You only hear the bad, but did you know that there are many people call “abolitionists” look when there is bad people, there is also good people. Focus on both. And world history is barely being taught in the US. History is always in a grey area.

I think this is especially beautiful as this is among other things a story of empathy even between generations, Religions and nationalities. We can all learn a bit, always helping others no matter if it's picking up a book or helping people escape death or oppression.

In 3rd grade, I found and article about her and was instantly hooked. I wrote my essay about her, and presented it in front of the class. I am so thankful that I was able to honor this true hero.

Anne wanted to release her dairy after the war but died before she could. She wrote her dream of beeing a famous writer and wanting to publish her dairy. Her father read the dairy and published it for anne so her dream can come true.

Instead of being a trophy for heads of state that often bombed the Middle East or didn’t do their utmost to protect human rights, the Nobel Peace Prize should be given to these individual people that didn’t have the strength of a nation behind them, but did more for human rights and the furtherance of peace than anyone else

The real Schindler didn’t have that reaction until many years afterward, though. It was changed for the dramatic value for the film.
My school has a whole comic book series about her and I've read all of them. She truly is a hero!

Schindler used " free labour" as a way to legitemently save more jews under the gestepos noses that otherwise would have been.
This must be Sendler’s list that I heard so much about.
Schindler's list is a similar case of helping people escape (the film is beautiful, would recomend watching though its very upsetting)

As a Social Work student today, this is brave and inspiring. And I wish I could be braver too to help children like her.
