I’m really excited to see you try out some Paula’s Choice products. I feel like they have some gems you will love. If you find the Defense Gel to Cream Cleanser gentle, then you will be blown away by the Resist Optimal Results Cleanser. It’s the most gentle cleanser on the market, IMO, and it has a pump bottle. I love the Omega moisturizer, but I only use it in the dead of dry winter or when I have a severely compromised barrier, otherwise it’s too heavy and I get pilling too.
Hi Kelly the main switch out for me is my night time moisturiser at this time of year - from a very rich cream (the LRP Lipikar used face, neck and chest) to the lighter LRP cicaplast as a sleeping pack over the pyunkang yul blue ato cream. I have very dry/dehydrated skin prone to both rosacea and eczema. In the Winter (Scotland) I need something very occlusive to keep the water in my skin overnight, but as the weather changes the body creams can be a little heavy. I've also changed out my daytime moisturiser to the PC calm restoring moisturiser and the co ordinating calm spf30 normal/dry layered over my serums. I've just finished the FAB ultra repair cream (old formula) which I used alternating with the ato cream over the Winter. As we've been in full lockdown since December, I've been using up the purito unscented centella spf and the keep cool spf in my house, with the low UV index and darker days in mind (I don't wear them outside). The chemical spf's I have been trying have caused a few issues with irritation, so although I find mineral spf's drying I've been using the PC calm one mostly. For a mineral spf it has a lot of hydrating ingredients and over a decent moisturiser is working ok just now. I will want a higher spf for the height of Summer, so I'll be trialling more over the coming months. I bought the FAb oat toner and am enjoying it layered with the soon jung toner and the cosrx dual chamber essence/serum. Best wishes.
“Nobody needs this many serums” I can’t hear you over the dumb thing I did opening a bunch of TONERS at the same time and now I better 7-skin to high heavens or pour a bunch of money down the drain basically. And if it makes you feel any better I have about four sunscreens open right now, two of which are 100ml or bigger, one of them also smells of sunscreen and it’s stuck on my nose and I can’t un-smell. I don’t know if it’ll help you any but I use aloe Vera gel every morning as like... a serum/lotion step idk before moisturiser, my face really likes it, but the gel I have pills something terrible, and I found that mixing it with something more emollient than itself (in my case the CosRx moisturiser or a drop of oil) helps tremendously. You could try mixing that Paula’s Choice moisturiser with a heavier moisturiser or with a drop of oil and see how it goes? If only I could do it to my sunscreen that likes to gather and bunch up around my hairline and brows, but I don’t dare mix anything into SPF.
Hi Kelly, great video as always. I just tried the Dr.G - Green Mild Up Sun Plus which I love so far, I bought it on yesstyle. I'm wondering why no one is talking about it, have you tried it by any chance? It is mineral but wears beautifully with little to no white cast. Would love to know your thoughts on it
I just recently purchased the Olivarrier Barrier Wash cleanser. They also sell a barrier moisturizer to go with it, but I haven’t tried that yet. I’ve only had it a week, but so far it feels like a respectful low pH cleanser (that does slightly foam.) My skin is dry/dehydrated to combination and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped or tight.
Hi Kelly, I've been using the Omega Complex moisturizer for two months now and haven't noticed pilling. That said, when I use the good molecules eye patches, then the moisturizer it's pill central!
Hi Kelly. Please make a video on good moisturizer that is enough for dehydrated skin but acne prone. Its really hard to strike a balance. When want to tackle the dehydrated issue, then will have clog pores issue 🥲. Btw I’m so glad to have found my reference for skincare because our skin type and concern is almost the same. Dehydrated+acne prone and sensitive+ combination skin. Cheers
It's like you read my mind! I'm putting together my Spring haul and can't make up my mind about a new moisturizer. Also, what do you think about the Peach & Lily brand? Would love for you to do a video on them 💖💖💖
So I got my first ever facial peel and I have been using Sebamed clear gel. Short ingredients list that is packed with hydrators and soothers, it made me think of you. It has aloe vera, glycerin, allantoin, panthenol and Sodium Hyaluronate
Every time I see you apply products to your left hand to demonstrate consistency, I wonder if your right hand looks as good! The back of that left hand gets a lot of products! I love your videos. I, too, and a toner/essence fanatic, so I LOVE hearing your thoughts and recommendations. I have a couple on the way based on your reviews!
