Mazda CX8 is on version 7, but there is no car play option on the screen. If I plug in this device, will the carplay or android auto option appear on the screen? Otherwise, it will ask me to send a program above 7000.2 to the screen. I would be grateful if you could inform me.
Can the usb c port output digital sound? That is, if I listen to music from a USB stick and connect a USB C cable to the DSP, will it receive a digital signal?
Hi, I already installed the P3 with the latest firmware 7.00.367A. Wireless carplay is working flawless. Unfortunately with android auto, I cannot get it work, already using the top port that have phone icon but it's always give me slow charge and no android auto pop up confirmation. Fyi, I already using the original cable that is working fine at my other car with android auto wired. Also at multimedia selection I got apple carplay at usb1. Also cannot use the port with usb stick, if I use the 2nd slot then it can read my usb stick properly. Do I get the faulty product? Or is there anything I could check further?
hi I got the reply from Customer Service team, it looks like we are missing some information. if you look closely, there's a switch behind SD Card cover, it's a very small switch at the bottom right corner, I need to use toothpick to switch it... when wireless carplay enabled, we cannot use wired carplay/android auto... but if you switch it, wireless carplay will be disabled, then wired carplay & android auto is available... so you need to choose which mode do you want to use...
Anybody had a fix yet. Mine is switched via the tiny switch to Android Auto but its greyed out on the screen. Tried 2 phones and 2 cables.......still not working.
Compre wireless pero no funciona. En la pantalla parece apple CarPlay y android CarPlay pero no me deja elegir CarPlay. Conectando bluetooth pero no me sale CarPlay. Alguien sabe que tengo que hacer para usar?
que version de software tenes ? segun lei tenes que tener desde la 7000.2 en adelante, si no no funciona , adonde lo compraste? tengo una cx3 y necesito comprar el wireless para instalarselo

Does the P3.1 support wired Apple car play as well or is it just wireless when using an iPhone?
you need to convert it into the wired mode if you want to use the wired carplay function.

but if you switch it, wireless carplay will be disabled, then wired carplay & android auto is available...
