Currently I have AT&T, & I keep seeing commercials for Mint mobile. Very informative video from a very beautiful woman.
Thanks for posting ❤.

Just switched today. The data is awesome and call quality is crystal clear
Awesome! Thank you for sharing!
I'd rather an unbiased review, but thank you for being honest and stating that Mint mobile partnered with you for this video and review.

yes @@Jordan-xt9gq
I know my T-Mobile and my Verizon both worked in Mexico and there was no extra per minute charge

I have verizon i been thinking abour switching to this because verizon is too expensive
That’s what I did. I dropped them a month ago and never looked back.
You won't like mint. Trust me. You really get what you pay for. If you don't mind continuous disconnections then mint is for you.
Nice touch with the “mint” shirt miss Leila
Does it also come with mobile hotspot?
I love it just over nine minutes into the video question answered can use my hotspot 😂🎉

Google Fi works out of the country as if you are in the USA

I switched, just sucks they don't offer any support for the Apple Watch...great service otherwise

Thank you for being here!!
How fast does the mint mobile network get back online nationwide after a severe storm?
No you can use your phone internationally with all of the big carriers
Hey Layla 👋😍
Will we be able to keep the sale deal after the 3mo is up if we sign up now?
Right now the sale is 50% off unlimited for 3 months, after that you would pay full price
Verizon does work internationally... there may be a specific plan that even includes international service, but I just payed for international service and it wasnt too bad for an entire month of travel. just a one time charge and that's it. sad that mint doesnt cover internationally because then i would be switching right away
Verizon is 10 dollar a day international
@@Emolga6274 that's not the deal I got
Much cheaper than that
@@Emolga6274 that’s what I payed as well in traveling in Europe and it’s $5 a day in Mexico
Other phone plans (t mobile) works out of the country. Free data and text, you pay 10cents per minute.

Sorry for the confusion! No they don't own your number! You can leave Mint and switch to another provider when you want to and use your same number.
Thx for informative video. Hope u r making a commission off of sales from Mint Mobile. I'm switching my family plan to this.

Have mint 5 gig
I’ll be changing asap.
Can i still keep the same number ?? I have ATT pre paid
Of course!
This is an ad, not a review
Thanks for watching!!
Right, she’s just going on and on not really making any real points I’m mad I’ve washed over 80% of this video and it’s really not telling me crap

Thanks Leila, this will help me with my next trip.

I paid for my own service 🙃

Can you mention what is your current phone.
Google Pixel 7 but when I first switched I had an older Samsung
Any service in Alaska ?
Thank you for sharing
Do you have no phone service while you are waiting for the sim card to arrive?
You just keep your current sim card/service while you wait for it in the mail!
How is it witg international travel
Excellent Review!
Thank you!
Between this or visible plus for 35$ a month what should i get?
Visible for sure

U sound gay
Love your name btw ☺️
Thank you!
I think you have wrong info about international usage. I looked into it specifically and it sounds like you just add it on your Mint app.
Yes you're correct! I didn't ever even realize they have the International roaming credit. I'll definitely try it next time I travel internationally
I have tmobile and I usually go over 50 gb of data. Considering switching to the unnecessary plan when I switch to mint. Does anyone have any experiences with that over the unlimited plan?
Nice
Switched to mint 7 months ago and planning on going somewhere else. Id rather pay more for better service.
used to be good. mint mobile has terrible customer service, if are overcharged
i feel like you are paid by them based on your shirt color LOLOL...just kidding
Unfortunately Mint just announced last Tuesday they are shutting down?!?!?!;-(
No they aren't! There is a budgeting tool called 'Mint' and that is what is shutting down!
Nice eyes you have =)
