Your Video is the simplest video I've ever seen 👏🏿, is pretty much straight to the point with the essentials needed,
the other videos I've seen they almost take the whole dashboard off...
I just finished doing mine it took me about 2hrs.
ps. the hardest part is just routing the cable from the top to the bottom
MAZDA 3 2015 Hatchback. ordered the module from Amazon less than $100

@@ballarinc2123 I mean, my car has a Bluetooth phone connection built in as standard and you can receive calls and play music. If I want to put the Android Auto on, will I lose these wireless functions and it can only be connected via cable? Thanks for the helpful video. I just upgraded my 2014 Mazda3. The hardest part for me was routing the wires. I would have liked to see a little more detail on how to do that. I ended up using a flexible rod and tape to fish the wires. At 1:30, it took me a while to notice you had removed the large lower panel.

Thank you so much for the video. I just installed a retrofit kit bought from Amazon Canada. It worked well for the first month, but now I am facing serious issues with the system. If I drive the car for more than 45 minutes to 1 hour, AA gets disconnected and reconnects back in 10 seconds; eventually it gets disconnect completely. To get it to work again, I need to turn off the engine and wait, like, for around 10 minutes. Initially, I thought something was wrong with my USB cable, and I replaced it with a newer one, but it still didn't fix the issue.

Thank you for the video! I followed your instructions after updating from firmware version 59.xx to 74.xx and installed the new hub. However, after installing it, I noticed something weird. I have no Apple Carplay or Android Auto options under Applications. They just don't appear there. I double checked the system version and it's running 74.xx NA, but something must have gone wrong. Luckily, everything works as before. In fact, the system just starts up much faster now, but this entire surgical endeavor was meant to enable AA/AC, but I have no luck. I've also had no luck finding a solution as I couldn't find any reports of users installing both the new firmware and the retrofit kit and not seeing the AA/AC options at all.
Would anyone happen to have run into this? Any ideas on what I could do to fix it? Thank you in advance!