I've been using Stratia LG for about a month now and my skin has never felt so healthy. Worth every penny, definitely worth every penny having it sent to the UK:)
I’ve been using it for the past month and my skin feels soothing. My skin is so dry and irritated and red! So this has helped. I’m also using the rewind essence.
HI, I'm appriciate to find you here! Love your suggestions so much. I have similar skin concern as you, but I do have irritation around my nose and cheek part. I did try the Omega mosturizer One from Paula's choice and I had got some irritations plus pimples. What a pity! Lovely to have you here.
I’m trying Missha FTE after I watched your SKII video, wow I think my pores are smaller, my face is brighter & plumper. I haven’t even used it for a week yet! Thank you for your recommendation.

Just discovered your channel and just subscribed, you are so wonderful at explaining each product and I have been trying to find what works for me. So I am binge watching your videos 😁
We had our first humid day today and I realized that soon I will have to change up a few things. I realized my LRP milk melt in sunscreen will be too heavy. I cant seem to settle on a new sunscreen. I still love my Dr Ceuracles but I will probably use more at night. I believe I have the Beauty of Joseon Ginsing and the Cosrx duo on the way thanks to you lol. I may add the Stratia Gold next fall.
I recently tried that Canmake sunscreen. I am enjoying it. It doesn't irritate my eyes which is one of my main requirements for a sunscreen. My eyes are very sensitive to sunscreen. Just the other day I was using an Elta MD sunscreen and my eyes started burning and tearing when I was driving. Not a good experience.
Emptied out my 500ml Tony Moly Ceramide Mochi toner. It took about a year!! I added in Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium (light) and I've been seeing results.
This was so helpful! I’ve been thinking about getting the PC Omega Serum but then wasn’t sure if I should get the serum or moisturizer. I have oily skin so I don’t live thick creams. Think I’m going to go with the serum!
Just want to share some info that you probably know and have dealt with. My understanding is that tret shouldn't go under an occlusive/petrolatum mask. I thought of this when you mentioned you use one over your mouth area when you have face mask irritation.
do you still use the mizon snail eye cream? Would you still recommend it? Thanks for sharing and posting these videos with us, I truly appreciate it! :)
Hi Kelly, I am using the Stratia line at the moment: cleanser, vita CC serum, rewind serum, exfoliant )mandolin acid) and of course Liquid gold, with the Oil fortify, and night shift :) As you can see a Stratia fan in here. I have to say I like all the products in terms of texture except the rewind serum (too sticky). So far I also did not see any results from the serum (I need more time) but all the others have me in love with Stratia brand!!! Did you try the Aéne sunscreen for sensitive skin SPF 50? I started it today and I do like it so far. Tell me your thoughts Note: Love your channel, content and recommendations !! You are the best :)
RNW ceramide serum has been amazing for me, acne prone, very oily t zone and dry cheeks (your recommendations are amazing always!). Just bought the the RNW cleanser and I’m excited to try it 😍
Hi Kelly, i was wondering if you can do a review of the brand: Elizavecca? 😳 I was scrolling through the internet and i saw a few interesting products, but i have to know your opinion. Love you ❤️❤️
That news was so horrible that the isntree micellar cleansing oil has been discontinued😨 I've been wondering why it's out of stock all the time... Can you please inform us if any new cleansing oil hits all the requirements of efficacy and being gentle for the eyes! Why on earth would they discontinue a hit product like that??! There are so many new products in your basket that I do want to try, I’m looking forward to seeing your review on the PC products. I have been interested in trying them, and so many other products in that basket especially the well ageing ones. Now that we are in Autumn downunder I am doing a switch in my basket to more cold weather products instead. Stay healthy, safe and sane with lots of love from Australia ❤️😊

I wasn't the biggest fan of the PC omega moisturizer. I agree with the pilling. Ingredients were nice, but the user experience left me wanting. I ended up giving this one to a friend that is just starting into skincare and needed products.

