I'm a huge Arcade Fire fan and just LOVE this cover of The Suburbs. It's this cover that inspired me to learn to play the song so I can sing it to myself in such a special way, like Father John Misty ✌️
"Regaling the Internet with reapropriated music" lol
doesn't seem super stoked about his own cover...
Which is a pity cuz its fucking hot fire
Alex Chew many elastic encounters with absurdity probably did it to his face.
Would you be super stoked to be constantly asked to do covers rather than your own music?
@@QueenColeBleu if it was my job? Yea I guess it would get annoying haha
@@alexc61972 I agree this cover of The Suburbs is, "hot fire", and how I play and sing it, is in his style, not the original version. I sound pretty good lol
ahahahahaahhaaha
Should have done Started from the Bottom.
O, God that was awful, poor man
Winn butler actually from Texas should have done a rick James song that would have been epic
He grew up in Texas, but he was born in Canada.
Eliza Anderson
He was born in California
@@elizaanderson8909 i think u got it backwards. born in texas, raised in canada
His version of The Suburbs is so deeply emotional. If I'd ever heard the original, I wasn't aware of it. So I found it and...meh. It didn't grab me. But I keep coming back to this cover.
