if you're gonna make a short about the difference between purple and blue shampoo you should show the results ...
My thoughts exactly
Um she did? You can clearly see the difference when shes rinsing it out lol
@mermaidhot3l the left still looks purple though. Wasn't fully rinsed.
@@mermaidhot3lactually she didn't. And it was still wet while she was still rinsing it. Couldn't see anything
Well.. she is mainly explaining how it works though😂 but a tip instead of being such a disrespectful person. Go and find another video that does exactly what you want to see. And as a blonde purple works wonders. So if you think she might be lying I can tell you she isn't.
WHERE ARE THE RESULTSSSSSS??
They both looked pretty good. Neither had yellow or orange.
Yellow is the reason for pretty
Maybe show the results dry so we can actually see??
Thanks for showing the results, oh wait.
True, It is important to know the color wheel but which one? The traditional RYB color wheel is the norm in this industry but I’ve been using the modern CYM color wheel lately and I must say it has help me a lot. In it, the yellow is canceled by (deep) blue. That’s maybe why a lot of people are saying the prefer the blue side.
I just look for one that has green opposite red sice i know for a fact as a makeup artist that green canceles out red on the face, its also important to remember that pink is just a light red
Believe is the traditional but it mostly just matters that you match its opposite. So like if your hair is more of a teal then green a more orangy red would work better than straight red. So since hair turns more gold then straight yellow mixing blue and purple for a violet shampoo works better
And you didn't show us the final result, not even a little.
Simples
Yellow + Red + Blue = platinum bonde
purple = blue + red
orange hair = yellow + red == add blue
yellow hair = yellow == add red + blue (purple)
@@evgtikh3567 What if you have yellow and orange hair mixed up?
What difference??
You don’t see it?
Not much... they needed 1 more minute on this video
Purple made it more gray, blue made it more white
Purple shampoo takes out yellow tones (on the left) blue shampoo takes out orange tones(on the right) that is why it looks the same on both sides after she rinses.
So much for the results🤷♀️
I also discover that blue or purple shampoo dries your hair. And I have asian thick and very forgiving hair … but still dry a lot! So blonde is not for me, I prefer to make a caramel balayage on my dark hair which required way lesa maintenance and my hair is much more healthy.
Yellow looks good
The blue looked better imo, it's lighter than the purple side. When I was in art class, we were taught to use blue to dull yellow and vice versa. Color wheels were different 9 years ago. I've found one that's the same as back then while Google searching
How color wheels can be different ?
I don't think color theory has changed.
Yellow + blue = green.
Always has. Always will.
To neutralize yellow add violet and vice versa.
I think the real reason for blue working better in this instance is that his mids and ends were yellow-orange.
The color is similar to what happens to white pets and people with naturally white hair. It gets this yellow-orange color that kinda looks like a pee stain. Use blue shampoo to whiten it.
Back in my grandma’s time they used clothes bluing to brighten white hair and fur. Identical principle.
They don’t “cancel” each other. They mix to create brown. Mix red and green paint. Mix purple and yellow markers. Nice orange and blue anything! And you’ll get brown
I’m learning so much. Thanks
😂
I use manic panic ultra violet. This is a mixture of blue and purple.
Do they have a shampoo or you mean you use the temporary dyes?
@@thatgirlaju you mix a very small amount with conditioner to use it as a toner :)
I like how I just wanted purple shampoo because I miss my natural dirty blonde
Personally I would prefer blue shampoo as I love having blond hair, it looks exactly lik Eminem’s. Taking the orange out I used purple shampoo and it did well, I just had to leave it for a minute if not 2
Dumb question: but is the goal to cancel the opposing color? i was told when you try to go blonde to wash your hair with purple shampoo so you dont get the yellow orange undertones.
Thanks for not showing results 🤔
If you had lightened it properly, you wouldn't need so much toning. Also, why wouldn't you permanently tone it so it didn't need colored shampoo with each wash?
OK, this cut off too soon. You said there is a clear winner and then you cut away from it so we couldn’t see it.
So the blue is the winner, right?
No. Purple.
Yes you are correct :) BLUE cancels ORANGE
@@GmAjb58The hair is yellow in this case.
@@Ysally13 I used to only use purple shampoo and it [used to] [or so I thought it did] work "good" for brightening and toning my blonde hair within the day or two that I used mistakenly use purple shampoo and conditioner. However, I could never understand or get to the bottom of why I ended up with a purple tint to my dyed blonde hair. Luckily I to learn more about why this might be happening to me watching and learning from Brad Mondo UA-cam videos. Specifically if I had recently dyed my hair blonder and ultimately use purple shampoo or conditioner it always, every single time, annoyingly, had me frustrated with purple hair! me that tint that lasted at least, 2 weeks! I now ONLY, tone my recently d y e d blonde hair using only, blue conditioner and blue shampoos that my hair would brighten and lighten even further and look absolutely gorgeous and very impressive to friends and family who know that for the past 30 years I have dyed my hair and it's always ended up having that purplish Hue and tint to it because I was using purple shampoo and conditioners I need to stick to the blue shampoos and conditioners hence that is why my hair would actually lighten up brighten up and become much healthier and bye-bye to the purple that lingers for weeks! Thank goodness I came across Brad Mondo on the UA-cam And it became quite the head scratcher, pardon the pun it became a conundrum as to why my hair behaved healthier before I colored my hair! Now I exclusively only use Brad Mondo's line of blue conditioner and blue shampoos. I hope MY errors in the "purple vs blue" shampoo/conditioner toner journey helps your blonde hair health too! Good Luck!