Sadly the Cerave Moisturizing cream is a no for me, it really triggers milia under my eyes 😥 So I am using my Illiyoon and experimenting with some other moisturizers like Facetheory and the Purito sleeping mask!
Loveeeeeeee your videos and product recommendations SO much! I just bought the isntree spf and beauty of joseon glow serum, I can’t wait to try them out
Your skin is just just glowing 🌟 I’ve been going back and binge watching your videos! My skin is in trouble! So dry, sensitive, irritated and red (I do have rosacea)! I have been severely stressed and it’s definitely showing up on my skin! I just don’t know what to do? 🤷♀️
I have the exact same skin this week from stress, I find keeping my skin cooler has helped and moisturised and it's going down super slowly but I also use the la Roche posy cica cream over my moisturiser every night which helps as well
I'm guessing it's young ginseng so no anti-aging benefits. Formulas with wild ginseng which is at least 4 years old are expensive. Joseon was actually fined for claiming their ginseng serum was "anti-aging" and it is not.
I think I have normal/sensitve skin, but very sensitive eyes! I'm acne-prone (closed comedones/whiteheads) but also eczema-prone, do you have "must-have" product recommendations for me? :)
Hi I have rosacea and eczema (super sensitive) and have been trialling the paula's choice calm 1% bha serum. I use a lot of heavy creams and had noted a little congestion on nose and chin. This had a slight tingle, but no irritation and has cleared out those slightly congested pores. it's available in a travel size to try (I got the travel calm kit to try) and may be a good fit for you. I hope that helps. I think if you apply it just to the acne prone areas it might be enough to help within a minimal routine. Best wishes.
Reallyyy!??? I did not have the peeling with the Omega complex moisturizer from PC :/.... weird hahaha... maybe a dif. Batch ? Hmmm I just love it haha I though you were going to love it too because of the Stratia Liquid Gold one :'(
The PC is $10 more and an oz less product than liquid gold. So I wouldn't be interested but I realize you are a skincare reviewer and you have to try new things😂 I have 2 bottles of the isntree serum, I bought it on sale and like it. I also use the cosrx snail essence in my serum step and when that's gone Im trying the one you mentioned here. ☺
Hi Kelly - perhaps you could think about doing a video on all the products you love that don’t have niacinamide for us people who can’t tolerate it ? 😊
Hey. Do u have rosacea or allergies? I have both. I started having extreme burning yesterday. The only thing I could put on my face and it not burn was cos rx snail mucin. I’m beginning to wonder if it’s my allergies causing rosacea flare. I took meds for allergy and tdy I could put a little more on my face. Have appt with Derm this evening. Just curious if u have ever heard about this.
I have allergies and it can lead to more sensitivity and inflammation on the skin when they flare up. When your immune system is on high alert all kinds of funky things can happen. I do have a small patch of eczema that flared up last month and it totally is related to allergies/cold weather/mask wearing/stress. Definitely something worth discussing with your derm.
I have both. A rosacea flare can be caused by product without doubt. I hope you get something to help from the Derm. I have seasonal allergies as well as some insect bite allergies. There are many many many products my reactive skin will not tolerate. I do take an antihistamine for my allergies and clonidine from my Doctor to limit flushing. Best wishes.
U have encouraged me to buy more products than any other channel. I love ur recomendations.. it funny because I pretty much always have the products in ur backround even tho ur always switching them up.
I always find so many new goodies when I watch your videos! Ahh I don’t think I knew you’re in WI! MN girl here 🙋🏻♀️ Midwest weather is somethin’ else 😅
The demand for Cerave products is driven in part by Dr Dray subscribers. She tends to attract a certain demographic, and it has to be seen as a valuable public service to reach people who wouldn't necessarily do their own research, many of whom are new to regular sunscreen application. The comment section is a bit messianic. If she recommends something you are using, you can forget about buying it for months.
Hi Kelly! I greet you from the Czech Republic and I would like to thank you very much for your videos! Thanks to you, I got to know a lot of interesting products that helped me fight problematic skin. Now I also help my sister-in-law who has acne problems. I recommend trying iUNIK Beta-Glucan Daily Moisture Cream, it's absolutely great! Thank you so much again, you are great at what you do! :) ♥
Do you have an idea about WHY your skin is still " so dehydrated"? I mean you are using so many great toners, products etc, it should not be dehydrated any more...
