  • "Everything Changed" is XVII Liceum Ogólnokształcące z Oddziałami Dwujęzycznymi im. Andrzeja Frycza Modrzewskiego student Natalia Kłyż's second-prize-winning film submission into the 23rd Annual Holocaust Art & Writing Contest sponsored by Chapman University and The 1939 Society. Natalia's film is based on the testimony of Vladka Meed ( • Holocaust Survivor Vla... ).
    Natalia's film statement:
The life of the young girl was dramatically changed. Because of the war, she lost her family, her friends, and her old life in Warsaw, including her education. During the war, she met new friends and her future husband. Many years after the war, she still remained in contact with those wartime friends.
The architecture of Warsaw has changed since the war. The girl in a red skirt goes to places in Warsaw that are important in Jewish history and memory. In the film, we see the same places in history and now. COVID too has changed our lives as we see in the film.
