    The Ginseng Essence Water is my absolute favourite. I can’t go back now, I don’t think il ever use anything else! It’s brilliant. All of the Beauty of Joseon products are on another level 🙏💓😍 when I get an acne breakout I use the Wishtrend quad active boosting essence thanks to your recommendation. To me it’s like a miracle worker especially when followed by the propolis serum. Thank you so much for introducing me to my now holy grail products 💓💓💓💓

    Gracias Kelly! 🌻 This topic is really necessary, that even still doing homeoffice, there is no time to do all the AM routine. This last week I put the drops of serum and moisturiser lotion rubbing them well in my hands before applying at once, saving me 1 step. When we go back to work at the office, I would like to have only 3 steps including SPF, but without neglecting my AM routine. Thanx for sharing 🧡

    Hi do not mind me or the fact that I own the CosRx snail essence, the dual essence AND the snail moisturiser...
    Double duty you said.
    Tbf I use the dual essence in the morning, the regular essence at night and the moisturiser is too light for me, so I use it as a mixing medium for retinol or aloe Vera gel (mine pills) or to cut a thick moisturiser in summer so it doesn’t feel suffocating.

    How does the Cosrx cica cream compare to the Dr Jart Cica tiger grass cream and the Soon Jung Cica balm? I have very dry skin and liked the Soon Jung, but am considering trying a new Cica cream but need something very occlusive

    I usually only use a toner or an essence but never both. I use quite a few serums so I find that it I use both, I'd be using too mant products on my face. Two in one products are really helpful, I quite like them

  • @lorainemcgillivray77
    @lorainemcgillivray77 3 роки тому

    Hi Kelly quite a few products I like shown. I have definitely used the cosrx dual chamber essence as more of a serum many times - I love that product. The LRP cicaplast balm is what I'm currently using as a sleeping pack over the pyunkang yul ato cream, sandwiching my retinoid between the two after letting the ato cream dry down. As it's getting into Spring I switched out the Lipikar I use in the Winter as a sleeping pack (very occlusive for my severely dry skin), to the lighter (though still fairly occlusive) cicplast. It is really switching out a petrolatum based product to a dimethicone based product for occlusive purposes.
    I recently tried the FAB oat toner and was pleasantly surprised at just how hydrating it is (smells a little like porridge lol). I really like the soothing and hydrating I'm getting from it on my rosacea and eczema prone skin. I'm completely bummed that they have changed the ultra repair cream and am using instead the paula's choice calm night restoring moisturiser in it's place - both function pretty similarly for me as a day cream under my spf. As it's 60mls it is a bit less economical to use, but is also soothing and very hydrating like the previous version of the FAB cream for dry skin. Moisturiser for very dry skin is one area where Korean beauty has far fewer options in my opinion. As Korea is a warm/humid country they mainly focus on lightweight formulas and the really rich creams are far fewer in number. I love the toners, essences and serums though and continue to try and love those. Best wishes.

    Great video as usual, Kelly. Can you please make a video on how to layer ingredients? For example, if my toner & moisturizer both have ceramides, I wonder if that’s okay. Same goes with niacinamide since you can literally find niacinamide in every products nowadays. I have sensitive & acne-prone skin, plus super oily (it sucks!), so I got easily intimidated by adding a lot of concentrated ingredients in my skincare routine :(
    Thank you for making such great contents!

    • @sleepychild9781
      @sleepychild9781 3 роки тому +1

      I'm unsure if Kelly has a dedicated video to layering, but she might. As for ceramides, you can layer as many ceramides as you want. For niacinamide, 5% niacinamide is all you really need. Yet, a lot of people can go up to 10% niacinamide. Any more than that and it may be possible to experience irritation.
      Most of the layering concerns come in with chemical exfoliants and vitamin c. In general, its good to not use seperate chemical exfoliant products together. As for the specifics, its hard for me to remember, but thats the general view on it I believe. (sunscreen is needed for chemical exfoliants and vitamin c)

    • @sleepychild9781
      @sleepychild9781 3 роки тому

      @@mairanizam9331 I don't see why not. Most people don't have a problem up to 10%, others may experience irritation. With 7%, I'd go for it, and if you experience irritation you'll know for future that 7% may be too much for your skin.

    Hi dear thanks for the video, since joseon ginseng water contains 2% niacinamide and stratia liquid gold contains 4% niacinamide is OK to use both of them at the same time.

    • @sleepychild9781
      @sleepychild9781 3 роки тому +2

      With niacinamide you only need about 5%. But a lot people have no issues even going up to 10%. It really depends on the individual. In terms of niacinamide, I don't see why you can't use those two products together. And if you experience any irritation, than you know for future that 6% niacinamide is too much for your skin.
