I always love how they always say they hate the McPoyles, yet they get the biggest laughs from them every time they show up. And for good reason too, they're so memorable lol.
Mcpoyles are literally the greatest side characters in any comedy series IMO, every time they are on screen it is just pure comedy gold..... Hell they're the reason I got fully invested in the show with "The gang gets held hostage"
@@LT.CarterBlake So you want to be a McPoyle, trashbag? (that was hot. Hot like a 40c summer in a dressing gown with warm milk & a Stockholmed sweet sweet Dee)

That bit epitomizes Danny Devito’s genius acting ability. To not only come up with that hilarious bit, but to do it in a way that is not perfect and fast all the way through, repeating words, starting new sentences before finishing the previous ones.. it’s brilliant
I love that Dee is a bird joke, they always find more things to add to it each time. I also forgot that I learned the term 'browning out' from this show
The way I loved Rick in the Brooklyn 99 reactions is how I love Eric in these. My man turned actual Crayola red several times in one sitting, it was amazing.
One of the best episodes of any sitcom and it brilliantly found a way to work in Kaitlin Olsen’s real life pregnancy into the show. And also invented the term brownout for being so drunk you forget (almost) everything.
I love this episode, it's basically It's Always Sunny does Rashomon, but with everyone being too inebriated to remember what actually happened - I don't know if this episode actually coined the term "browning out", but it's definitely become part of my everyday vernacular ever since watching this episode
It's funny how they want Mac to call their sister, but in the Gang Gets Held Hostage episode, Liam said that his sister is a deaf mute. What would a phone call accomplish?!
I love how in every episode Calvin and Aaron predict exactly what is gonna happen or say exactly what some characters are gonna say before they say it, together with the remark from Eric some episodes ago of “this is such a YOU TWO type of argument” when the characters were arguing nonsensically 🤣 Makes me think that maybe they are alike these characters in some small way and that’s why they don’t like them 😂
I love how Frank doesn't change the "that was extremely masculine" line when he gives his perspective about the evening, because he doesn't want to hurt Charlie's feelings. Only when Mac tells the story it changes to the very likely real line, that Charlie misheard.
Frank explaining the dumpster him will always make me laugh so much, especially him admitting that he enjoys it. Throw in Rob (Mac) trying not to laugh, it’s just a classic moment.
In the behind the scene/bloopers Danny DeVito kept falling asleep in the Mcpoyle's home because it was so late, the room was hot and they were just relaxing on the couch.
It's still strongly implied that dee and Dennis accidentally had sex due to the costume swap as Dennis still vividly remembers having sex with the peacock lady, though this could also be a false memory caused by his own narcissism
Ive noticed, theirs literally never any evidence that suggest the mcpoyles story wasnt true. Dennis may not have been the dad but i think it not unlikely they did sleep together.
-------- SLIGHT SPOILERS -------- Funny. It seems like they forgot (except maybe Eric who's keeping quite on purpose) about the Dee surrogate episode. If so, that's great. It will make the reveal all the more surprising.

McPoyles and Ponderosas are the GOATs 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I mean McPoyles are disgusting maybe that's why

Dee slowly turning into an actual bird, until she's literally an ostrich, is one of the funniest gags in the entire series.
That ostrich reveal still has me spitting my warm milk out every time
SQUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWK
To think we were this close to having Charlie Day in a Luigi Costume almost a decade early 😂
"YOU WILL CALL *HEERRRRRRRRR!!!* "
Gold. Absolute gold. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
11:47 I don’t know how anyone expects that phone call to go down between Mac and Margret being she’s a DEAF MUTE and all😂
Beat me too it
YOU WILL CALL HEEEEEEEER!!!!
Omg. It's been almost 14 years since this episode aired and I've never thought about that😂
She took the- the dough and rolled it up into a ball, and then she - We were going berserk. She loves that kind of stuff. And I-I admit I do too.
I also forgot that I learned the term 'browning out' from this show
Browning put is such a good and useful phrase, I'm also known to drop a jabroni every now and again because of this show
YOU WILL CALL HER!!!
I thought for sec he said mcboyle honor!
Which wouldn't accomplish anything because in the Gang Gets Held Hostage episode, Liam said his sister is a deaf mute lmao
The way I loved Rick in the Brooklyn 99 reactions is how I love Eric in these. My man turned actual Crayola red several times in one sitting, it was amazing.
I can’t believe Kaitlyn actually had interspecies surgery for this episode to actually become an ostrich. Super committed
Method acting at its finest
I can't put it past her 😂
She dont drop the character until the commentary on the DVD is released /Tropic Thunder
"We had some makeup sex in a dumpster out in the back of Wendy's"
One of the greatest lines ever spoken 🥰
The dumpster scene with the sounds😂
The smash cut to Artemis and Frank going at it in a closed dumpster is ABSURD 😂
Dee as an ostrich might just be my favorite bit in the entire show.
Charlie’s illiteracy is a close second for me
One of the best episodes of any sitcom and it brilliantly found a way to work in Kaitlin Olsen’s real life pregnancy into the show. And also invented the term brownout for being so drunk you forget (almost) everything.
9:06 Kaitlin Olson voiced the ostrich
damn it! i was gonna comment on that haha
Also, fun fact: the main McPoyle played the character that became Mac in the super early short film they made that eventually became this show.
11:51 Jimmi Simpson went from THIS, to Westworld and The Bad Batch!!!🤣🤣🤣
I love this episode, it's basically It's Always Sunny does Rashomon, but with everyone being too inebriated to remember what actually happened - I don't know if this episode actually coined the term "browning out", but it's definitely become part of my everyday vernacular ever since watching this episode
The ostrich bit took me out completely back in the day, and the same applies more than a decade later
Macwell and the clap always get me
“Stop it. Dude, that’s your sister!”
the McPoyles are just comedy gold
When you said “hopefully it’s not Dennis”, I burst out laughing knowing what was about to happen
The overlooked part is the deaf mute is expecting a phone call 😂
You guys have to watch the bloopers.
It's funny how they want Mac to call their sister, but in the Gang Gets Held Hostage episode, Liam said that his sister is a deaf mute. What would a phone call accomplish?!
Dee becoming an actual, full-blown ostrich, makes me laugh much harder than it has any right to 😂
23:16 Couldn't... agree... more. 👏👏👏👏👏
The woman is a national treasure. SWEET DEE!!! 🤘😎🤘
I was at their first live show podcast taping and Jimmi Simpson came and did the "You will Call herrrr!!!" line for us.
god it was great.
The Remaining Episodes in This Season are All Classics, Can't Wait 😂
First episode of the series I ever saw, Hooked me right away. Love how Aaron predicted the costume switch
Fun fact : That baby is belongs to Mac (in real life)😂
Dee luring the Phantom of the Opera is just so Phantom of the Opera.
I love how in every episode Calvin and Aaron predict exactly what is gonna happen or say exactly what some characters are gonna say before they say it, together with the remark from Eric some episodes ago of “this is such a YOU TWO type of argument” when the characters were arguing nonsensically 🤣

