I was driving west on I-20 coming up on Midland-Odessa when the big refinery outside town had a unit explode and a fire started as I was coming up on it. By the time I was driving past there was huge black cloud billowing from the fire... I grabbed a room for the night in Odessa and watched the local news... Nothing. Just another day at a Texas refinery. When the unit exploded I saw black debris flying hundreds of feet in the air, pieces of pipe and stuff... I thought for sure there would be something on the news. Nothing.
Maybe if you used proper English then did some research into how things explode and stop bringing politics into random stuff you'd be a much smarter and enjoyable person @@HellcatMad
I was on TFD 1980-2005. On December 25,1989, the Troco Oil plant caught fire, destroying every part of the business including the large storage tanks. It burned over 12 hours before getting it under control. It was located at the same area as this fire.
Thankfully and surprisingly everyone is okay and there were no injuries! Pretty shocking, definitely didn't think that would be the case when I was recording this!
Jesus is the way the truth & the Life. Ask Him into your life. Cleanse you from ALL unrighteounsess. Make Him your Lord & your Savior. One day, YOU will go to Heaven. Amen.
This is a REALLY scary thing. I used to live in Big Spring, Texas, near Cosden Refinery. I was terrified to have police come to my home and tell me to evacuate. He didn't give me a lot of details, just that there was a fire at Cosden.....where my husband was working that day! I loaded our 3 daughters in the car and went to a friends house. The heavy black cloud loomed just miles down the road, just like in this picture. It took more than 8 hours to find out my husband was okay. The fire was controlled. Vernon, my hubby, had an exciting story to tell, as I thanked God for saving him and his coworkers.
Years ago there was one in Charleston SC when I was little. It was no where near where we lived but it was still frightening. I saw it ruins later on. The tank was a black melted mess. Fortunately the other tanks weren't constructed very close to each other so only that one tank was involved.
I live in Oklahoma not far from Tulsa and besides Texas, this state is known for its gas and oils production and facilities. Tulsa has the majority of them.

The more they employ low skilled and pressured contract workers, the more disasters... they have no vested interest while working for peanuts and diminished benefits... only their management benefits
Seems like more floods, explosions and other catastrophies happening more recently.
Fuel shortages
Environmental damage
Supply Chain Shortages

Not surprised at all . Media hides a lot of truth.
That is odd. It should have been on the local news!

I just can't understand how all these disasters keep happening so frequent. Is it sabotage or just old equipment.
This is getting to be a daily occurrence all across the country! 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