I don’t see much of a difference once it was rinsed off
Blue shampoo could turn green, yellow+blue is green
Results would have been nice!?
It looked like the blue side was better?!?
What It My hair has both ?
What’s a good high concentration of blue drops? Or a good blue shampoo
I have some yellow and some orange, help!
Well my roots are more orange while the rest is yellow so should I use them both?
Looks the same
you have one of the most controversial hair pages because tell me how you’re really confident about this, but you didn’t show us the results 😂
Can i use both colors in a row?
does red cancel green?
Omg half the boys at my school have been bleaching their hair and it turns out completely yellow
What if your dying your hair purple? And you need to bleach it first? Should I still use a toner/purple shampoo in between?
No because the purple color will cover it, toning just for when you don’t want brassy tones in blonde hair
@@trinitijackson214 even if I’m doing a pastel? (I’ve had it come out more brown before because the yellow also cancels the purple)
No but u have to make sure its the correct shade of blonde for the purple to stick and not just tone out of he yellow or brassiness
I need green. I can’t get this red out!
Green and red are the hardest colors to get out. Except. Black. Lol
Matrix has a green! It’s called dark envy
Just get a green dye like manic panic or something and mix with conditioner. Don’t put too much green. But Do a strand test and this should cancel out the red! It worked for me!
@@Ooxxlsnot for me I never had trouble removing any colors out of my head surprisingly, they usually fade out very nicely and 5 min of bleach bam gone
They looks the same.Maybe you should’ve added the hair being dry so we can really see the difference
which one is blue
They both looked the same as far as results go though ….
Can we mix the 2 shampoo ?
I do
Which was the blue side and which was the purple side as both shampoos looked the same?
Right is blue.
Where do you purchase blue shampoo? All I can find is purple.
@@ElizabethBodnam Fanola has a blue one.
Errr, when bleaching brown/dark hair, we tend to have both yellow and orange colors. So a violet blue toner is best so it cancels both. You didn't show results so this short sucked.
Hi, I have black hair and looking to go vanilla blonde can you help with steps and which products I need to use to get this?
Still confused after barely noticeable results per usual 😫
You showed nothing, why? 😢
Too quick. Show the results
I wanted my hair purple now it’s red. Help how can I fix this?
I'm more worried about the sentence tattoo on her forehead lol than the yellow😊good luck
T18 fixes everything
No not orange
So a blonde hair dye will cancel violet
Can i leave blue for orange hair for full 30 min
How do I remove purple from my grey hair? My hair has not been bleached nor lightened, just dyed with simi permanent purple dye.
the easiest and safest way which is washing with deep cleansing shampoo several times
Where is the other (blue) video?
result pls.
Where is the difference?
Can u use both mines to blonde period not yellow not orange it’s bright blonde
Where is the actual result?! 😂😅
They look the same on the 1 sec shot you showed…
They look the same
Shut up because of this video I bought purple shampoo and it didn’t work this is your sign to buy toner
You definitely failed 😂
Violet
Well i have blonde highlights and oragne on the base what should i do?
Blue will cancel ur orange
❤
This video is pointless without results after its been finished rinsed out and dried.......
How do I avoid my bleached hair to come out purple with the purple shampoo
Dilute it x
Shaft 😂🙊
wow what a garbage short
They both look great but yeah the purple is better
Anyone tell me the difference if I use the milkshake icy blonde vs silver shine?
I have zero pigment hair. ZERO.
I NORMALY SILVER SHINE MY HAIR TO A BRIGHT PURPLE (inside lights) and blueish if outside (sunlight)
It goes white. To purple AF to grey dulls out into silver/plat back to a not nice grey dull with purple hints and back to pure white If I don't add more purple for 12 days.
If I did that with icy blonde.
And I go clean hair well then conditioner then I leave the silver shine on thick nice lather..then add excess purple till it's the right tint and then leave it in (dry or lightly mosit hair) 25-35 (if hairs wet I hope in tanning bed)if hairs dry aside from the purple. 35-75 mins if you don't use it on dry hair. Drys the hair out bad, but I wait after I rinse it.. another 15 mins for the hair to dry, or if I instantly conditioner it it alters the results to diluted/dull color results as the conditioner removes/stripes the purple stain if you don't let it dry a bit.
Now
My question..
With the above information I shared.
If I use the icy blonde (black shampoo)
In the way I do with purple... Wouldn't that just make me y white hair black if I lathered well and caked it in and left in as I do with the silver shine?
Before I try it I don't want black hair lol