Dee being an actual giant bird was amazing. The slow build up of feathers to an eventual giant bird is top teir.
It still blows my mind that one of the McPoyles is Hemlock from the Bad Batch!
It's mind-blowingly funny that Jimmi Simpson is Hemlock, William from Westworld, aaaaaand he plays Liam McPoyle
cant wait for you guys to react to bloopers
God, the McPoyles are fkn hilarious! 😂😂😂
Another bonkers episode! Great reaction once again Wave Crew!
Oh, I've been waiting for this one in particular this season.
Margaret is deaf yet still expects Mac to call
YOU'LL CALL HERRRRRR
It's still strongly implied that dee and Dennis accidentally had sex due to the costume swap as Dennis still vividly remembers having sex with the peacock lady, though this could also be a false memory caused by his own narcissism
Many thanks to Eric, Calvin and Aaron! 🌞
you guys don't know museums come to life at night?
in that documentary, Night at Museum narrated by Ben Stiller.
I love the chemistry you guys have!
“Dont flush” 😂
9:05 - This bit. I have been waiting for them to get to this specific joke all season.
YOU WILL CALL HER!!!!!!!!!!!
Omg, I love this episode so much 🤣
It's funny because in all their memories, Dee's clearly already pregnant
Aaron asks who the father can be and running through the list, lol
One of the mcpoyles was in Westworld, once you see it you can’t unsee it
Link's shield in the back ❤
I love the fact that it's plausible the show could go there
Man spider 😂
Nothing like watching Always Sunny reactions while its raining.
“she loves that kinda stuff. and I I-I-I-I I admit I do too”
"Don't flush." 🤣
This is one of my favorite episodes so funny and well written 😂
One of the best McPoyle scenes ever
Don’t flush…
Yes. Bloopers please! :)
Are they ever going to do the bloopers? The mcpoyle bloopers for this episode are hilarious
Can't wait until the review of season 8 episode 3. My favorite episode from the entire series.
I love that they want Mac to call her even though she is deaf
2:18 a locked womb mystery
Margret is a deaf mute but she's still expecting a call
"We had some makeup sex in a dumpster out the back of Wendy's" 🤣🤣🤣
Top 5 episode for me
I've been waiting for this one 😂
The hilarity of her saying one of them got her pregnant, then told them it was a joke, but obviously one of them did actually get her pregnant lol
Ive noticed, theirs literally never any evidence that suggest the mcpoyles story wasnt true. Dennis may not have been the dad but i think it not unlikely they did sleep together.
U def gotta do a reaction to all the bloopers
you will call HER!!!!
I'm laughing at them floating around the idea that Dee's baby could've been a Mcpoyle baby. Let's just say the Mcpoyles have a type and it ain't Dee
Please post THE BEAR 2X09 reaction !
To be honest... I kinda wanted to see that Night at the Museum episode.
You will call her!!!
-------- SLIGHT SPOILERS --------
Funny. It seems like they forgot (except maybe Eric who's keeping quite on purpose) about the Dee surrogate episode. If so, that's great. It will make the reveal all the more surprising.
They were planning a Night at the Museum thing before Dee ruined it. Lol
btw I stand by my statement that he should've been Mario not Luigi.
Pretty sure the hamburger bun dialogue by Frank was scripted
Worst Episode of the whole Show imo....
you just hurt my brain
How?! This is a highlight episode for me lol
Imagine not appreciating a Rashoman.