Maybe its just dry still from the winter months. Idk. She does always say that. So i guess its just naturally dehydrated. Lol I dont really know how to tell if your skin is dehydrated tbh. Like i get if its dry but not sure how to tell the difference between if its dry or dehydrated.

Most likely wide barrel curling iron, curl whole head, leave to cool, gently brush through.

Interesting to see you loving Asian sunscreens after everything that has happened. I've personally chosen to back off but to each his own.
@kelly Driscoll do you use retinol eye cream every night?
Sadly the Cerave Moisturizing cream is a no for me, it really triggers milia under my eyes 😥
So I am using my Illiyoon and experimenting with some other moisturizers like Facetheory and the Purito sleeping mask!
Loveeeeeeee your videos and product recommendations SO much! I just bought the isntree spf and beauty of joseon glow serum, I can’t wait to try them out
I'm excited to hear what you think of them!
Your skin is just just glowing 🌟 I’ve been going back and binge watching your videos! My skin is in trouble! So dry, sensitive, irritated and red (I do have rosacea)! I have been severely stressed and it’s definitely showing up on my skin! I just don’t know what to do? 🤷♀️
I have the exact same skin this week from stress, I find keeping my skin cooler has helped and moisturised and it's going down super slowly but I also use the la Roche posy cica cream over my moisturiser every night which helps as well
@@emilybuchanan4161 thank you! I will try that! Have a great weekend!
Kelly, I've read somewhere that the age of the ginseng matters a lot so do you know the age of ginseng in Beauty of Joseon Essence Water?
@@lorainemcgillivray77 thank you for your
recommendation! ❤️
I was having high hopes for the Paula's Choice Gel-to-cream cleanser but it gave me substantial redness on my cheeks after each use(
I’m looking for an oil cleanser. Tatcha is my holy grail but seems to be out of stock everywhere. Help!
Klairs has a lovely one
Really good skincare🖤
@@KellyDriscoll thanks! I’m 55 yrs old and this is the first time it’s ever happened to me.
Masks do the same thing to me! Thanks for the tip.
I'm so sad the isntree micellar oil is being discontinued. Fortunately, I have 3 backups waiting lol.
Hahaha I know, I had this bottle so I wasn't too upset, hope they come out with something even better!
I always find so many new goodies when I watch your videos! Ahh I don’t think I knew you’re in WI! MN girl here 🙋🏻♀️ Midwest weather is somethin’ else 😅
I love your transparency about your sponsorships💖💖
You deserves more attention🤗
Lucky. I find most PC products kinda give my skin a burning sensation.
kellys skin is like a vampire 🧛♀️
The demand for Cerave products is driven in part by Dr Dray subscribers. She tends to attract a certain demographic, and it has to be seen as a valuable public service to reach people who wouldn't necessarily do their own research, many of whom are new to regular sunscreen application. The comment section is a bit messianic. If she recommends something you are using, you can forget about buying it for months.
Hyram is also a CeraVe fan.
Between him and Dr Dray, CeraVe is selling out.
New SPF development: I heard Make P:rem took the essential oils out of their mineral blue ray sunscreen!!!! 🙌
The PC Omega Moisturizer pills for me as well. I didn't like the texture of it too.. not moisturizing and quite mattifying for some reason
It's a weird kind of texture huh, not what I was expecting! Glad I'm not the only one who got the pilling, I was starting to wonder if it was just me!
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
My skin is naturally like that, doesn’t matter how much I drink or what I put on it, if I don’t use product it’s so dry and dehydrated
My skin is dehydrated from medications, autoimmune issues, HVAC forced air, etc - you never know why someone has dehydrated skin
My skin is dehydrated because I have dry skin so my barrier is not always 100%.
@@britnysnyder4991 exactly, this is why I asked myself! I have no idea why I am dehyhdrated with me using so many great products!
I'm waiting for the Missha Red Algae Essence Review 😭 I always hope to see it in this videos 🌈
You left hand must be far smoother than your right hand🤣
TIL’s Q10 serum is a Nah from me People love it I hated it and was using it last winter No thanks
