    for the steel, try automotive engine coat, barbecue grill coat, and brake caliper coat. These are all high-temp paints. It would be interesting to see if they are more or less liable to burn or blister than latex and enamel rattle can paints. For the glass, maybe try a frost paint or a window tint cling. Find the burnability of coatings.

    Definitely a valid experiment. A 100 watt amp isn't twice as loud as a 50 watt one. You'd need 500 Watts to double the volume. So not always obvious.

      Thank you! I wasn’t sure if would be double or not. Pretty much is though

    "No more realising you put the first piece on backwards", i've done that plenty of times before lol, Great video but i contacted Creality today and it does NOT come with the honeycomb mesh base, only the free promotional packs came with that

      @KingBespokeCreations  Рік тому +2

      That’s a shame, though even then I’m not sure why it was small?

      @@KingBespokeCreations yes ive seen a few people mention that, apparently a 50x50 will fit under it which is bigger than the actual work area so think thats what i'll get, ordered the same laser this morning so can't wait. Your vids are great btw very down to earth and easy to follow, i too have no idea about colours and wavelengths so it was nice to hear that rather than baffling me with all the jargon lol.

    Great video I am looking to buy a Creality Falcon2 but was torn between purchasing a 22W or a 40W as I did not want to purchase one and then regret it later, pay me now you paid me once pay me later you paid me twice.
    I am buying it so that I can learn to use Adobe Illustrator and be able to design and cut out the parts needed to build my own structures vs having to buy craftsman kits from various companies at US extorted prices as I live in Canada and there is no free trade just a 42% exchange rate between US or even UK currency and Canadian Dollar.
    Again thank you so very much for the best informative video on the Creality Falcon2 Laser cutter.

    My Falcon 2 arrived today very easy assembled but finding light burn a bit of a learning curve having never used a laser.

    I've heard rubbing a bar soap on clear or reflective surfaces before engraving or cutting works well, then just rinse off with water after. I haven't tried it tho.

    Nice review. Good job highlighting the differences. The hand held “camera” is distracting as you tend to waver back and forth while talking so the background is constantly moving. I would suggest hard mounting it, or try to stay still.

    Would it be possible to do a video on how you programme the laser to do what you want?

      @KingBespokeCreations  Рік тому +3

      To be honest I’m still figuring out most of that myself! I use Lightburn software and there loads of great videos on UA-cam on how it works 👍

    How about engraving/cutting into pickup covers? I assume they have to be bare nickel silver without any plating.

    • @KingBespokeCreations
      @KingBespokeCreations  Рік тому +1

      The issue is see through/reflective material.

    • @ErebosGR
      @ErebosGR Рік тому

      @@KingBespokeCreationsI know. I think raw nickel silver is rough enough for the laser to work. It works for pickup manufacturers anyway. I just don't know if they use any special coatings or tricks to help the laser cut through.

    • @KingBespokeCreations
      @KingBespokeCreations  Рік тому +1

      Absolutely, but these also give a different appearance to engraving too. And there’s no way I could out that tree and sell it for anything less £100 by hand!

    Don't laugh but have you tried to spray acrylic or glass with hairspray and let it dry, then cut it? It makes it opaque instead of clear and can be washed off.
